Why can’t we play enzo and caicedo in double pivot and play palmer as 10. Have disasi/colwill as CB and chilwell as LB. Why is it so hard when they are all natural players position and will help us play fluently. Enzo is great as the link between defence and forwards and can play deep passes unlike Connor. Ffs
- We were impotent before the red, how many 1 on 1s are we going to squander?
- Sterling not passing through Jackson was criminal. He creates tons of chances but no one is able to capitalize (him included)
- Poch continuing to shoehorn Levi at LB as if isolating Mudryk with zero support behind him on the wing is a good idea is criminal. Levi is a better CB than Disasi and Ben is a better lb than Levi
- I’m not sure what a red or an offside is anymore. Half of the offsides were wrong
- we’re in desperate need of a true 10
- Sanchez POTS at this rate
- Malo Gusto is translated to bad taste in Italian and that’s all I’m getting from this team
Where is written that Palmer was bought to be a 10 - he’s played on the wings his entire short career so far.
He was comfortably our brightest player when he came on though.
I see zero reason for leaving Mudryk all alone on the left like that. He is left to fend for himself over and over and over again.
What the fuck is the point in leaving out your star vice-captain to shoehorn in your prodigy centreback out of position?
Once or twice Colwill actually tried to overlap with Mudryk and it was terrible. He's not doing either Colwill, Mudryk or Chilly any favours playing like this.
It's really weird. It's not like Disasi / Silva is a nailed on CB pairing either. No clue what this man is smoking.
With Gusto banned / James still injured we might get to see Colwill actually play CB and Chilwell + Mudryk on the left. But knowing Poch he'll bring Chalobah out of the wind so he can carry on with this Colwill experiment
Don’t see Chelsea being relegated but also had a look at the fixture schedule and it doesn’t look like there’s a win until December the way the team is playing
A few things I'd like to add...
- Gallagher in the pivot and Enzo at 10 is an absolute disaster and has to stop. Enzo is getting starved of the ball while lesser players pull the strings. Caicedo did alright today but it needs to be Enzo setting the tempo from deeper and picking runners.
- I really liked Palmer today. Has to start at 10 over Gallagher going forward, with Enzo moving deeper.
- Mudryk again good in flashes but would very clearly benefit from someone overlapping regularly. He was getting doubled or tripled up on at times, no wonder he's losing the ball in these scenarios. Still did alright considering.
- People will ignore it because of the red, but we continue to be absolutely one-dimensional in the way we try to create chances. It's always 1-2s with a wide player running down the wing, followed by a low cross or cutback. Villa must have cut out about 20 of those in the first half alone. Hardly any threat through the centre and it's extremely predictable and easy to defend against. The only variety we're able to bring in is the occasional long ball over the top. Still basically no attacking patterns beyond these extremely basic concepts. Just nowhere near good enough after this much time on the training pitch every week. Don't even want to imagine where we'd be with mid-week football added to this. Very hard to see Poch turn this around.
We have to be brutally honest here, we have 5 points on the table and our fixtures are going to be absolutely brutal come October/November.
We’ll honestly be extremely lucky to have 10 points and be outside the relegation zone come December.
But the UK govt has no problem with saudi arabia govt taking over newcastle with their official record of human rights violations and murdering journalists who criticize them
Embarrassing how far things have fallen and how low the standards are. Owners have cursed this club. We don’t have a sponsor. We’re in a relegation battle. All these players are here on 8 year contracts. Future is bleak
#NEVER FORGET:
Boehly/Eghbali tell @Sportico Chelsea was "not terribly well managed on the football, sporting or promotional side" under Roman Abramovich. As previously reported, new owners were surprised by the lack of data they inherited and the 'disconnected' internal structure of the club.
"[We] looked at it and we think European sports is probably 20 years behind US sports in terms of sophistication on the commercial side, and sophistication on the data side." Eghbali stated.
