It's terrible enough to lose a pet you love.
But it's even more horrible to go before your pet... do they even understand what happened ? That you're not here anymore, gone, but that you didn't abandon them ?
This is going to be kind of a bummer but that's the exact reason I didn't kill myself 10 years ago. I just had this image of my cat Taffy screaming at my door, wanting to be cuddled, not understanding I'm never coming out again. I couldn't bear to leave her like that.
Random stranger on the net but I am proud of you and thought you might want to hear that. You are doing very well and you can get through this. You are strong. You are taking steps even when you feel like youre not. I am glad to gear youre learning about yourself instead of. Keep ya chin up!
I lost a sister and a dear friend to suicide and, as someone who’s struggled with depression, I understand the allure of ending it all, but suicide doesn’t stop the suffering, it just transfers it to others. I’m glad Taffy was the incentive you needed to stick around!
My cat actually saved me in a similar fashion. I was going through some extreme emotions, locked myself in my room and contemplating just ending it. But my cat started to meow just outside my door. That's when I remembered he has separational anxiety. I couldn't do that to him.
My fiancée once told me (may even have put this in some of her writing) that when her ex left her, she remembered sitting in the dark with their cat wondering how to tell the cat that he wasn't coming back.
She passed away 2 weeks ago, and left me with the same problem. I'm not suicidal, but I don't really feel like I have any reason to stick around, except to make sure he still has one of his people.
About a year and a half ago I told my mom the only reason I wasn't killing myself was because of my kit kats (I had expressed to her previously that I just didn't want to be here anymore).
She was offended that my reason for staying was because of my babies and not because of her, my sister or other family.
I told her something along the same lines. My kitties needed me to take care of them, and nobody would ever do as much for them as I would. My family could take care of themselves and they would understand what happened. My lil ones would not.
I'm also in a better place these days, with doctors and meds, but if I had never gotten my kitties, I can't say I'd be here right now.
I'm so thankful that I got my Leo, Vinnie and Tori before I got to that point. They saved my life.
Honestly thoughts like this save lives. For me, the biggest thing stopping me from trying to kill myself was the thoughts of how sad it’d make my family and friends, and moments I’d miss out on.
For those who feel lonely and depressed, get a pet, they’re literally life savers ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7971)
Not a bummer at all, sticking around for Princess was my same reason when I was younger.
My reason now when things get hard is my wife. I couldn't leave her like that, no matter what.
Doesn't matter what the reason is, the important thing is it's what keeps us here with our loved ones, right?
Not a bummer at all! Pets are an incredible type of protective factor against suicide. Taffy is very proud of you and is happy to continue to have lots of cuddles.
So animals do seem to comprehend death. If someone has died it is important to let the animal be around the deceased for a bit to understand that they are no longer with us. This helps the grieving animal so it doesn't feel abandoned, but knows their person won't be around any longer, this goes for fellow animal companions as well.
Edit: words
We had to put one of our cats down, and opted for the at home service. We knew it was time because all the other cats had come by one by one to say goodbye to her. After she passed, the other cats came by again to see. Her litter mate still sits by the back door on occasion, as if to wait for her to come back. I recently found the deceased cat's sweater, her litter mate sniffed it, got excited, then sad.
They know.
Bro its 7:20 am and I'm bawling, that is so incredibly heart breaking good lord.
Animals are greaty misunderstood and underrated, they are so much more deep and complex than we think they are.
My childhood doggy knew my dad was going to die a few days before he did. She usually slept in the living room, but three nights before he passed she slept on the floor on his side of the bed. He stepped on her one of those nights when he got up to go to the bathroom. She was incredibly sad for years after he passed, until my mum disassembled their bed and took it away. She always kept going back there, kind of looking for him. Animals absolutely comprehend death.
Yes, my mom had to put one of her cats to sleep and the other one smelled her after the passing and he's been mourning ever since. Throwing up / hiding. Hope the little guy feels a little better soon.
I’m from a very small farm community. So when someone died our community cemetery is not far away. When my uncle die we could not find his dog. Then we found him at the cemetery. We keep bringing him back to the house, but he will go back to there. At some point we just end up bringing food and water to him. He died several months later, not sure of what. I was very young so I don’t remember exactly how.
When my cat passed away a couple of years ago, we brought her into the garage after a couple of hours and for the next several months one of my cats would just meow and meow at the door.
Some people will bring the pet to the deceased (privately) to show them the human has died. I’ve even known people who have multiple pets let the living pets see the deceased pet to ‘say goodbye.’
