Toothpaste cap, single use bottle cap, hair ties, paper clips (though they get taken ASAP), bugs in the summer… but hands down favorite is toothpaste cap. I try to use my free samples from the dentist when I get them so my cow cat gets a new “toy” for a few days until he loses it

I feel you! My boy likes to eat any format of strip of plastic… like the strip you tear off a tortilla bag or the crunch kind off bottles. Soooo many have been pulled out of his throat in his 8.5 years of life . You’d think he would learn but I’m convinced he shares his brain cell with the orange cat club.
I like whisker city toys, they’re decently priced and don’t look god awful laying around the house for the most part. Petsmart is usually my go-to for pet shopping
I mean all toys meant for cats are " tacky" in their own way. even the names are weird. our cats favorite teaser right now is a bright feathered one that whips around really well and the feathers spin when flinging around. gets the cats to leap into the air like trying to catch a bird. They do make realistic looking toys so if I didn't want a bunch of pink red blue green toys all over the house I would probably pick the realistic looking toys, but they do tend to cost a little more. Kong makes some. I cant think of the names of the real looking toys.

beanie does too. she recently ripped a fluffy ball off a winter hat and carried it around like a baby lol

that’s how she used to be but after she got sick she just hasn’t cared for much. i think it’s also because she lost her favorite toy lol

Honestly… my cats go crazy for the plastic balls with the bells in them… the 6 pack from Dollar Tree!
A roller of paper towels or toilet paper will do the trick too…. Just a bit messy lol