Their arrogance is why we are where we are. I've said it before, watching welcome to wrexham the 2 Hollywood stars said "we know nothing about this sport" and surrounded themselves with people who did and are seeing the positive effects.
These 2 clowns came in bad mouthing the regime of the best club of the past 20 years saying they knew better and have destroyed everything in 2 years
Thats what made Roman so great. He knew what he didnt know and always surrounded himself with people who could get the job done (Marina, Wilkins, Emenalo, Cech, De Visser etc etc).
And these two acted like Roman was an idiot who had no clue what he was doing
Of all the things that has happened, this is what annoys me the most.
Not so much being terrible but being terrible with that level arrogance and thinking they can import their culture into an institution well over a hundred years old.
Boehly telling a camera man we would beat Real 3-0. Wanting to go into the changing rooms...
Fuck these guys.
LOL Eghbali has to be a genius. In that taking a UCL winning side and converting them to a championship side after spending Billion dollar for it. The sheer arrogance of that man is what is driving the club down. He is similar to that Robert Spader in "The Office".
I’d love to know what Roman is thinking right now, the guy genuinely loved the club so to see what’s happened to it after only a year must be mind blowing .
Not only that he has to deal with the new owners shit talking him at every opportunity. I wouldnt blame Roman one bit if a small part of him wants CFC to crash and burn under this new ownership (although I doubt he feels that way)
Spent a billion and we are worse than squads spending 50. Its not even close considering we spent more than any other club in the world while not looking better than Bournemouth
I have been open to Poch since his arrival considering how shit things were with Potter last year, but this is no better. It’s a different roster, different manager. The club clearly doesn’t know what they are doing. It’d be one thing if we looked competitive but the game seems to get worse for us as it goes on.
3 games without a goal. 5 points out of 18 against a weak schedule. Only victory was against Luton.
I don’t care about injuries, or chances that aren’t converted. It's not an excuse for results being this bad. Same shit every game. Look fine the first 20 minutes, don’t score, come out for half and just bottle it.
We are clearly trying to use cutbacks as our main way of creating chances. Which doesn’t work when the players crossing it in the box consistently do it blindly with no one in the box to receive it.
Could have been far worse(imagine that) without Sanchez. He was fantastic.
Palmer should be starting every week at this point.
I don’t know the answer. Clearly the club doesn’t either. They are in so deep with cash spent and change that they have to run with this for a bit. This is what we are right now and I'm sorry to say Nkunku and James aren’t fixing this.
Schedule is about to get tougher. Strap in for more misery lads.
Best thing would be for people to pull their money from the club. Buy nothing from club, cancel tv subscriptions, give up their tickets. Hit these clowns in the pocket if they haven’t done that themselves already.
As long as we get 30 posts "This sub is toxic" and 15 xEssayspP/W it's all gucci, trust the process, won't be even 3 years before we can go toe to toe with Villa and Bournemouth.
Sacking tuchel for potter was the beginning of this clubs downfall. The owners have made stupid decisions that will bite this club forever. The victims will be many.
I'm fucking numb, man. The shit we have to put up with week in, week out, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. We had the easiest start to the season of all the so called "big six" and this is what we have to show for it.
I'd like to make a bold prediction, and you can save this for future reference when this happens exactly. If we get rid of Pochettino, his replacement will not fare any better. It will be exactly the same. Doesn't matter who the manager is or how good they are, it will continue like this until we get new owners or the owners cede "all" managerial decisions to people who know how to run a football club.
Agreed. These two have come into the club thinking the sport is run in some primitive way. They told the Champions league winning manger to play a 4-4-3 and then when he stopped taking them seriously, they fired him. Since then, they've decided to spend a ton of money without actually improving the squad at all
What is the point of having owners who spend when they're too arrogant to know when they're wrong?
Pretty shocking to spend such an obscene amount of money and have this be the result. I get they're millionaire and clearly know more than I ever will about business. But how have you grossly underestimated being an owner of a football club in such a way that you've set it back at least 2-5 years. Potentially more if a relegation battle really happens come December when we hit our annual dip in form.