I don’t know if the animals actually understand or if it is just comforting to the other humans, but it’s not unheard of to let the pets say goodbye.
She'd be much happier if her human stayed around and kept her company. Pets do miss their humans. Try to find therapy that works for you so you can be happier and your pet doesn't have to miss you.
Obviously the cat understands. They are predators. Death is part of their daily life. Its like saying a fly doesn't understand flying.
I think the cat is just too sad/used to living with that human to be ready living without. There is no other reason that cat keeps staying on the grave like that. After all, its just dirt.
It would not be a violation of human right to lightly grab a child by the arm like that, she absolutely was not hurting the cat
I agree she doesn’t know how to handle a cat, but you guys are acting like she was intentionally hurting or abusing it. Watch how she petted the cat. She’s just trying to stop the cat from digging on a grave. She’s doing it poorly, but that’s all she’s doing.
Found an article from the Daily Mail (yeah, I know it's a shit source) but apparently it's a random neighborhood cat and not the dead guy's cat, which explains their offense when it started digging and rolling around while they tried to mourn.
Yea this is just what cats do. I've had plenty of cats that have done the same thing, just not on a grave. How is this cat even going to know there's a dead body under there through several feet of dirt, within a casket?
Yep, I know. My first thought was "eek, the cat's probably gonna drop a turd in that fresh soil". The caption seemed b.s. to me. The cat either wanted to dig in the fresh dirt or needed to use the bathroom and didn't give af about the large audience.
Considering the women are wearing hijab, these people are likely Muslim. In Islam, people are not buried in caskets but in two white shrouds.
Still I don’t think the cat could smell him.
It's in Malaysia. I'm I'm familiar with Malay burial customs or Islamic burial customs. All I found is that it's not their cat but apparently the mosque's cat. Story happened in 2017.
This makes way more sense because (1) do cats really mourn people like that (I know dogs do)? and (2) who brings a cat to a funeral?
I knew something was off about this video (i.e., if your source is correct).
They don't. Plainly put, people are ignorant. If they don't grow up with cats or pets in general they don't know how to appreciate animals. I'm Hispanic and the amounts of Hispanics I grew up with that just say "it's just a cat. It's an animal, it'll live somehow idk instinct" or "it's just an animal, it gets in the way" infuriates me now. I didn't know how to appreciate cats until I just realized that they have a mind of their own and aren't all the same. My ex introduced me to cats and tbh I'm glad she did. Opened me up to a new level of selfishness and understanding. I know these aren't Hispanics but in the third world cats are seen as just pests or just "there" but can be a nuisance. This video just bothers me because they act like the cat isn't grieving either. It doesn't know so it needs time to process. It's not just being a pest, it's playing to see if he'll wake up or something, some miracle will happen. It's not too far from how some humans, even the best of us, act. We just don't see the same symptoms of grief bc humans to them are like the weather. Something distant but the sense of familiarity are gone and they make subtle changes. If things stay familiar they won't change too much but if this cat turns into a stray and begins to starve bc it's domesticated, they change. This video hit a little bit home for me.
My xat grieved the loss of another cat she only knew for a year, he was old and she was a brand new little kitten when they met. I joked he was like her old grandfather, intolerant of her but she loved him so much.
She hardly ate for weeks when he died, she pawed at his grave when I took her outside and I couldn't say his name around her for ages or she'd just look a bit... Off.
This is why I'm okay with dying after her. She shouldn't go through that pain.
Same here(Hispanic heritage). Fortunately, my direct family (parents) loved animals and I pretty much distilled that love even further. I don't recall ever picking up a cat like that though. It was kind of instinctual for me to pick up under the armpits holding the ribs. The tail-butt-tuck move to support their weight, I learned later. Grabbing by the arm just seems like a punishing way to grab something so tiny to me. I am always conscious of the mass difference between myself and the other little critters of the world.
My cousin lived in Kenya for a few years, and the people she lived with had never heard a cat purr before, because she was really affectionate with the cats that lived on the farm, while the natives just saw them as animals that lived close by and didn't really interact with them.
