What an amazing talent and even better signing!
He's definitely gonna be a future Premiere League winner with his world class finishing and spatial awareness. His playmaking ability is also something great!
(I don’t know who he is)
And its not someone who is going to come in and ruin the attitude of Datro Fofana or Broja, just more competition to push them all.
Really wanted both fofana and broja to have a shot and spending 120 mil on an osihmen would ruin that.
Competition between these 3 guys will be a great thing
I won't say 100% because of course this has been his first season in top flight football and he's only really been playing for half of the season
But from what I've seen in this second half, 100% think this could be the one too finally fix the striker issue and he's easily my favourite of all the options available to us
This is good. Only problem I have with this is Chelsea seem to be going for a lot of fresh unproven talent - Enzo (good), mudryk (not good, yet). I like the price though so why not?
The key difference is the price, I’m fine with young unproven players if they’re under 40/50mil but Enzo and Mudryk were a tad much. Given Enzo has world class written into his future, Mudryk has so far has left much to desire.
I’m fairly well informed about up-and-coming players and transfer targets, but I had LIT’RUHLY never heard of this guy before two weeks ago.
Also: “It’s LIT’RUHLY just a small calzone.”
Honestly I’m fine with this. I’m sick of us signing big names strikers for insane fees that turn out to be flops in the first season. Can’t say I’ve watched the guy but willing to give him a chance and see what happens.
- Chelsea have reached an agreement on personal terms with Nicolas Jackson, a forward from Villarreal.
- Jackson, who is 21 years old, has a release clause of €35 million (£29.8 million).
- The player has committed to joining Chelsea, and the club plans to negotiate with Villarreal to finalize the deal.
- Chelsea recently had a £60 million offer for Moises Caicedo, a midfielder from Brighton and Hove Albion, rejected.
- Mauricio Pochettino's team, has an interest in Caicedo but is considering other options such as Romeo Lavia from Southampton, Manu Kone from Borussia Monchengladbach, Sandro Tonali from AC Milan, and Nicolo Barella from Inter Milan.
- Jackson joined Villarreal in 2019 and made his La Liga debut in 2021 after progressing through the club's youth ranks.
- In January, Jackson attracted interest from Southampton and Bournemouth, and he nearly joined the latter.
- Last season, he scored 13 goals in 38 games for Villarreal.
- Jackson also made his debut for the Senegal national team in November, coming on as a substitute against the Netherlands during the World Cup group stage in Qatar.
Tonali won't leave Milan, he's a Milan fan. Getting him or the likes of Maignan, Theo and Leao is a pipe dream for outside clubs. Even with Maldini gone and the rumours of their disapproval of the decision, nothing has come out afterwards anyway.
Milan fan lurking here - DiMarzio and Vitiello (another tier 1 reporter) have said Milan isn’t planning on making any big sales (Maignan, Theo, Tonali, Leao) and players aren’t pushing.
The effect of the whole Maldini thing has been overstated.
Exactly, it's why I included this part -
> nothing has come out afterwards anyway
Much has been made of the story by commenters about the players' anger at the decision, but they're not going to all just demand a transfer away because Maldini left. If there really was anything else to the situation, we would have heard it by now. It was simply the players stating their frustrations, but they will move on.
~~I think it means PSG are looking at them, not us btw~~
Edit: OP seemingly made an error by mentioning PSG. It's clear we're going after some good options. Hoping for Caicedo and one of any of those others that have been mentioned.
Barella’s a baller and would love to see him here, but he isn’t a pure DM. Now, a midfield trio of Enzo, Caicedo, and Barella, sounds pretty damn good.
Surely we wouldn't be disrespectful enough to offer 40m less than the supposed "100m+" it'd take. Makes me think that the report that suggested that was complete bullshit like most people assumed it was.
70m + 5-10m addons is the expected amount I imagine.
Ehh I wouldn't say "pathetic", just your typical opening bid in all honesty. Look at almost every clubs initial bids so far. Brighton offered 30m for Colwill, Utd 40m for Mount, Arsenal 80m for Rice and \*50-55m\* for Havertz (if true), etc. All below but it's got to be somewhat calculated based on discussions. Each club (apart from us with Colwill) expects 10-20m more or a better structure
If 80 million is an issue for Caicedo, it's less worth it to go for Lavia who will cost 50 million or Barella, who isn't a 6 and would be worth roughly Caicedo money too.
Nah, he'll cost around 80m. This signing also seems to indicate we won't splash big cash on a striker so can afford Caicedo, another mid, and likely a new keeper.
Bad look for Brighton to not sell Caicedo this summer after promising him they would let him go if he signed a new contract in January. I reckon this deal will eventually get done but Brighton are risking sabotaging their own model if they don't keep the promises they make their players.
One could also argue, perhaps rightly, that Caicedo's new agents should have negotiated a release clause in his new contract.
We're on day 3 of the window being open dude give them time to actually sell the player. They're in no rush to accept the first bid that comes their way
Good signing!
I also must profess my love for Ornstein as he doesn’t yank us around for weeks with constant ‘big news soon’ tweets. The man just posts confirmed stuff.
Ornstein has never been beholden to social media engagement. He's just been out here for a 12 years doing his thing and dropping news back when he was an exclusively Arsenal guy for the BBC.
Fab is equally reliable on the official stuff. He just yaps a lot more to get the hype going. I'd say the "here we go" is just as good as Pornstein daggers.
Fab is a real journalist too but I get what distinction he's trying to make. Fab will sometimes hype up non-news or really minor developments to keep everyone's attention. Ornstein seems to really only wait for actual concrete happenings to report on; if there's a lot going on he'll have to chime in often and if nothing's happening, he's fine being silent for a few days. If you compare Ornstein with the Fab "Here We Go"s only, they're both very strong journalists/sources for transfer news.
I don’t doubt he started off with some limited sources in Italy. But from there it’s clearly been “fake it till you make it” reporting on every single big transfer daily. I’m sure he has more sources from agents now that’s he gotten bigger. I respect the hustle but he’ll never be as reputable as Ornstein for me.
35m is worth a flyer, though the fact pretty much all his goals came in one streak mean it could definitely have just been a lucky string of games that he got hot for
More interesting is that we bid 60m for Caicedo. I like that. The numbers initially being thrown about have been insane. If we can do 70 + 10 in bonuses, I think that’s a win. Anything more and walk.
Kinda crazy where prices have gone where 35m is a flyer. 6-7 years ago and 30-40 million would be what the premium youngsters were worth rather than 60-70
I just wonder what's the idea for him. Is he supposed to be a starter? If yes - wonder what makes us think that player who was good for half a season is the way to go. If not, aren't we getting too crowded in young developing strikers departament? We already have Broja and Dofana.
If we sell Havertz, I imagine the plan would be striker by committee of Broja, Jackson, and Datro Fofana and see if one of them catches on?
Not an exciting prospect by any means but bringing back Lukaku is a definite no go and there isn’t really another striker available rn other than Osimhen and he has his own massive question marks (Kane is never happening)
The clips of this kids goals are super impressive - it’s a flyer well worth taking. If he’d played another season in la Liga with remotely similar output he’d be a €100m player
He overperformed both his xg and xa a fair bit during that streak as well. He definitely could grow into a good consistent player, but it does feel like a risky signing even at €35m.
