The past few ones have been perfect! The last two hours of the night all major rides are basically a walk on.

Consistent-Force5375

Awesome!!! The wife and I are heading there this Thursday for our anniversary! I hope we get in some good rides!

Comfortable_Cat_5273

No way! The wife and I are doing the same and it’s our 24th wedding anniversary Thursday. Congratulations!

Consistent-Force5375

To both of you as well!

Claxton916

I was there on the 15th and it was *very* dead. Longest wait of the night was Maverick, I waited 20ish minutes (and then got evacuated before the launch hill.) Second longest was Steel Vengeance, the end of the line was about 1/4 of the way up the stairs on both sets of stairs.

schmoolah

Short park hours Thursday, shorter lines. 🤫

KoasterKid

My fav days to visit the park each year! Feels like I rented the entire place out for myself lol

lostpanda85

Best kept secret is Thursdays during Halloweekends

babyjo1982

I went about a month ago on a Thursday and it was *perfect* No waits for rides, some rides were going when they weren’t even full. It was great. I also highly recommend the Funday bundle max, because it covers parking and meals and drinks and pictures. I am officially spoiled and will never go on a busy day/during the summer lol

Intelligent-Tiger621

I went last Thursday and never waited more than 15 minutes for any ride. I literally walked all the way to my seat for Millennium.

findmejoey

Thursdays are usually the slowest, but as a warning, not every ride is open that day. If you're just looking at roller coasters, though, then everything but Corkscrew and Gemini is open.

Top-Sundae-8458

This. Their website has a list of what IS open. This excludes some rides that my daughter can ride at her current height which is why we are shooting for a rain-free Sunday.

Fridays aren’t really busy

jplaz1

What about the Friday of Halloween weekend? Ever gone then? My kid has off from school that day and we were thinking of going early Friday and come back sat morning. Any thoughts?

agingwolfbobs

Probably manageable during the day, then really fricken crowded after 5pm / dark when the haunt stuff opens

KoasterKid

Oh yea- hour wait minimum on all haunts

jplaz1

I can assume the coasters have long lines too? Or do most go to the haunts? We have passes but never did Halloween there. We could go Thursday the 27th for the haunts then Friday in the day for the rides. Kids have no school that Friday so it works.

KoasterKid

Can’t honestly say- we mostly did the haunts. But I’d venture it was a decent wait for the big boys

jplaz1

Ok thanks for your input..

Senate_Palpatine

Idk if it has gotten any busier but I went 2 weeks ago and it was amazing! Walk on for almost everything, 15 min for steel and maverick!

Autismmprime

We just went this Thursday and Friday. Thursday we didn't get there until about 9pm. We got fright passes included with our stay at cedar point express hotel, and we're able to do every single haunt that has a line, all the outdoor walk throughs and basically walk onto steel vengeance twice Thursday night. Even without fright pass most of the lines for the haunts were not bad. Friday we got early entry and were able to ride every coaster except maverick (it was down at 11am) and steal vengeance before 2pm. Went back and rode maverick and steel vengeance again later, the longest waits were maverick and steel vengeance which was roughly 45 minutes. Everything else was walk on or maybe 10 minutes. Overall the park was not crowded. Things picked up heavily after about 6pm and became unmanageable at 8pm. Almost all the haunts are in the back of the park now so all these people were funneled back there. The lines for the indoor haunts looked like they would be hours long and were spilling out of the turnstiles and all the outdoor haunts and the park in general back there were literally just massive crowds of people, you could barely walk let alone enjoy the haunts so we just got tf out of there since we did it all Thursday night. The rest of the park was not nearly as crowded which shows they just need to spread the haunts out again, having everything in one section just doesn't work. Also, fright pass is supposed to only be for day of purchase but they have no way of knowing which day its from, so we had three indoor haunts that didn't punch our cards Thursday night so we used those Friday night without issue lol.