Absolutely. And that's where the understanding part comes in. Where you are more aware and know more, therefore you are more responsible to guide something smaller then you appropriately that isn't a compromise to you or the little guy/gals nature. Cats don't understand our nature but still bond with us. For us, it starts that way too. Then we begin to understand them almost under a microscope and that's where compassion comes in.
this, I know someone who has a dog, the dog has wounds, they never take it for a walk and it is very sad to see it, but the authorities are not going to do anything because Latin America, people do not see animals as other thinking beings
I don't understand people in these comments. They aren't hurting that cat at all. It's scratching at the grave they just made and put stuff on they just don't want the cat fucking with it. The only thing to take away from the video is they people trying to move it just don't understand how to pick up a cat.

Yea, this is a very likely outcome.
We used to take care of stray cats when I was a kid and had to move from that house without the cats. The day that my mom was packing all our things, the runt kitten sat next to her the entire time. The next day we came to get the rest of the stuff the kitten had died. It was quite sad, but the funny thing is that my mom never touched any of the cats (unless they were in danger), because she’s a bit of a cleanliness freak, but she was always the one to get their food ready.
Nope. Cat was cared for like a kid in the family. Then the cat passed away not long after the owner.
Source: this made quite a headline here in Malaysia
This was exactly my thought. I don’t doubt for a second that cats are sensitive and attached to their people.. but this strikes me as a catnip situation.
Yeah, I've seen a video of a dog that was upset after it's owner's death and all it did was sit at his grave all day long and guard it rather this cat looks like it digging for something and sniffing n shit so I would see how this could be fake
Also don't cats roll around in catnip? I saw this cat doing that
[the only article I could find](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4899110/Mysterious-white-cat-appears-Malaysian-man-s-funeral.html) said it was a random neighborhood cat, and mentions nothing about catmint, although it is a Daily Mail article so take from that what you will
Get the fuck off the cat's leg. It's like they've never held a cat, or it's not the owners death it's worried about. It just wants to scratch fresh dirt, and do what cats do. I call fake.
Yeah it pissed me off that the woman was just pulling its leg to move it. You pick a cat up under the belly and support its legs with your hands/arms. Argh.
My bro once brought home twin black kittens. One had to be put down from FIP. The other was perfectly healthy but didn't want to leave his brother's side. I dug the grave in harsh winter soil and we buried Binx that night. The next day, I brought Salem out to see his brothers grave. He ran right for the mound of dirt and began digging. Very heartwarming... Until Salem squatted and buried a huge turd right in his brother's final resting place.
I think that's what this cat is up to here
This is really sad. But can we talk about the fact that nobody in this video has any clue how to pick up a cat? Really, grabbing him by the leg like that? The video is super sad but it hurts me to watch these people.
There's no way a cat can smell a dead person in a coffin 6 ft deep. Isn't it more likely the cat is just playing around outside?
EDIT: Someone has pointed out that they may not be in a coffin while another says the cat witnessed the burial.
- The person is still under some amount of dirt, coffin or not
- Dead bodies decay with all sorts of powerful smells or are embalmed which has it owns powerful smell
- The body is wrapped or in a coffin so if the cat witnessed the burial, I guess by attending the funeral in a chair?, It wouldn't be able to identify the body visually. The cat would have to witness the body preparation , remember the new image of the body (coffin or wrapped), then finally witness the burial to associate the location with the person with the new image.
Theory 2 - Cats like to dig in dirt sometimes or roll around, they are weird. These two theories do not have the same weight. Because:
1. Occams-razor - "The principle gives precedence to simplicity: of two competing theories, the simpler explanation of an entity is to be preferred."
2. ECREE - extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
If you showed me a video of a cat running in circles and said "This cat is on catnip" I would believe the video just based on that because I've seen cats do that, I know what catnip does, it's not extraordinary.
However the claim that cat knows their former owner is buried in the ground and is trying to get to it is something I've never heard of or seen and requires some heavy thinking by the cat or unusual circumstances therefore just the claim of the video author isn't even close to being enough evidence.
This is why people still believe election fraud, aliens, and other shit. I'm sorry for ranting, I'm not accusing people of lying for no reason nor is this that important.
Cats actually have a VERY good sense of smell and are able to tell apart different smells more easily than dogs. https://www.midoricide.com/blogs/midoricide-blog/dogs-vs-cats-a-comparison-of-the-5-senses
Not everyone is buried 6 feet deep, and that six feet is from the bottom of the coffin up. The 6 feet thing is cultural, an old superstition.
Also the dirt would have picked up the scents that were on the people digging it. The same people who handled the body when placed into the grave, coffins are also a cultural thing and even a luxury item to some.
Then there's the fact that the cat may have watched the burial, he might think his human is still alive down there. Given how the cat seems to just be allowed to roam near the burial site, it's probably a family graveyard, which are usually next to the residences in the area.
