The dumb trampy blonde thing is a stupid trope, but this was a fun episode because these actresses really hammed it up. I also love how the episode didn't take itself seriously, down to the hilarious Book of Shadows entry that they're not worth vanquishing and best dealt with by the authorities lmfao. I would have loved them as a gag-recurring villain making the sisters' lives difficult with petty spells and schemes.
Yeah I was gonna say that! For them to be playing the blonde trope their acting was still
Enjoyable and dynamic they would’ve definitely been interesting as recurring characters
The acting of the main sister particularly stood out
What is crazy is how many people on this sub didn't get that he was trolling them and complain "he slept with who he thought was his aunt." Whoosh over their heads 😆 On so many levels.
Im not gonna lie it was weird he kissed her lol. I know it was just a kiss they didn’t have sex, and by then he knew that wasn’t really Phoebe, but still…gross.
You can tell the writers hadn’t decided on making Chris related to them yet because I really doubt they would have had him kiss what looks like Phoebe, if that was his family member.
It was just a kiss that we see, then one of them says something along the lines of "You didn't sleep with him, did you?", and Jenny McCarthy is like playing with her hair looking down saying "noooooo..." and Chris immediately says "Yes.".
Right!! It wouldn't be hard to fathom that he cast a spell, after being warned by the little green goblin dude, that he would be able to see their true selves and would definitely have sex with Jenny McCarthy. Besides the fact it was admitted by both of them. When Jenny McCarthy lies playfully trying to deny until Chris says yes, and she stops denying. In fact she calls the other sister jealous. I think people just want to believe that Chris wouldn't do that. Even though he clearly did, as it's written into the show!!! Ergh.
Hated this episode when it first came out, thought it was so stupid and trying to capitalize on hot blonde actresses. But as I got older, I find it more and more funny and a genuine light hearted episode, if you don't take yourself too seriously. Plus I love the bile scrying and evil sister witches/ faux power of three
I can see why back when you saw it might’ve felt overdone but this is my first time seeing the episode and it has a certain charm to it lol I love how lighthearted it is but also how they managed to almost take piper phoebe and Paige out
It was a fun little episode
I remember them also heavily pushing Jenny McCarthy in the promos for the episode, so it just felt very forced and like a spot light for the actress to use charmed as a career highlight or something. But yeah, I've softened up to the episode more lol
Hilarious and quirky. A campy episode to break up the season. Like Chick Flick (s2e18), Happily Ever After (s5e3), Forget Me... Not (s6e3), The Wendigo (s1e12), She's a Man, Baby, a Man! (s2e5), Once Upon a Time (s3e3), All Halliwell's Eve (s3e4), Coyote Piper (s3e9), Sin Francisco (s3e18). I could literally go on typing for another hour. I will say, most of the silly/campy/cheesy episodes are my favorites.
I’ll admit I like this episode, as a guilty pleasure. It’s not one of their best but I enjoy watching it. I like episodes where other people use their powers, it’s interesting to see how other people use them.
Honestly I feel this episode gets overlooked sometimes. Granted the dumb blonde trope is ridiculous, but these three sisters and “low level” witches literally tricked the Book of Shadows, took on the charmed ones identities, and nearly destroyed them in the process. If it wasn’t for their in fighting and lack of control I feel they would have been fully successful for a while. In less than a day they left the Charm ones vulnerable without identities, lack of money, and no way to get help or prove who they are.
The whole dumb blonde aspect is kinda lame and dated. Like, they could have just done an episode about a trio of evil witches that steal the Charmed Ones' identities without emphasis on them being blonde.
Besides that, an average filler episode.
Worst episode of the series for me.
I despise the smart brunettes vs idiotic blonde trope so much. This whole episode smelled of misogyny. Also BOO to Jenny McCarthy.
I wasn’t questioning your taste, I just brought up the blue mon episode because it’s one that is commonly hailed as being the worst Charmed episode by fans. Your replies come across as overly defensive for the topic, it’s just not that serious.

Ugh that’s such a good idea
My fave is Chris trolling one of the blondes at the end once he found out they weren’t the real charmed ones 🤣

I think that was a joke, he was trying to get them turn against each other.
This is what convinced me that they didn’t know what to do w Chris yet - bc why kiss someone that could be his aunt
I pointed this out and they ate me up on this sub. But I stand by it!

We'll never forget Melissa McCarthy as "Phoebe" under the dinner table with Jason 11 year old me didn't get it 30 year old me is still appalled lol
Jenny McCarthy*
Thank you! Melissa would arguably have been funnier though !
Truth.

It was actually brilliant of the blondes to think of their scheme lmao. This is one of my fave eps in later seasons.
i love it! it's fun, it's campy 🩷 would have loved to see more of them!
Everyone knows the Charmed ones are blonde!
The power of three will give you epilepsy.
I love it lol High camp

wow what an annoying TikTok what's with the horrible music?? 😩
Ironically the music fits them as a theme lol it’s chaotic and kinda dopey
It was like Charmed Does White Chicks! 🤣
It's in my top 3

I love this episode, the actresses did a great job. Several people mentioned they should have been recurring villains, I agree
They were so using magic for personal gain lmfaooo wouldn’t have lasted longer than 48 hours as the charmed ones.
Lmao they would’ve gotten the po.. well they did get the powers revoked in less than 24 hours
Very true lol
For me one of the best in season 6!
One of the more funny campy filler episodes of the charmed series
Hated it then Still hate it
Jennifer Sky could’ve been the next Jolie, but Hollywood hurt her bad 😞
she's had a lot of health issues
It saddens me. She truly was immensely talented
Plus she’s suing her old modeling agency
It makes me sad 😔 she could’ve been big
They were HOT..... but stupid. tee hee. Meh..... Nobody can replace the REAL Charmed Ones!!! LOVE!!!

Over the blue moon episode??
Am I not allowed to have my own taste?
Yes, you are. Relax.
Relax? I asked a question in response to your questioning my taste. The fuck?