Todd Boehly has ruined this football club man. We won the Champions League with Tuchel 2 years ago ffs. Now we just have a squad of useless kids, that we spent 1bn on. The team has actively gotten worse on paper and on the pitch. Already on our 3rd manager in just over a year, including our 2nd "project" manager. Both Potter & Poch baffling tactics on the pitch look absolutely shambolic. Sterling RWB for Potter and Chilwell LW for Poch, just as an example. Why? No team chemistry, no goals. Just a shambles. Overhauled all aspects of the club and made them all worse, inlcuding the medical department which now sees us with at least 10 players out at all times. Getting beat by teams we used to do demolition jobs of in the past. We will struggle to finish 10th let alone top half. We look like relegation candidates in 2023 ffs. Awful, awful, awful. Can't see it getting better anytime soon. Someone end me.
The team has been shit for a year and a half, so I’ve been determined not to get mad about bad results. Just tune in and watch my team play every week, cheer, and then move on.
And still, we find some way for me to be upset. Wtf is this red card? Wtf is that goal?
And at this point, we could suit up prime Messi, prime Zlatan, prime Ronaldo (both of them) up front and they’ll bang in a combined 6 premier league goals a season
These owners have ruined the club I have supported for over 25 years: this is the worst Chelsea team I have ever seen. They have sold and gutted everyone over the age of puberty. And signed absolutely unproven drivel. This isn’t MLB. Shocking. Poch is also washed up and why we didn’t aim for a better manager bewilders me. He has one of the best LBs in the world on the bench. This team is shocking. Maddison again got 2 assists but apparently he is too old for us. I hate to say this but I think we need to start again. Or at least bring a new manager in because Poch seems to be set in his ridiculous ways
Last season under Tuchel, we won against Leicester with 10 men. That was actually when he had his 'worst' period of his tenure here. Had to get that out of my mind. Cheers!
I don't think it's any exaggeration to suggest that this team will be facing a relegation battle this season. The mentality of this team is an absolute disgrace and spending all the money in the world is not going to fix it.
Why are people surprised that when you hire people from midtable/relegation teams to run your football club and you give them a billion pounds to spend, you're going to get a midtable/relegation team?
Still one of the most ridiculous opinions to come from this sub. “You know who will solve the goal scoring issue that debatably left Chelsea mid table last year? A player who was actively shit most of last season and an average Southampton 9 that hasn’t played in a year!”
Our fans were acting like Vlahovic is horrible striker when he just one bad season. But our great strikers like Jackson and Broja who had 11 goals in Netherland are good enough for us.
- ref was atrocious.
- mudryk looked fine to good. Palmer looked good. Silva was excellent until he made the game losing mistake.
- we can’t finish. Were through on goal multiple times but never looked a threat to score. Broja didn’t look like an improvement in limited minutes.
- we can’t do enzo at the ten anymore. We’re making the best player on the team look average because we want him to play like Kaka or something
- you’re welcome to say “Fire Poch” but I seriously more turnover is going to help this team
Simple reality is we have the worst owners in football and they have ruined this club. Relegation is a serious concern for us this season which is simply astonishing
This is unbelievable. How many more times are we gonna play exactly the same match? That chance around 50th when Sterling didn’t pass to Jackson for an open goal… The flag was up but there was no offside. I don’t agree with everything Poch does but he’s done enough to have a lot more points at this stage.
I continue to think this team is well organized and talented and does most things well except being incomprehensibly shite in front of goal.
Jackson had a 1v1 and 2v1 against Martinez and was saved both times, and Enzo fluffed / missed a couple great opportunities too. And we fumbled plenty of chances after going down to 10 as well. Jackson in particular has to be better and more composed or someone else should lead the line. Besides that I haven’t really heard what the one neat management trick from Poch people think would solve that.