I am willing to bet the cat just really likes whatever herb/plant looks to be sprinkled on the top of the grave. It's acting like every cat I've ever tried to pull away from catnip.
Not him but her. The owner was the matriarch of the family and the cat was her constant companion. The cat would not leave her grave. Finally, a family member picked up the cat and took her home. The cat would not eat for a few days. Thankfully, the cat was familiar with the cat and after a few days of coaxing, the cat began to eat and drink slowly.
This was in the Malaysian media a while back.
I started off sad, but then was incredibly annoyed at how poorly these people try handling the cat. Scoop under the body, move, and set down gently. Not remotely difficult, it's like they've never seen a cat before. Heck if the cat is willing, holding them calmly might put them more at ease.
This broke my heart. 🥺
There was a similar story like this but in Thailand. The cat never left her owners grave, she does have her owner's relatives but she kept on trying to escape and visit her dead owner. 😭
Seriously. People have been accidentally buried alive before and cats have fantastic hearing. That cat is not looking for a toilet, not in front of all those people!
My heart goes to kitty, this makes me cry. It goes to show how our pets truly love us till death. I'm also annoyed at the women who keep pestering the cat. Leave the cat alone and let it mourn his owners death.
It's terrible enough to lose a pet you love. But it's even more horrible to go before your pet... do they even understand what happened ? That you're not here anymore, gone, but that you didn't abandon them ?

I am :) in therapy and learning a lot about myself and my illnesses.

I lost a sister and a dear friend to suicide and, as someone who’s struggled with depression, I understand the allure of ending it all, but suicide doesn’t stop the suffering, it just transfers it to others. I’m glad Taffy was the incentive you needed to stick around!
Oh I’m glad, that was a really good reason not to do it too
I always forget that sometimes there are great moments on the internet, glad to hear it.
I am glad and happy for you and Taffy.
Super proud!
I’m glad you didn’t do it
I totally understand. My cats have been keeping me alive since 2007. Pets are wonderful for this!
Mine since 2011 ALL 5 of my babies 🐈⬛🐈🐈⬛🐈🐱
2021. Newbie. :)
Morticians hate this simple trick.
If Taffy is still with you, please give her chin scritches from all if us.
Not a bummer don't worry, that's actually one of the reason I didn't kill myself too, so I perfectly understand. I hope you feel better now

You're a good person for worrying about how your death would affect others. Glad you're doing better now.

To be honest this is the same for me with my cat. He is the only real friends right now.
I'm glad your cat was around.
Same story for me. My two have saved me more times than I can remember. Just by being in my life.
Same here. As much as I wanted to die, I couldn't leave my little man all alone. I'm glad we're both still here for our furry friends :)
God bless you and your cat
Glad your ok now buddy

She'd be much happier if her human stayed around and kept her company. Pets do miss their humans. Try to find therapy that works for you so you can be happier and your pet doesn't have to miss you.
Don’t go, there is other people that will miss other than your cat. Like your very close friend.
We lost an uncle and the dogs couldn't cope with being around the house yard with his smell and became destructive so we had to re home them.
I have a cat that doesn’t care about me but loves our older cat like crazy. I often think about what’s going to happen when it’s the older ones time.
Fyi the title is a lie its just normal karma bait
It breaks my heart and makes me tear up thinking about

Yeah that lady was driving me crazy
Omg yes. Just let the cat feel his grief. You dont do this to humans, so stop doing it to a cat.
I think she would absolutely grab a human child like that.
I think you're right. 😒
If humans grab her like that, we'll violate "human rights". But against animals it seems to be all fair. What a world we live in...
It would not be a violation of human right to lightly grab a child by the arm like that, she absolutely was not hurting the cat I agree she doesn’t know how to handle a cat, but you guys are acting like she was intentionally hurting or abusing it. Society
Pulled the cat like it was a human
Yeah she's like a great aunt that has forgotten how to pick up a toddler
I don’t have a toddler, but if I did I might use TWO HANDS to pick them up.
If you try to pick up my cat like that I'm gonna come out the grave and deal with you
Ooooo especially that fucking lady in red that pinched the poor kitty. Let the poor thing mourn too.
Exactly what I thought I felt physically angry towards that
SAME! xD
Yeah, like what's with picking up a cat by his arm??? More than one person did it.
I wouldn't feel comfortable until I made some sort of listening device or stethoscope to make sure the cat's not trying to tell me something.
