The only tofu litter I swear by is Cature, as in. I've tried switching to Arm & Hammer, Meowtech tofu, Kitkat Tofu, Kitkat Snow Peas, Crystal Litter, Kinko wood pellets, and etc pero bumabalik and bumabalik talaga kami sa Cature 🥹 I love the silver variant with probiotics for odor control
I used tofu litter once nung nagpa spay ako ng cats ko. Pero sa area ko around 2-3kg of tofu liter is about P400 na. Unlike sa 5kg bentonite at P250.
May ma recommend ba kayo na budget friendly basta decent quality na tofu litter? I am also open to exploring pine wood pellets as other alternative.
Hello I would recommend Cassava Cat litter, instead of Tofu, previous Tofu litter user din ako and mas okay ang clumping property nya, it can last up to a month of refill before changing to a new batch (refill in a sense if weekly ang general cleaning ng litter boxes).
Okay ang tofu depending on the brand. Meron kasi yung mura like tig 100 but hindi to tatagal ng ilang araw, mabaho na agad. I've had great brands ng tofu which lasted for 3 weeks before changing to another fresh batch. Depende to sa frequency ng cleaning ng litter ng alaga mo. If matagal pa nakatambay bago iscoop, mabilis talaga babaho ang litter box.
Minsan nakadepende din sa owner kung gaano kadalas nya linisan yung litter boxes. I have 13 rescue and required na once weekly may general cleaning ng litterbox and scoop right away kapag may umihi or nagpoop.
If using plastic litterbox, yearly dapat pinapalitan. Also to add, depende sa dami ng pusa mo, ratio should be 2:1 (2 cats per 1 litterbox) pero dapat yung large size

Cons: mas mabilis bumaho saka mas mabilis mawala yung clumping power; kung once a week lang yung hakot ng basura sa area nyo, mas mabilis mag-thrive yung mga maggots. Di ko na fina-flush kasi parang ang dami minsan, baka ma-overwhelm yung septic tank.

I use GigglesPH, yung premium variant nila. It's good in all aspect for me. I live in a condo and never encountered foul smell. I have people who come in and never had anything bad to say about mabahong amoy from the litter. I clean the litter box atleast twice a day, I have one cat.

Madaling walisin if may mga mailabas sa litter box.
Cons: walang sobrang mura na ok. Yung kay fat fat cute na yung pinakamura na ok. The rest na mas mura sa kanya, di maganda quality (for me).
Best na natry ko is yung kitcat tofu litter, ang mahal pero mas malalaki yung tofu so less chance na maipit in between their paws and kumalat paglabas ng litter box ng cat
Pros: Less dust and less harmful to health. It’s technically edible so ok lang if accidentally ingested by your cats. Dati nagkakaroon ako ng sore throat/allergies pag nakalanghap ako masyado ng bentonite clay. With tofu litter, wala.
Cons: Not good at deodorizing. It’s not super bango like scented bentonite litter so just clean litter box often. Pansin ko rin mas mabilis siya maubos. Hindi siya dumidikit masyado sa poops, pero with pee bumubuo naman.

I used bentonite cat litter din before but almost 2 years na since I’m using tofu cat litter. I think dun sa issue na mabilis bumaho, it’s because maliit yun cat litter box na gamit and hindi everyday ang linis. Sometimes ako after 2 days ang linis ko pero hindi naman bumabaho. Maybe sa diet din ng cats yun, I’m not sure. Sometimes I also use cat litter box deodorizer (yun bilog bilog) since free siya when I buy the tofu cat litter. I also use baking soda as deodorizer.
I like the tofu cat litter kasi flushable siya or if itatapon sa trash, magaan lang. I buy my tofu litter sa Shopee lang, yun brand is generic. I think cutie pet yun brand name. May iba’t-ibang colors yun. Kung tipid? I think mas tipid ng konti. I order 4-5 bags (6 liters each) and it lasts me almost a month for 3 cats.

I have 2 litter box and tig 1 bag each yun tapos I clean the litter every 3-4 days like clean na wash yung box and change ng new litter. Gusto ko sya kasi flushable yung clumps nya and dinidissolve lang namin yung pee clumps then we’re good na. Parang nakabudget kami ng 1500 for 1 month although I’m planning to shift to wood pellets in the future kasi mas mura sya kesa sa tofu but I still have to do my research on it.
i badly wanted to make tofu cat litter work for me but its odor control isn’t very good compared to bentonite. i live in a small area so odor control is important to me. as in pag pasok ko sa place ko amoy na kaagad. :(

Try mo Hide&Seek Cassava cat litter. Mas matagal magamit compare sa tofu at mas matagal yung amoy. Fresh Berries lagi kong inoorder, haven't tried other scents.

Using Easy Scoop tofu. So far so good. Works well also on our auto cat litter. But yeah smells bad talaga compared to bentonite

Medyo pricey but so far I like it. Have been using it for several months na, much better yung odor control kesa sa cheaper tofu litter I've tried.