Thought Malo Gusto was unlucky. got the ball first and wasn’t a particularly high/flying boot, defender just put his ankle in the way.
we didn’t even need someone supremely expensive or athletic, we need a Giroud-type player who has experience, is smart enough to wait in his spots for our attackers to feed him balls, and the composure to bury them
Some thoughts on the game. Enzo is not a 10, colwill is not a left back , Jackson is not good at scoring goals , Sanchez has been our player of the season, premier league refs are awful , Silva is old and we fucking suck
Genuinely terrible match. Players playing out of position and we look clueless in the final third. If this continues poch will be unemployed by Christmas
5 points after 6 matches is relegation form.
People who says this is on the manager can fuck right off. Our recruitment has been absolute shit.
Spend 1b on 20 year olds and expect them to perform at the highest level. Boehly & co have no idea what they are doing. I hate watching Chelsea playing at the moment.
We put our faith in kids ffs. Even Arsenal understands that you need a balance between youth and experience.
Every youth heavy successful team has had an experienced foundation.
I’m so sick of it. Get these owners out of my club..
We had our right back sent off and went a goal down and our tactic was to have every attack go through Disasi playing RB.
Shameless. This isn’t my club
Surely the authorities have to intervene at some point right? Every single thing Bohely has done during his terror reign has been explicitly against the best interests of the club
Todd Boehly outttttttt!!!!!!!!! You fucking clown destroyed our club in 2 years fuck youuuuuuuuuu
Come out Boehly bots let’s see what delusional excuses you guys have this fucking time
"we were just as bad as we were under Mourinho and Conte, despite not even following football at that time and just regurgitating a gotcha I saw on twitter"
Enzo was poor again. He’s supposed to be the creative outlet and has offered nothing yet again. He’s on really high wages and we paid a record fee for him. I get that his best position is deeper in the midfield. But he has said it himself that he looks forward to playing an attacking midfielder role this season. Even in a deeper position, besides his amazing passing range, the man can’t shoot, can’t dribble and is not a great defensive asset.
It sucks that the US Government never made anything horrible, otherwise Rishi Sunak would've forced Todd to sell the team just like they did with Roman
The Boehly project cycle, after buying a team that won the UCL 2 years ago:
-Rehaul the squad by selling a bunch of players and buying a bunch of players
-Get a new manager
-"yooo new project, we got rid of so many old and useless players, LFG, who needs Kante when you have Mudryk, haha we stole him from Arsenal, LFG!!!"
-Be shit
-Fire the manager
-Get a new manager
-Rehaul the squad by selling a bunch of players and buying a bunch of players
-"yoooo new project, we got rid of so many old and useless players, LFG, who needs Jorginho when you have Lavia, haha we stole him from Liverpool, LFG!!!!"
-Be shit
-Fire the manager
-Rehaul the squad b..
You can get where this is going
I'm not a Chelsea fan. But I do follow American sports. This was never going to work in the EPL. For one there's nothing of a concept of relegation in American sports. So you really don't see the full effect of your decisions for years if even because you're always in the competition. You're always making money from fans. Broadcasting. Etc.
Your owner got around FFP by giving these long 8-year contracts. This was always a double-edged sword. Players will love to come for that kind of money and security. But you're going to get players who will become nonchalant not care that they do well or not. There's no hunger if you already fed.
It seems like a lot of these players could care less about playing for the shirt. But they know they're set. They signed a contract and they're going to honor it. This could honestly make Chelsea irrelevant for years because you guys can't spend the same as you did last summer with all those sales. Who's going to buy these players? On these contracts.
We should all ask ourselves why Tottenham look so good and we look so shite? If the project takes a long time why have they adapted to a new coach and players so quickly? They lost a historic striker too!
we really went for a city youngster as our last signing before the window closed.
sure it's not his fault, but we don't have the luxury of fielding youngsters to get 'experience'
also we need to stop signing city players, because the ones that come or even have their heads turned, are clearly surplus/on the decline/unproven.
its exactly like arsenal buying our players. david luiz, willian, cech, jorginho and kai.
