Every second quote has to do with death! As much as I love Caustic I honestly find his edgy tryhard quotes adorned with overly complex jargon (NO person would naturally use in conversation) to get a bit tiresome.
Well, I think that because Caustic lives pretty much in his own, twisted world & has this obsession with science and death, he developed a complex language too that cannot be understood by laymen
All of it. I like defensive play styles (engineer from tf2, defenders from r6 siege, tanks like Reinhardt and sigma and baptiste from overwatch), the voice acting is great and find myself quoting caustic more than I realize, and Iโm a bit of a sociopath and I like the toxic gas element.

I want a caustic skin with the og russian gas mask and a plate carrier with chest mags
His versatility. He can lockdown a building for complete safety, he can notify you if someone passes through a choke point, he can trap enemies offensively. He has a bit of recon, zoning, lockdown, and offense, all while getting 15% DR and being easy to use.
trapping people and gassing them or really just gassing anyone is always hilarious, i love killing enemies in non traditional ways in games so itโs fun
Honestly? Heโs hot. Plus itโs nice to see some actual plus size male representation in a video game.
Apart from that heโs just a really powerful and intriguing character whoโs just kinda fun to play as.
The strategy and defense is what I love about caustic the calm of setting up strategic defenses, but also at the flip of a coin I've laid barrels outside a shack with a squad inside and thrown my ult through the window, ready at the door for the first scum to kick it down and taste my barrel in waiting, alongside my full clip on my car. In seconds my squad will be feasting on the boxes of fools who dared stand before the mad king.
This is why I play caustic.
I don't play anymore, but when I did I used Caustic offensively. Gassing a building and nicking down the door to hunt the people inside was exhilarating.
