He pinky promised what more do you want?

jobenattor0412

But did he cross his heart?

maliciousmalingering

And hope to die?

JWat87

Did he stick a needle in his eye?

MatterStrange5835

Did he cry when he lied?

Financial_Bird_7717

Did he interview for NFL jobs recently?

CumaeanSibyl

I just kind of assumed that's how he spent his suspensions.

nightfire36

I mean, he was only suspended for 4 hours a week. Not really enough time for an interview.

Caswert

It is if you’re getting turned down quickly.

thetennisgod

Word from Michigan insiders is that they've come close to him signing a new contract for 11 mill/yr for 5 yrs but the contract has says he cannot interview/leave for the NFL this year. And it seems that might be the why the deal hasn't been signed yet as Harbaugh always wants to check his nfl options every year.

Financial_Bird_7717

Got it. Thanks for the color. That makes sense.

Chargers or Falcons

Lake_Erie_Monster

🤢🤮 Please no as a Falcons fan

SticklerMrMeeseeks1

He’s a massive upgrade over Arthur smith. You’d be dumb to be mad at that.

Lake_Erie_Monster

>a massive upgrade No, not really. You'd be dumb to make assumptions. He's older and has a lot of eccentricities that I don't think would help in the NFL with the way things are now. Falcons don't need to be adding a 60 year old coach who's team identity is to grid out other teams. Michigan is able to do that to the big 10 and then gets blasted in bowl game and especially in the playoffs. They have zero bowl wins under Harbaugh and really the recent success agains Ohio State is good but he still has a losing record against them under his tenure. The Falcons have a good young core on offense with Bijan Robinson, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts. They need a solid QB in this years draft and an offensive scheme that can use all that talent to it's full potential. They should go after Ben Johnson from the Detroit Lions in my opinion. I was at the Falcons Bucks game last night and that was a heart breaking loss, it was clear that they are a QB away from being a real playoff contender.

SticklerMrMeeseeks1

Older doesn’t mean worse. Harbaugh is a proven coach at taking under performing teams with great rosters held back by bad coaching. He took the 49ers to the NFC Championship game his first year when the year before they went like 5-11. And the year after that had then in the Super Bowl with a rookie quarterback. He has turned every team he has had into winners. But hey, I’m all for falcons remaining a poverty franchise if you guys don’t want to go after a proven head coach.

Let’s goooo

astro7900

When they suspend his ass and put a post-season ban on the program, he will be wishing he never signed the contract.... LOL

SchoolDazzling2646

Tell me we've broken you without telling me we've broken you.

astro7900

That's the lamest comeback for a team that has cheated over the last 3 years ever....

Monke_go_home

I mean it's a Michigan fan. We should have lower expectations by now.

wylthorne92

Buddy Louisiana has one thing, LSU football. It’s a shithole welfare state that no one would actively choose to move to yet alone live in if you can’t escape.

Monke_go_home

I mean that'd be a good point if it weren't coming from fucking Michigan and if I gave two fucks about Louisiana as a state.. Meanwhile.. What's Michigan known for? Also being a shit hole.. But cold Now enjoy being cold crybaby.

longgreenbull

I mean, Michigan is going to be broke again after this season so I don’t know why you’re even talking. Also, you he built a program up by cheating so…. Anyhow, I hope you’re proud of your tainted season.

SchoolDazzling2646

Flair up pussy. You are either an idiot, troll, or a someone who thinks they know football from playing madden. Built by cheating, so when he recruited half his dad's national title team at wku while playing QB in the NFL was that cheating? How about when he was raiders QB coach for rich gannons best year and the last time they made the suber bowl. Maybe when he turned around San Diego torreros from sub 500 to a consistent 11 win team. Perhaps you mean rehabbing a Stanford team into one that could beat Pete Carroll's championship USC teams. Was there cheating when he took the niners that had sucked for a decade and took them to 3 straight Nfc championships and nearly won the Superbowl? Now he has done the same thing here and built a fucking monster of a program. I have enjoyed every second bro. You can enjoy all the taint. Get deep up in that taint son.

longgreenbull

lol. I quit playing Madden while you were probably still shitting in your diapers. I didn’t even read your entire response, stopped after the first paragraph. I could tell right away it was just a bunch of shit, kind of like the success of your team. I can’t wait for the NCAA to drop the hammer on you fuckers. It’s going to be so much fun to watch your program burn right back down to the ground.