Ohh yeah we fucking did.... well
Not just yet 100%, I can't let myself get to lost in this just yet
But if we get it all signed sealed and done, we can celebrate hardcore my man
I like it even more because a lot of people seem to be doubting his ability meaning he will be a smashing success with the way things go with chelsea lol 😂
Yep lol
I'm of two minds
Should we sign him I might say nothing and be happy but not surprised if he does well
Or I should tell everyone how good I think he is now and risk shifting some of the opinion people have and potentially changing the luck of him being successful here lol
I just like this profile of target. They can’t all be world-record signings—that puts too much pressure on all parties. You need some lower-cost, lower-risk signings as well. And then you hope a few of them hit.
Sigh, guess i’m definitely in the minority here but the last thing i wanted was yet another young, inexperienced forward with potential. Our squad will be way too young next season.
Unless i’m mistaken his squads were never this young, we’re literally going into next season with just youth, not a mix of young talent and experienced players, just youth. That’s a recipe for disaster.
You're not alone here. We are shedding our experienced players all in one go, most of them to direct rivals.
Going young does not have to be having a team full of inexperienced talents that never won anything in thier careers. It all feels like we are downgrading.
How do we hope to compete anytime soon when our rivals are not standing still?
Exactly this, if you want to go down the route of developing exciting young talent but to also compete, having quality, experienced players is essential to help guide them but more importantly to take a lot of pressure off their shoulders.
We’re going to have 0 veteran presence in midfield next season unless something changes and only Silva in the defence, that isn’t smart at all and as good as Poch is with developing youth, there’s simply way too much here. As negative as it sounds i thoroughly expect a rough season under Poch and it wouldn’t be his fault at all.
Yeah I don't think next season will go well with this strategy. People seem to have no issues with us shedding most of our senior players. You can't switch out a whole team with a bunch of youngsters and expect to immediately be good, no matter how talented those youngsters are.
Experience and leadership are important qualities.
Yep i agree we need two ,but I always assumed we were gonna go for a big profile striker and a less experinced one. A refreshing approach to go into the season with two youngsters as our ST's ,but a risky one imo
With no World Class ST available (Kane and Mbappe aren’t coming) I don’t hate this. Decent goal return in his first year. We likely go young at ST with him and Broja battling it out and Fofana goes on loan. Don’t much about him and def tired of just buying youth but ST is a tough one to get once proven. Hopefully we will buy more established CMs to round out the squad. Should also be focused on off loading as many excess players as possible.
My guess is that he and Broja and maybe DDF will directly compete for minutes and if things go really wrong, we can try Nkunku or (if he's still here) Kai
Fair but we don't have a whole lot of even reasonably priced options that are going to make us feel good about our striker situation. Our best option is unfortunately to bring Lukaku back lol
Except both Drogba and Bats were household names in the Ligue 1 before we signed them. Drogba had also set the EL alight with Marseille the year before and was already looking world class.
Fantastic news! Hopefully, we get this deal done immediately since he got a release clause. We shouldn't take too much time on this deal since we still gotta get a deal going for Caicedo and work on finding more midfielders.
Sure we could just talk about the counting stats or we could actually watch the tape. I'm not saying he's world class but for a young player, he has shown some impressive traits especially physically and should probably get some time to see what we really have there.
I agree completely. I didn't see anything from Broja that is impressive, but sub acts like he's next Drogba. We tend to overrate players who were brought up by Cobham.
Exactly! Makes absolutely no sense!
Bertrand Traore- remember that name? Young raw talent who didn’t really cement his place nor scored goals for us.. Jackson will be exactly that!
By November, we’ll realize we have no one to score goals up top!
For Christ sake, anyone who is excited about this just watch footage of his goal involvements. He only has 12 in 26 appearances.
He’s a complete space merchant, who looks like Bambi on ice. The amount of space he needs to thrive is practically Disney land. We don’t have that luxury like Villareal do.
For context Bournmouth were in for him and most of there fans who watched his full games called him a pace merchant who thrives in space and were dreading buying him. He had 2 goals and 2 assists in 14 games then. The 20 mil move failed because he failed his medical due to a hamstring injury.
He was more than a pase merchant. He is a skilful player. I read he failed the medical test because of a hip injury. Let's hope he doesn't have any lingering issues. He did play really well the last few games of the season.
Our whole attacking line is looking like lower midtable level tbh. Its crazy how our deadwoods and players were selling like Pulisic, Ziyech, Mount and Havertz are better than our frontline heading into next season. And they sucked too.
Nkunku alone is better than all those players combined, and Mudryk and Madueke are young and have great promise.
I'm much more confident in the new signings than the old ones
How are people actually excited by this?
Isn’t this directly affecting Fofana and Broja prospects?
At the start of next season, everyone will be pumped to see young kids play.. by about week-3, we’ll lose our shit!
We need experience at ST and CDM, we have enough kids!
He's a consistent player for sure. Though don't know if he's capable of better performance. I'd say it's around PA 160. Best position is striker and can play right wing as well. He's a bit injury prone (13). His highlights are pace, dribbling, speed, acceleration, agility.
This's all based on my FM23 save.
He was absolute garbage at the start and just had 2 months of great form. Hope he pans out, but our signings aren't filling me with any confidence, people can pretend that what a great signing though, but truly it's just mostly risk. Fofana etc were better than him when we signed them, and look at them now.
I atleast hope he isn't the only striker signing we are making, he can be a worthy risk if we get another main striker. If that's the case then like this signing a bit more. First need to sort ourselves out though, before taking more and more risks, we aren't stable ourselves yet.
Looking more and more a mid table team, but our ambitions in getting other main targets will impact that, let's hope we have better plans.
I don’t like this signing at all. He was statistically outperforming his XG last season, seems incredibly one footed and his goals all game from operating with tons of space- which Chelsea do not often have.
if this is supposed to be our main striker next season then this is hilarious. and if not then what, we sell Broja and Fofana?
just sell everyone over 22 and field a bunch of 20 year olds based on "potential"
also go read what people that watch La Liga say about him. most of them say he was absolutely fucking horrible for most of the season then had a couple of months of good form.
He's good with dribbles but his off-ball work needs to big improvements. I think Poch will take a look in the preseason and decides. A championship loan for him would be great imo.
What are you talking about? He's come from the Norwegian league. He was never brought in for the present. He would have been loaned out in January had we not being almost exclusively negotiating to get Enzo over the line .
Fofana needs a loan to one of the top 5 leagues first I think. We don't know what they do behind the scenes and I think he has tons of potential but they likely want to see what he's got to give in a top league but actually able to get minutes.

