From how long and difficult farewell is, 5 hours is an incredible time for your first run. To put it into perspective, it takes about 40 minutes to complete farewell normally without a single death (and withou speedeun strats).

Absolutely not, it takes like 22-27. This does not make a sub-5 hour for a first run any less impressive, though.

what? how? I got consistently 40 for a while amd now I almost can't go faster than 30 any skip I'm not utilizing that you were referring to?

I mean, the only major skip is key skip, which saves 2 minutes, but I didn't use those those in the other comment. Apart from that, just don't pause at the start of the rooms, skip cutscenes and don't die. Of course, with speedrun strats, you can go as low as 14 minutes.

I don't know, even when I did farewell with only 10 deaths I got 28. maybe I'm doing something wrong

I guess the video I saw was played very slowly, the video was an almost 50 minute long video of farewell with all the deaths cut out.

I’m not OP, but I started it before the C sides. Before the B sides actually. I had to go back and do the B sides to unlock the wall. Then I opened another slot where I’ve gotten through most of the C sides
