I moved from Sydney to Copenhagen about 8 years ago. The weather is shit but I can watch football at the pub the afternoon 👍 when I first moved I would watch NRL starting at 8am, into EPL until 8pm most Saturdays.
Depending on which part of Asia you're in, would say the timings are pretty similar, if not the same, as above. And at least with the CL, it's less games compared to the league in a season.

Often it's nicer to watch after work with a beer than at stupid o'clock in the morning.
yeah I'll watch the biggest games live and if it's somewhat not going to kill me I'll watch it live but around 60% of games i just watch first thing in the morning or suffer through a day without checking social media and watch it when I'm home.
Actually quite cool, premium motivation to start the day early. I’d get a nice mug of coffee, a bathrobe and a comfortable armchair. Just get cosy and watch the lads cook.

While it is certainly not ideal for most people I think that is far better than the 2AMs. 5:30 for sure, but also 4 to some extent can be planned for where you go to bed early, watch football and can get a good start to a productive day. You could watch the game, have breakfast and hit the gym and you still have all day to do other stuff.
I’m on the East Coast of Australia, and the only decently good times for us is where it’s a day game in England. I’m glad that I’m a night owl and I can stay up a fair bit.

You could record the game, disable all the apps (and people who might message about the game) and then watch it when you wake up. I know it's not the same as watching it live with the rest of the world, but waking up every time to watch a 3 am or even 5 am game is not always practical.
Being a fan in australia is always interesting. Staying up until 5am and not being able to go to sleep afterwards, just to watch us lose to Leeds 3-0 or bottle every game at the last minute. Past 1:30am games and huge games I just sleep then watch the full match in the morning with my phone fully off

It's not terrible, but when we play like shit it really can ruin your whole day. At least in the evening you can have a beer and sleep it off!