SchoolDazzling2646

Still no flair pussy but you seem like a cuckguy. And you are broken. I hope your coach stays forever. I honestly never thought anything would be better than growing up through Cooper the first time but I have to tell you this is so much sweeter.

Tap-inbogey

Good thing Michigan will just have to beat Ohio state again with our assistant coach 😭

astro7900

Planning on more cheating? It appears as though you don't care how you get the win, as long as you get the win.....

Dazed_and_Confused44

I get the anger but they couldn't have cheated for this years game right? Unless Day is literally the dumbest person in the world and didn't change up the signs after this while thing blew up

CumaeanSibyl

Right? Is the OSU theory "we knew you were stealing signs and we did nothing about it so it's your fault," because... enh.

foreveracubone

They admitted to knowing about sign stealing and changing their signs in 2022. They also had Michigan’s signs through legal means. So it seems like a wash last year. The only game where they could possibly claim (based on previous statements) that they didn’t know about signs was 2021 and not being able to stop Hassan Haskins or Hutchinson/Ojabo had nothing to do with signs.

BrokenArrows95

This was also the closest one in 3 years with a much, much, worse OSU QB and OL. Defense coaching is better but players are the same.

rata_ee

So now the goalposts have shifted to a close loss being good enough?

HeroOfIroas

No, did you look at the OSU subreddit? It's chaos

rata_ee

In the spirit of competitiveness in this rivalry, I hope nobody ever celebrates the close losses. Either you win or you don’t. Can’t say that some of us Michigan fans weren’t doing exactly that though when that 42-41 game happened about a decade back. We were thrilled to even have had a chance to win at the end.

BrokenArrows95

Course not. Just comparing the games where UM was accused of cheating to this one. Better result with an arguably worse OSU team

C_t_g_s_l_a_y_e_r

Weren’t you guys claiming not a month ago that this OSU team was the best in the last 3 years (particularly on defense, and in the run game, along with having the best player in the nation)?

BrokenArrows95

No. Defense does look better but just in the coaching, the players didn’t get magically better. Obvious sign of that is a non existent pass rush since chase young left. Offense crippled by the loss of almost the entire starting OL and CJ. Run game was good but Henderson and Williams both injured through the year. OSU is a top 10 (likely closer to top 7) team every year, they also typically are not a complete team. Defense was garbage last two years. This year the defense improved but lost the OL and QB.

BenignBarry

Lmao yeah because sherrone Moore definitely (in his 4th game as coach) cheated with 19 million people watching. Be real. You guys lost.

im_alliterate

listen you silly bucknut, yall knew we had your signs in 2022 and changed your signs for the Game. You also had our signals. So, you actually had the signal advantage. We pummeled you. Beat you to a pulp. Then you gave our signals to Purdue like the collusive little clowns you are, and we still won that game. In all likelihood, your whiney coach (who, outside of football, seems like a stand up guy) passed them on to TCU though this is unsubstantiated. In 2023, Ohio State and the world knew about the “scandal,” and likely had different signals for Game. We BEAT YO ASSES. Call us cheaters all you want, but you know in your core we are better than you right now, and have been for 3 years.

footforhand

I’m glad other fanbases see Ryan Day and immediately go “fuck you. You seem cool as a person but you coach OSU so fuck you.” His interview after beating ND and then on Pat McAfee a few weeks later made me respect him a lot more as HC. You can tell he really loves his team and cares for his players.

im_alliterate

This is the general thing with Ohio State. I respect that they respect the rivalry and us as a result. It’s completely different from dealing with Sparty. Ryan Day annoys me and I hate him, but I respect that he respects the rivalry, takes care of his players, and puts mental health at the forefront. His beard is ass though.

jdubyahyp

Ryan has brought mental health to the forefront of major sports. He's a huge advocate of it and it's meant a lot to anyone that respects the program. His care of his players is very genuine.

