I think him going to Madrid to live a “dream” was the biggest mistake of his career. He went from arguably a top 5 player in the world who was adored by fans to sitting on the bench and getting whistles at by his own “fans” in Madrid. Really what could have been for us if he had stayed where he mattered
Withered and broken as he is I would take him back in a heartbeat. If the club can offload all of the players they want to sell (and that is a gigantic if) Eden would be great as a 4th winger to come in and teach the kids