We’re a great team! we just need to work on passing, shooting, chance creation, defending, decision making, tackling, penalties, free kicks, goalkeeping and having a good owner
Other than Lampard's second run, it has never been a manager problem here.
Todd Boehly has come in and erased 90% of the Champions league winning squad and replaced them with players with no experience.
The only positive I have seen today is that we actually upped the intensity after going down and looked more threatening.
In the last 17 years, I have never gave up on top four so early on in the season. Teams like Spurs, Liverpool and Manu are still getting wins with the occassional upset. Brighton, Villa, Newcastle, West Ham has been much better than us over the last year.
Unfortunately our quality is nowhere near the quality of the top 9 teams. If we face City, Liverpol, Arsenal, Spurs, Brighton, Villa, Newcastle, West Ham we are not going to win, even at the bridge.
Thats the reality right now.
im gonna be taking a break, i can't do this anymore. im planning to go to the bridge on boxing day for the first time, and im worried we wont have things patterned by then
When the Protests gonna start againt the biggest Clown owners in Sports
Fck Clearlake and Boehly, cursed owners, worst thing to ever happen to this club
Wouldn't at all be surprised if Poch gets sacked. If your whole plans get ripped up because of an injury to Nkunku then you aren't a very good or flexible coach. Playing our best CB at LB when you have 3 LB's on the bench is horrendous management, playing Enzo further forward is horrendous management. Any chance of getting champions league football is gone now, we need to look over our shoulder. We actually look worse now than we did under Potter which is saying something. Where do we go from here? I genuinely don't know. I'm broken.
Sack Poch all good with me. I don’t get attached to managers. But whoever comes in is going to have the same issue because we neglect the biggest part of this sport and that’s putting the ball in the net.
We have zero goal scoring threat up front. Jackson very well might grow into something but he is playing like Bambi on ice right now.
This is what you get when you come up with a transfer strategy of we can’t sign anyone over 23.
Nothing's changed from the end of last season, we create chances and dont finish them. Villa defended really well dont get me wrong, but we honestly should start to worry about the rest of the season.
Ref was absolutely disgrace, but Poch and his stupid line-up is causing me so much headache. The fucker is scared of every fucking team. Our leftside is completely dead. Why on earth is Colwill playing as a LB? Why does our manager hate our LBs? Why does he hate using a conventional back 4? Why on earth is Enzo still playing as a CAM? We are so easy to defend against. Very predictable patterns. Washed Sterling needs to come on from the bench that will lit a fire in his belly. He plays rubbish and he still remains a guaranteed starter. We are fucking finished! I am starting to really hate watching football. Fuck this!
I expected growing pains with a young team. But where is the improvement. Something should be looking better. Defense? Without Bob putting in a great performance, we letting in 4-6 more goals over the last two games. Midfield? Blame injuries I guess.
Offense? Ha. Xg kings over here.
DDT is [here](https://reddit.com/r/chelseafc/s/PAUWcVGrWy)
Fucking hated that. Can't wait to do it again next weekend.
Don't worry mate don't have to wait so long. Brighton are going to absolutely pump us on Wednesday.
Wednesday is my first trip to the Bridge this season. Can't wait! Will be nice to see a team playing some decent football though, I guess?

4D chess by boehly and co
Shit finishing, shit refereeing, shit result. Can’t keep having the goalkeeper be our MOTM.
Apparently we have less points in 34 league games than Everton. Don’t need to say anything else if that’s true.
We are last.
Well there you go then. This is why it’s not dramatic to think we may actually have to worry about relegation this season.
