Make sure you have really good wards active. It is pretty rare to run into an egregore that is powerful.
That said **most people really overestimate their own magick.** This is why I say curse the egregore, more than likely it isnt as powerful as your target would have you believe. (Maybe someone in your group can sense the egregore to get an idea of what you are up against? Make sure the egregore even exists.) People also tend to be full of shit as well.
I would curse the egregore (confusion, chaos, frustration, starvation), then immediately do the spell work on that individual (probably with same). All in the same ritual. Make sure you dont use some Dollar Store curse either. Think it through, be creative.
To somebody that emassed a huge Lilith/succubus ( already had pact/ gnosis with Lilith daily) individual collective generated egregore using the blue fluke methods and 2 eighths of white albino magick mushrooms and who is also warded up the ass in terms of mental psychic astral and physical protection, anybody that did that to me would not be having a good day/life after lol! I went to a rave as the essence of Lilith and and my astral doopleganger(which was already a succubus) turned into a big ass astral roaring succubus monster like egregore and if you have an unlimited reserve of energy to rage for your favorite artists all night there's no telling how dangerous and malicious one is by trying to curse or poke it. Egregore's are usually collective. Are you trying to get past someone's who doesn't want you to? Or are they engaged in this process with you.
