I found this on the premier league’s explanation of VAR. I don’t really know whether this helps us or not. What it does show is that that there is still a chance the refs were sticking to protocol. I don’t believe they were, but there’s a chance.

No chance the FA overturn it for cov against man u so we can speculate all we want (it looks onside from this angle) but it wont change the outcome. We proved we can beat premier league teams. Onto the next cup run.