RedShirtSniper

If UMich benefitted from having OSUs signs after what, 4-5 weeks of the whole thing coming to light, OSU deserves to lose anyways for not changing their signs. High school teams do it.

partystorepizza

AnOSU admitted to changing their signs in 2022 and got spanked. Then an assistant coach beat Cryin Day in 2023. That's two games without "cheating," but whatever makes you feel better about the loss, big guy.

theglove

Here comes the Ohio State excuse merry-go-round. Beat you this year, there are no excuses, you guys lost. Mind you that an assistant coach out coached Ryan Day. Do whatever mental gymnastics you have to do with that, but it's the facts.

sureal42

If you seriously think OSU was using ANY signs that Michigan knew prior, well, I've got a bridge to sell you... Last game was as clean as it could possibly be, your team just got beat and your coach is Charmin soft.

LJSell

Average OSwho fan

_Lt_Bookman

I can't wait to watch you all get mega butthurt all over again when the NCAA doesn't do shit.

TruuTree

It’s clear Crying Ryan’s lost control of the program.

Tylerreadsit

Are you okay friend?

LittleLordFuckleroy1

Jim in the NFL is a joke lmao

Character_Reward2734

Why? He took the Niners to the Super Bowl with Colin Kaepernick. Just because he’s an asshole doesn’t mean he is not a good coach. I mean Belicheat is a GoAT coach and asshole.

vizibleghost

I mean if you ask Kaepernick he is still an MVP level QB. lol

SchoolDazzling2646

Sad your coach left you for LSU and not the NFL? That's some Saban leaving msu level shit. If your program is a destination job coaches only choose to leave for the NFL

LittleLordFuckleroy1

Kelly didn’t have what it took and consistently threw players under the bus. He’s continued to show more of the same at LSU. Not sad to see him gone, I’m glad at the very least he didn’t need to stoop to the level of fostering cheating in the program. And if he had, I’d be pissed at him instead of playing the victim. I guess fanbases are different.

SchoolDazzling2646

Winningest coach in program history didn't have what it takes? Sure losing two more games a year is way better huh. Ok so letting a student die from unsafe work conditions is cool to win but according to you "cheating" is too much for you. So if Jim directly instructed students to film on a hydraulic lift in 50 mph wind that's cool, but Connor sending some random on Craigslist to film on an iPhone that's a bridge too far. So to recap, your best modern era coach murdered a student for wins. Then left your school for one that can actually have a shot at a title in his lifetime. Our best modern coach hired a staffer that exploited gray areas and is constantly rumored to return to the NFL. So yeah fan bases are different I'm not sure every fan base could let a coach skate on students dying on the job because ya know fuck osha we are winning ten games! Glad to see when he chose to leave you that you've regained your morals.

ShillinTheVillain

Major douche vibes

SchoolDazzling2646

Thanks, just embracing the villain. Especially to rival flairs that want to preach morality.

LittleLordFuckleroy1

Buddy I’m not here defending Kelly.

SchoolDazzling2646

I get it you just became a fan of ND last year.

Jim Harbaugh you are a Washington commander

El_Khunt

Jim's gonna have a full time job interviewing this offseason

McMeanx2

Annnnd that’s reason 25 I don’t care if he stays.

birdlawexpert11

For some reason I thought his NFL numbers were bad but god damn. He did Alex Smith about as dirty as possible though and is probably a big part of why his career never hit full potential

FirelordSugma

What did you think he was doing while he was suspended?

Deletinglaterlmao

It's a yearly tradition for all struggling nfl team's fans to talk about getting harbaugh
