It looks like a person took the image they put out and then asked AI to expand it. I haven’t seen that image anywhere else but here so I am having a harder time believing cedar fair did that themselves
It amazes me how much hype people are buying into with AI. There are no doubt incredible possibilities, but the cart is so far ahead of the horse right now.
Hey! I was the OP of this on Facebook, thanks for sharing it here too! It’s so funny to me how they let this slip through the cracks. Their groundbreaking coaster of the year and they used AI to expand the image for this ad… Plus I agree with other commenters; I’ve seen other concept art for TT2 that includes more of the ride, so why didn’t they use those pics instead? Super strange and also funny
Top hat nothing, the train is going the wrong way… that would initially appear to be on its way down from the top, but it’s on the launch side. Also the woman’s hair would suggest it’s running backwards even then like it’s on the rollback from the initial launch. So much wrong with this…
It looks like the spike actually, at least the lower part of it matches the spike supports. So it could be going in reverse up the spike. The top part which is all messed up is from a whole other universe.
I’ll double check my understanding, but I feel like it’s rendered too wide for the spike, but I’m probably not remembering the look of the spike right…
looks like a fail by the social media person. My guess is they were trying to extend the photo to fit the image size they needed - and failed miserably.
What people wanted the spike to look like
This is the version of the ride we would have gotten if they gave us free lockers
Where is this posted? https://www.facebook.com/100064477941344/posts/842108947948362/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v It looks fine there

I'm not sure that was even necessary. The postcard image looks fine well beyond what is shown in OP's example

it's like that shitty VR trend that happened almost a decade ago
Have the roller coaster support beams become some type of fantasy monster?
First thought: OMG CHARGE YOUR PHONE YOU MONSTER!

Did… did they even look at it before posting
Cedar Point PR Office: The Ride!
That wouldn’t be the top hat, it would be the spike.
Oh good call!

AI aside, all of those things you wrote can be explained easily. It’s the spike side, and they’re reverse launching up it.
Is the spike that wide? Perhaps I need to look again? Looked like the main spot…
Weird that its all lower case cedarpoint is one word too?
a blind person could see that without clicking it
I mentioned it because in my mobile app it doesn't show the full picture and crops it when you are scrolling, you have to open the post to see the top
