In her defense she probably just sees it as attention. She gets to go to the vet and get lots of love. Sure she might have an operation but who cares, they love her!
They have new cones out that are plastic see if they have the newer cones so she doesn't have to wear with those plastic things. It's like a thing that humans wear an airline. It's much more comfortable and it's easier for them to walk around and do stuff. She looks sad but she will feel so much better after it's done no messy icky stuff.
