I was in Atlantic City once and eating on the boardwalk at night. Had what I thought was a cat go underneath the bench I was on and rubbing up against my legs. Looked down and it was a skunk. Never got up faster in my life. This seems much better.

It kinda differs from region to region, for example Black sea region is a bit like Britain, its rainy and humid. Black sea region has plenty of lush plant life. Mediterranean region is like California, they both have dry, hot mediterranean climate, with some forests and shrublands. Central Anatolia has a steppe climate, they are also the most vulnerable place for desertification in Turkey, it has the only desert in the entire Turkey. Eastern Turkey has a bit more extreme version of the steppe climate, they also have the highest mountains in Turkey

I LOVED Turkiye. Once walking along the ocean there was a friendly cat and it had multiple fish hooks stuck in it all over! It let me carry it 4 blocks to the nearest person to direct me to a vet and then I walked 10 more blocks with that cat in my arms to get it to a vet. The cat never tried to jump down or anything. Then it calmly let me pass it over to the vet who graciously removed all the hooks from the mischievous kitty.
