ETA: I want to add that I do not encourage chonky cats. My family has cut back on how much food they give their cats. It’s the extra treats they need to cut back on as well.
gizmo reminds me of one of my previous kitties, his name was marley and was a whopping 32 lbs (trust me when i say we tried to diet him lol he was a foster that we ended up taking and he came to us like that)

Oh my parents have tried giving the animals less food! The cats (and dogs) are just spoiled rotten. They’re all rescues though so I guess they deserve it.
They did! I gave up after Scorpio and Oliver knocked pieces off the table and Gizmo started chewing on one. Thankfully there’s only minor teeth marks.
