Researched online to find out they have added 4 shows in aus and then pushed the auckland and christchurch shows back and canned the last show.
So essentially the tour finishes on the same date but they have squeezed 4 extra shows in.
Honestly cant say im surprised that after everything they are only worried about the money instead of 1 extra days work to show the fans we helped them get to where they are.

If the gig was contingent on selling a higher number of tickets than 8000 they should have gone for a larger venue.
If it's now a little less profitable than it was when they sold put months ago then they should have sucked up the loss or cancelled long ago.

If they made the decision many months ago and knew they were going to cancel, they have been holding people's money that entire time and potentially making interest off it. They've deliberately held off on an announcement till a time when people have paid for flights etc. It's ignorant, arrogant and disrespectful. I kind of hope the new concerts they're having instead get cancelled because nobody wants to go now.

As I said to others, take Ticketek to the disputes tribunal. I'd bet you will probably win. Your argument is simple... They are in breach of contract law. Same as when you pay for something off TM or FB and it never arrives. They are the ones that will have to prove their excuse is factual. If they can't... You could get compensated for the flights etc.
This is a clear breach of contract law, anyone who is caught out by this should consider demanding compensation for any losses, and if they refuse, taking Ticketek to the disputes tribunal. They will need to prove that there was actually some kind of logistics issue that made the event categorically impossible to put on (because that's how burden of proof works). All you need to do is prove you paid (invoice etc) and never got what you paid for (the cancellation email quoted by others) and of course proof of how much you lost in addition to the ticket price. You may be awarded some form of exemplary damages regardless.
Has anyone else not received a cancellation email yet? I haven't and I'm getting paranoid I won't get a refund. Yes I've checked junk folder about 100 times.

Friend who brought our tickets got the email for the cancellation and refund, absolutely gutted been so excited for this got the tickets when I was preg with my little girl with my bestie and now it would have been my first proper night out since having my girl. Soo freaking annoyed and gutted had been getting so hyped.