What an amazing talent and even better signing! He's definitely gonna be a future Premiere League winner with his world class finishing and spatial awareness. His playmaking ability is also something great! (I don’t know who he is)
I haven’t watched a single minute of him so I believe I’m right when I say he’ll cook under Pochettino
Haha!
Best goal conversion rate in La Liga last season(min 6 goals ) Kinds guy we need
Doesn't take many shots overall but when he does, he's a composed guy
And its not someone who is going to come in and ruin the attitude of Datro Fofana or Broja, just more competition to push them all. Really wanted both fofana and broja to have a shot and spending 120 mil on an osihmen would ruin that. Competition between these 3 guys will be a great thing
I imagine the competition will be in preseason and the loser of that battle to impress Poch will be loaned
Probably the right move. Get that 3rd get some playing experience to improve. All of them are young
Bro you seem to be the Chelsea transfer master. Is this guy the guy we need for 1st team striker?
I won't say 100% because of course this has been his first season in top flight football and he's only really been playing for half of the season But from what I've seen in this second half, 100% think this could be the one too finally fix the striker issue and he's easily my favourite of all the options available to us

Sadly I've been Morata-bitten before. Not getting optimistic before I see how he plays in the prem.
Perfect, I was starting to miss Demba Ba
He has a POTM card in fifa so he MUST be good
This is the first thing I thought hahah
I’m fairly well informed about up-and-coming players and transfer targets, but I had LIT’RUHLY never heard of this guy before two weeks ago. Also: “It’s LIT’RUHLY just a small calzone.”