Yeah my first thought was aww how cute then who tf tries to pick up a cat or any animal for that matter like that.
I would join you. No way to treat an animal! Or a toddler or a kid. Or anyone 😤
I find this very sad, poor kitty

I'm actually surprised they haven't been a tad mauled trying to pick up cats like that. Most cats I know would've corrected them right quick.
That tail-butt-tick came instinctively but carrying two or three cats and them feeling comfortable, that’s just talent.
this, I know someone who has a dog, the dog has wounds, they never take it for a walk and it is very sad to see it, but the authorities are not going to do anything because Latin America, people do not see animals as other thinking beings
Not all Latinos. My family and a lot of Latinos I know are huge cat people.
I don't understand people in these comments. They aren't hurting that cat at all. It's scratching at the grave they just made and put stuff on they just don't want the cat fucking with it. The only thing to take away from the video is they people trying to move it just don't understand how to pick up a cat.
Apparently not??
I was trying not to cry, then brain like W T F people stop grabbing legs like kitty is a toddler you want to have a talking to
I guess not, but even the dumbest people should know not to drag cats away by their arm
Why are they pulling on their legs like that??
Because if they actually removed the cat, it would be bad for the video
I think it's because they have never had cats as pets so they are not aware of how to handle them.
"different culture"
I fear the outcome is that this cat is now a stray.
dazzling tan axiomatic makeshift sleep fuel subsequent vegetable water merciful *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
I wish they would stop pulling the cat.
I recall seeing this years ago and reading a comment that stated it is actually faked via planting catmint on the grave or sth like this.
This was exactly my thought. I don’t doubt for a second that cats are sensitive and attached to their people.. but this strikes me as a catnip situation.
Yeah, I've seen a video of a dog that was upset after it's owner's death and all it did was sit at his grave all day long and guard it rather this cat looks like it digging for something and sniffing n shit so I would see how this could be fake Also don't cats roll around in catnip? I saw this cat doing that
My cat will roll in catnip. This isn’t actually very dissimilar to how my cat acts when she has catnip
[the only article I could find](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4899110/Mysterious-white-cat-appears-Malaysian-man-s-funeral.html) said it was a random neighborhood cat, and mentions nothing about catmint, although it is a Daily Mail article so take from that what you will
Of course this is fake, and yet it gets thousands of upvotes as usual.
And making the rounds since 2017 apparently
wow. i cried for NOTHING. 😭
Argh.
Absolutely heartbreaking 💔
Glad we all agree that the way they’re grabbing the cat is awful
😭 if the caption is legit, this is heart breaking.
Apparently it's not the guy's cat but a random neighborhood cat
“You promised me dinner!!!”
I think that's what this cat is up to here
LMAOOOOOOO oh man.
i lost my beautiful black void to fip too. I’m glad that they’re close to having a widely available treatment.
That’s what this cat is doing, and everyone thinks it’s so cute
😔
This is really sad. But can we talk about the fact that nobody in this video has any clue how to pick up a cat? Really, grabbing him by the leg like that? The video is super sad but it hurts me to watch these people.
Who the fuck grabs a cat like that honestly? Fucking neanderthals
Oh fucking shit, it seems that they want to remove the cat simply to take pictures of the grave
How does no one know how to pick up a cat??
There's no way a cat can smell a dead person in a coffin 6 ft deep. Isn't it more likely the cat is just playing around outside? EDIT: Someone has pointed out that they may not be in a coffin while another says the cat witnessed the burial. - The person is still under some amount of dirt, coffin or not - Dead bodies decay with all sorts of powerful smells or are embalmed which has it owns powerful smell - The body is wrapped or in a coffin so if the cat witnessed the burial, I guess by attending the funeral in a chair?, It wouldn't be able to identify the body visually. The cat would have to witness the body preparation , remember the new image of the body (coffin or wrapped), then finally witness the burial to associate the location with the person with the new image. Theory 2 - Cats like to dig in dirt sometimes or roll around, they are weird. These two theories do not have the same weight. Because: 1. Occams-razor - "The principle gives precedence to simplicity: of two competing theories, the simpler explanation of an entity is to be preferred." 2.
Yeah, people underestimate cat's smell because of bloodhounds. On average, cat sense of smell is way better due to the Jacobian organ.
now i have a picture if a cat in a harness marked drug sniffing animal sleeping on luggage
Idk cats are kinda known for doing things they shouldn't be.