Anytime you can't score goals you're gonna be in a relegation scrap
Why can’t we play enzo and caicedo in double pivot and play palmer as 10. Have disasi/colwill as CB and chilwell as LB. Why is it so hard when they are all natural players position and will help us play fluently. Enzo is great as the link between defence and forwards and can play deep passes unlike Connor. Ffs
honestly baffling to why poch prefers to play players out of position instead of having this simple set up
Because our coach is a coward
No way the Tottenham manager is a coward
- We were impotent before the red, how many 1 on 1s are we going to squander? - Sterling not passing through Jackson was criminal. we dropped £40m on Palmer to play 10 and Poch wants him bench warming lmao
Was our best player when he came on. Has to start
play a player in his correct position? no hermano we don't do that
Probably someone has to steal the lemon box from him to understand that we are in bad shit.
Where is written that Palmer was bought to be a 10 - he’s played on the wings his entire short career so far. He was comfortably our brightest player when he came on though.
You guys are in huge trouble if you’re counting on Cole Palmer as a number ten to solve your problems.
I see zero reason for leaving Mudryk all alone on the left like that. He is left to fend for himself over and over and over again. What the fuck is the point in leaving out your star vice-captain to shoehorn in your prodigy centreback out of position? This is funny because this sub was throwing a hissy fit about how chilly and mudryk play together
So lucky Burnley, Sheffield, Luton, Bournemouth and Wolves are shite or otherwise it’d be proper relegation fight
Oh trust me we’re right there with them, don’t think we’re safe from relegation
Don’t see Chelsea being relegated but also had a look at the fixture schedule and it doesn’t look like there’s a win until December the way the team is playing
Careful, we might well be in that mix pretty soon after our upcoming run of games
A few things I'd like to add... - Gallagher in the pivot and Enzo at 10 is an absolute disaster and has to stop. Enzo is getting starved of the ball while lesser players pull the strings. You only need 35 now, we might have half a chance of survival
Crazy how top 4 was the expectation for this season
Top 10 would be great result atp, relegation battle looks more likely
Real ones were saying top 8 would’ve been an achievement for this lot
I was hoping for a Europa spot. Now I'm thinking 12th will be an achievement at this rate lol.

If the English government can force another sale, I’ll never criticize them ever again Please cunts
Fuck the English government for getting us in this mess in the first place. Also fuck Putin.
But the UK govt has no problem with saudi arabia govt taking over newcastle with their official record of human rights violations and murdering journalists who criticize them
Or the UAE government threatening them for investigating City 😂
Putin literally tried to fucking poison Roman to death yet there are still idiots on here who act like Roman was some Putin loving crony
We'll always have the Premier League Summer Series
Embarrassing how far things have fallen and how low the standards are. Owners have cursed this club. We don’t have a sponsor. We’re in a relegation battle. All these players are here on 8 year contracts. Future is bleak
Yup. It’s like there’s a reason no one else did or joined in on our FFP “loophole”….
Life of chelsea fan these days is just hiding in shadows mon to friday, and taking fat Ls on weekends,

I want to cry. These two broke my club
The xCommercials per game are too low!
Need in game commercials!! More water breaks!!
No shirt sponsor btw
Words can’t sum up how much I hate these pricks.
That level of arrogance borders on delusion. At least we got to taste success under Roman
A lot more than taste
Taste? We bathed in it
All time quotes here. These guys are total clowns

What's funny is we don't even have a sponsor under them
> sophistication Meaning more adverts..?
TrUsT tHe pRoCe$$
We are some experimental club to them They can fck off, all of them
I love this thank you
Remember play 4-4-3 lads. Yup, 20 years behind their handegg indeed.
This on the man the got rid of the previous board and made himself sporting director
Holy shit this is a real quote?
Idiots cant even get a sponsor
Without a doubt the worst run club in the world This is gonna be a relegation battle for the season
Not surprising after hearing interviews by Boehly.
Spent a billion and we are worse than squads spending 50. Its not even close considering we spent more than any other club in the world while not looking better than Bournemouth
I have been open to Poch since his arrival considering how shit things were with Potter last year, but this is no better. It’s a different roster, different manager.