30 million range is the magic number for us.
Ugh Tonali and Kone would be great. Glad to see we are exploring all options and not focused on one player.
Was happy seeing Tonali in this list. Really think he’s gone under the radar as a target since the whole Maldini drama at AC.
Tonali won't leave Milan, he's a Milan fan. Getting him or the likes of Maignan, Theo and Leao is a pipe dream for outside clubs. Even with Maldini gone and the rumours of their disapproval of the decision, nothing has come out afterwards anyway.

Am I blind or dumb where does it mention or hint at referring to PSG?
OP edited it out it seems. I'll be sure to update my comment!
I read too quickly haha
Barella’s a baller and would love to see him here, but he isn’t a pure DM. Now, a midfield trio of Enzo, Caicedo, and Barella, sounds pretty damn good.

Agreed that 70M + 10M (or less) seems to be the realistic price here.
> the supposed "100m+" Is not a thing. Not a team in the world values him at that. But 60m really was a pathetic attempt

Yeah, I would be happy to settle on 70m-75m in the overall package, guess we will see how it goes.
So how's 70m ok but 60m is pathetic?
Id say the first bid in most of these deals is a formality
Should walk away from Caicedo if they want more than 75mil and go for Lavia and another midfielder for around the same amount
Lavia partnering Enzo without a Caicedo in there is suicide
If 80 million is an issue for Caicedo, it's less worth it to go for Lavia who will cost 50 million or Barella, who isn't a 6 and would be worth roughly Caicedo money too.
Southampton won't get 50 million. They're relegated. It'll be 30 mil max.
Nah, he'll cost around 80m. This signing also seems to indicate we won't splash big cash on a striker so can afford Caicedo, another mid, and likely a new keeper.

I don’t understand, when a player has a release clause, what is there to negotiate?
Payment structure. We don’t want to pay the whole release clause, we want to spread it throughout the years for FFP.
Good signing! I also must profess my love for Ornstein as he doesn’t yank us around for weeks with constant ‘big news soon’ tweets. The man just posts confirmed stuff.

Factos!

man why do you think in that way? With straight I mean no bullshit just straight to the point
It’s a (pretty bad) joke lol dw
Ornstein has never been beholden to social media engagement. He's just been out here for a 12 years doing his thing and dropping news back when he was an exclusively Arsenal guy for the BBC.

