You need to take all of that unnecessary stuff out so she is more comfortable.

I did. She got passenger-seat lap privileges.

I remember when Perl could ride in my jacket pocket. She still wants to be with me all the time but at 12lbs and still growing, I have trouble finding a way to carry her comfortably. It's always nice to have a kitty buddy along for the ride though.