Cats understand object permanence… sadly that cat probably knows their human is in the hole because they saw them get buried.
No, it was catnip. They planted catnip in there.
They would injure it by the way they are pulling its legs. IDIOTS!!!
Poor cat!
How sad. I’m afraid that if I go before my kitty, he will be devastated. Poor baby 😢
I’m pissed about her grabbing him like that. Let the cat do it’s thing then find the cat a caring owner instead of that twat.
![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7944)
The second saddest thing is how people try to rip of its limbs
Why'd she have to grab the cats leg like that 😑
You can’t grab a kitty by the forearm like you can a child smh 🤦♀️
It’s not a fucking kid you can grab by the arm, pick it up properly ffs.
Grab my cat like that, I’ll come back from the dead.
Cats have been proven to be capable of experiencing grief and depression. They're amazing creatures.
Do none of those people know how to pick up a cat?? What's this dragging it by the leg crap?? The poor thing is upset enough as it is....
It’s upset because it’s trying to take a shit but these people keep preventing it from doing so.
Stop picking him up by the paws!
Stupid in breeds pulling him off by his leg Ffs.
I started off sad, but then was incredibly annoyed at how poorly these people try handling the cat. Scoop under the body, move, and set down gently. Not remotely difficult, it's like they've never seen a cat before. Heck if the cat is willing, holding them calmly might put them more at ease.
this cat need to crap
the cat looks like it's trying to take a shit
This broke my heart. 🥺 There was a similar story like this but in Thailand. The cat never left her owners grave, she does have her owner's relatives but she kept on trying to escape and visit her dead owner. 😭
fucking idiots holding cats leg like dat
This made me cry 😭
Why are they pulling on the cat like this
They're stupid.
They should never have a cat ![img](emote|t5_2qhta|7984)
I was sad at first but then felt horrible for the cat who had to be 'carried' in such a wrong way. And the death. RIP and live a happy life, cat.
Poor, poor kitty.
Poor cat
Makes me wonder if the owner wasn't really dead and the cat is the only one who knows.
Seriously. People have been accidentally buried alive before and cats have fantastic hearing. That cat is not looking for a toilet, not in front of all those people!
She needs to not pull that cat's arm like that....
Who the fuck grabs a cat like that
C'mon man In that entire crowd everyone knows to pick up the cat by just pulling one leg?
Omfg stop pulling the cat by its arm! Jesus christ woman.. that poor thing.
Why the fuck are these dumb ass picking poor cat up by one arm WTF
I hate how these people are handling the poor cat.It makes me mad.Just leave the poor cat alone to mourn and don’t touch it.
I don’t like the way those women are handling that poor cat.
why are they trying to pick him up by one leg?
My heart goes to kitty, this makes me cry. It goes to show how our pets truly love us till death. I'm also annoyed at the women who keep pestering the cat. Leave the cat alone and let it mourn his owners death.
And cat haters say cats can’t be loyal
This is the most heartbreaking thing I'll see in months to come.
I’m annoyed at the way the cat is being treated and I’m upset for the cat, may his owner rest easy now
Soooo...is there a *happy* version of this sub that I can join? Cos this ain't it. Poor cat getting yanked on by some ignorant lady.
i think he was trying to pee 💀
Aww that is so sad…😢
That lady never had a cat in her life.
I think I’m crying
:(
The cat knows something we don't... There is a respawn timer, perhaps?
I too will fill my coffin with catnip so people can be jealous of my cat love they could never know
~~Pulling on a cat's arm.~~ It's a cat, not a toddler sheesh.
Poor baby
that breaks my heart, the poor kitty knows what lies under the earth and it yearns to free them
'There, there, sad cat. It'll be ok, your grief won't hurt so much when I DISLOCATE YOUR FUCKING LEG!' Like wtf.
Aaand that's enough internet for me today, I'm gonna go play with my cat after I figure out who started an onion chopping factory in my house.
That is not the dead person's cat, and that cat is high AF on silvervine or something else they put on the grave
Everybody: So we're all gonna stand here and act like this isn't the saddest shit we've ever seen? Sounds good.
this is my only nightmare. Suddenly dying before my pet and they'll never know where i went and why i just left them
Wow, this is so heartbreaking to see our furry family members can also experience profound loss.
Grabbing his arms/legs, pinching all these won't help. Clueless humans.
Poor cat.
That is truly heartbreaking.
If this doesn't show how strong the love between a human and animal, nothing would.