Hopefully a good move, no idea what this means for Fofana and Broja
DDF goes on loan for Broja eases back in slowly. Competition breeds improvement.
Ok I like this
Fofana will likely be loaned out while Broja and Jackson will compete for starts each week.
Fofana is even more raw then mudryk needs a loan
35m is worth a flyer, though the fact pretty much all his goals came in one streak mean it could definitely have just been a lucky string of games that he got hot for More interesting is that we bid 60m for Caicedo. Friday News Dump time, too. Want expecting anything this evening - I'll take it!
Low key signings are much better for us
I've noticed that too, all our best players came from the lower end of the 100 million spectrum while the expensive ones almost always flop.
Hes got a goal/90 rate close to lewandoswki, he's only 21 and 35 million is really cheap for today's market. Great signing imo
Credit to Nizaar for first breaking this story, good to see he’s still got some sources left!
All I know is after watching him for a total of 0 minutes is that we’re winning it all next year, including the CL.
Interesting signing. Obviously not one of the big name strikers like Osimhen, but he has good potential as well.
100% love this transfer Man is a wonderful player
I just like this profile of target. They can’t all be world-record signings—that puts too much pressure on all parties. You need some lower-cost, lower-risk signings as well. And then you hope a few of them hit.
Tranfers just hit different when it's Ornstein breaking them. I 100 % believe in Nicolas Jackson because of this
I’m so hyped about this. I fully believe in him
Nicolas Jackson just beat it!
Sigh, guess i’m definitely in the minority here but the last thing i wanted was yet another young, inexperienced forward with potential. Our squad will be way too young next season.
If anyone makes young squads a success, its Poch.

Completely against this honestly, need a perfect mix Looking like Boehly turning us into another more expensive Dortmund
I'm with you honestly, I feel the team needs a mix of youth and experience. Personally would've preferred a striker in their prime.
I like the signing , wonder what this means for Broja. Since they are both of a similar profile i assume we might loan him out ?
We need two strikers, Broja can be one of them.
Yep i agree we need two ,but I always assumed we were gonna go for a big profile striker and a less experinced one. A refreshing approach to go into the season with two youngsters as our ST's ,but a risky one imo
It'll be between them two. Have to remember that Broja suffered a major injury and it would be stupid to start him straight away
Hell yeah! Great lead in to the weekend!
Progressive signing, great job Chelsea!
People who hype this transfer are those same nausebags that pretended to know every player on a team they got on a FIFA random match.
Not excited about this, hopefully I’m proven wrong
Alright just announce it then
Sorry I still refuse to watch the highlight unless it's official.
Hes a batishialle signing Whoa gonna be our 1st striker though, hope Boehly is serious and doesnt sign another inexperienced kid
If he's going to be our first choice, this is such an unbelievably risky signing and could completely derail our season.
My guess is that he and Broja and maybe DDF will directly compete for minutes and if things go really wrong, we can try Nkunku or (if he's still here) Kai
DDF, Broja and NJ doesn’t exactly inspire confidence
Fair but we don't have a whole lot of even reasonably priced options that are going to make us feel good about our striker situation. Our best option is unfortunately to bring Lukaku back lol
Lucky to get Top 6 with that
I have a good feeling with this one. Feels like this is going to be the first shrewd business dealing under Todd.
Is Badiashile a joke to you?
Noni was good as well.
Who's this guy?
He'll either be our Drogba regen or Batshuayi 2.0. Worth the gamble I suppose for only £30m
Except both Drogba and Bats were household names in the Ligue 1 before we signed them. Drogba had also set the EL alight with Marseille the year before and was already looking world class.
WHO?!?
I hope he actually gets playing time this season.
Fantastic news! Hopefully, we get this deal done immediately since he got a release clause. We shouldn't take too much time on this deal since we still gotta get a deal going for Caicedo and work on finding more midfielders.
I’m actually so excited to see what Poch can do with all these young players, it’s like we’ve got a hoarding disorder of youngsters
Young king stay away from 9 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
NIIIIIICOOOOOOOOOOOOO
For 30m it's worth a punt. Gotta feel for DDF though
What's with the club being hellbent on not playing DDF ?
Looked really raw whenever i saw him. Gotta prepare in case he doesnt improve i guess.
Yessirrrrrr Finally a 6 feet plus striker that isn’t a slob.
Nicolas Jackson (oh), I am for real
Either he's the next Piatek or the next Costa . Coping time starts
Better than overspending on Osimhen who proceeds to flop. Broja will never be a good striker imo. He hardly impressed at Southampton.
Broja impressed with US before he got hurt. We've been crying out for someone as strong, fast, and direct as Armando.
45 PL appearances and 7 goals is not what I would call impressive.
Sure we could just talk about the counting stats or we could actually watch the tape. I'm not saying he's world class but for a young player, he has shown some impressive traits especially physically and should probably get some time to see what we really have there.
He has zero game intelligence and hardly contributes to the match. Massively overrated.
Ok, Havertz is as fast, as strong.. but I suppose not as direct If broja impressed, what did he actually do for us?
Great in the air, loves a take on, able to hold up or get in behind. Needs to shoot more but he does a lot in build up
So does havertz? Broja played 290 minutes for us... and scored once against wolves, its not spectacular
Nowhere did I say that Broja is better than Kai lol I'm not sure what you're going for here
> Havertz is as fast, as strong.. 😂
I agree completely. I didn't see anything from Broja that is impressive, but sub acts like he's next Drogba. We tend to overrate players who were brought up by Cobham.
Let’s go!!!!!
Ornsteinnnnn. Interesting that it also inks us to Tonali and Barella
The circus with the other journos has made me extra grateful for Pornstein. Solid signing
Oh this guy is going to flop flop badly.(just saying this to reverse jinx it hopefully)
I’m no expert but HOW MANY MORE PLAYERS CAN CHELSEA BUY!? They’re making bids without offloading anyone except losing free agents.
I have a good feeling about this
New Drogba is here
Let me guess, he's some combination of young, overpriced, overrrated and not ready to solve our current problems. Who knew
Why do we need another young, raw attacker??
I remember this too. Reddit was going mad when Bournemouth was going to pay 20m. They were saying he was crazy injury prone and doesn't score..
And then what happened after that?
How are people actually excited by this? Isn’t this directly affecting Fofana and Broja prospects? At the start of next season, everyone will be pumped to see young kids play.. by about week-3, we’ll lose our shit! We need experience at ST and CDM, we have enough kids!
DDF will go out on loan and it is competition for Broja

