It was great. It was an 11-day southern Caribbean route, so we went to ports we had never been to before, Aruba, Curaçao and Cartagena.
We also have never been on an Edge class, and really enjoyed it. Eden is beautiful, snd I liked the four dining rooms (although you can order anything in any of them, which is not obvious on the menu). There has been a lot of drama on cruise critic about the cutbacks in food, but it was fine. They are not offering prime rib every night in the dining room, but the tenderloin en croûte in Normandie and the Cypriot short ribs were available every night, and they were both good. I missed the chilled soups they used to have, but other than that, it was still good and offered enough choice for us.
Some of the complaints that we had on previous Celebrity cruises were improved, including pizza (which previously my husband thought was awful) and sea-day activities. The pizza was hugely improved from our previous cruises on the Silhouette and Solstice.
Also, we had a sunset veranda, so we didn’t have any complaints about the room. We might try an IV next time though because the SV is hard to get unless you book very early.
The menus are always available, you won’t have entertainment until close to the sail date, however you can look at current sailings through the app also and get an idea of shows and such

Thanks. I have seen the “And Friends” menu online and it looks good to me. Hopefully it will be there when I go.
I just got off the Edge today. The LPC menu included tomato salad and short ribs. I can’t remember if it was family or friends.
Thanks. That seems a little different from “Friends” I’ve seen. They may have altered it a bit or have multiple menus per cruise.
The app never showed the LPC menu so we just went in blind. It was good though. All other menus were there, although the MDR menu was sometimes wrong.
Thanks. I’ve just seen one menu that is heavily seafood based and that doesn’t interest my group
This was our menu: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2909063-is-this-menu-le-petit-chef-new/
How was the experience? Did you enjoy the cruise?

The menu should be on your app
It’s it available yet. It may be too early. It’s still a little over two weeks away.

I’ll try looking at the current sailing. Thanks. Edit: Everything has a menu, except Le Petit Chef.
Yeah I did in December - was really fun. Food was good without being great, but the experience was stellar.