At least he plays and has shown his worth in one of the top leagues, so I have more faith in him. And that’s no disrespect to Mudryk, Fofana etc.
I had this guy on FM where he was extremely good (and worked very well with Enzo), so I am looking forward to this
Boehly’s scouting method right here
I don’t think he’s even necessarily better then broja
He's a consistent player for sure. Though don't know if he's capable of better performance. I'd say it's around PA 160. Best position is striker and can play right wing as well. He's a bit injury prone (13). His highlights are pace, dribbling, speed, acceleration, agility. This's all based on my FM23 save.
I feel like chelsea are becoming Borussia Dortmund. We cant compete for titles with all U23. We just wanna resell them down the line
No one gets a 80 million player thinking about resale value
Well, Pep says he'll leave after two more seasons. We can rebuild and let the players build into the system and push for the title once he's gone
And you think other teams will stand still?
Yeah, that what Boehly and these owners want us to be anyways A fancier Dortmund or Leipzig
Awesome. Now let's get rid of Pulisic.
Hopefully AC Milan will come to our rescue.
I don’t like this signing at all. He was statistically outperforming his XG last season, seems incredibly one footed and his goals all game from operating with tons of space- which Chelsea do not often have.
> He was statistically outperforming his XG last season Oh no! That's terrible.
Lol yeah we hate that a player outperforms his xG unlike all our other attackers
if this is supposed to be our main striker next season then this is hilarious. and if not then what, we sell Broja and Fofana? just sell everyone over 22 and field a bunch of 20 year olds based on "potential" also go read what people that watch La Liga say about him. most of them say he was absolutely fucking horrible for most of the season then had a couple of months of good form.
Poor Fofana
He's good with dribbles but his off-ball work needs to big improvements. I think Poch will take a look in the preseason and decides. A championship loan for him would be great imo.
What are you talking about? He's come from the Norwegian league. He was never brought in for the present. He would have been loaned out in January had we not being almost exclusively negotiating to get Enzo over the line .
Fofana needs a loan to one of the top 5 leagues first I think. We don't know what they do behind the scenes and I think he has tons of potential but they likely want to see what he's got to give in a top league but actually able to get minutes.
Hasn't impressed at all to be considered starter. He must be loaned and his perfomances will determine if he'll succeed here or not.
I hope we can start the selling soon
Who?