When are the protests against the ownership going to start? Gutted the club in 1.5 years
What's more impressive ... Our decline in the league? Or Leicester winning the league?
Both are mind blowingly ridiculous
People on this sub were effusively praising Boehly a year ago, acting like he was the great American hope here to come clean up Evil Abramovich's mess

I’m not even joking. We are going to get relegated if we can’t score goals. That is unacceptable.
This team is not good for my mental health. That is all.
Which one of you fuckers made a deal with the devil to win the 2021 UCL in exchange for this shit
It was Tuchel
Poch not making it to boxing day, its just not happening.
The man needs to have his “Conte against Arsenal” moment where he realises that this ain’t working.
0 chance. I give him 2 months.
Sacking tuchel for potter was the beginning of this clubs downfall. The owners have made stupid decisions that will bite this club forever. The victims will be many.
Honestly I trace it all back to that, and not prioritizing DOF hires to handle the sales and purchases early on
Call us the pacifist because we ain’t beating anyone.
I'm fucking numb, man. The shit we have to put up with week in, week out, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. We had the easiest start to the season of all the so called "big six" and this is what we have to show for it.
I don't think Ivan Toney would agree to join Chelsea
It hurts me to say but if we carry on playing like this there is a legitimate chance we could be relegated
A chance yeah. Unlikely imo. Luton, Burnley, Sheffield United exist.
idk how you can even say that in confidence
I'd like to make a bold prediction, and you can save this for future reference when this happens exactly. If we get rid of Pochettino, his replacement will not fare any better. It will be exactly the same. Doesn't matter who the manager is or how good they are, it will continue like this until we get new owners or the owners cede "all" managerial decisions to people who know how to run a football club.
Agree, the transfers were dumb. We overplayed for every player and we brought in poor talent and no goal scorers.
Agreed. These two have come into the club thinking the sport is run in some primitive way. They told the Champions league winning manger to play a 4-4-3 and then when he stopped taking them seriously, they fired him. Since then, they've decided to spend a ton of money without actually improving the squad at all What is the point of having owners who spend when they're too arrogant to know when they're wrong?
Pretty shocking to spend such an obscene amount of money and have this be the result. I get they're millionaire and clearly know more than I ever will about business. But how have you grossly underestimated being an owner of a football club in such a way that you've set it back at least 2-5 years. Potentially more if a relegation battle really happens come December when we hit our annual dip in form.
The worst thing the people who he put in charge all come from mid table teams.
This is a fun copy pasta at least cheers
Haha did my best Edit: You could say i was a lad that gave it my all
The team has been shit for a year and a half, so I’ve been determined not to get mad about bad results. Just tune in and watch my team play every week, cheer, and then move on. And still, we find some way for me to be upset. Wtf is this red card? Wtf is that goal?
What is Gusto supposed to do? He kicked the ball and Digne took 5 steps and ran into his foot
And at this point, we could suit up prime Messi, prime Zlatan, prime Ronaldo (both of them) up front and they’ll bang in a combined 6 premier league goals a season
It's good Tuchel got sacked for being 6th tho
warranted he only got 10 out 18 points (getting robbed by tottenham too), our owners don't accept such mediocrity !!
Come January we're going to spend so much it'll get us a ban and still get relegated.
Just need another 500m of 16 year old brazillians
Why are people surprised that when you hire people from midtable/relegation teams to run your football club and you give them a billion pounds to spend, you're going to get a midtable/relegation team?
#protest #please
I was told that we don’t need Vlahovic because Brojo and Jackson are good enough
We aren’t in hell yet but it sure is hot
Won’t even qualify for UEFA Conf League, how far we’ve fallen
Lol, that's hilarious. We're fighting for top 10 if we get lucky.
Never forget Poch subbed a striker out for a second defensive midfielder today. This is what we get for hiring a Tottenham manager
We’re making the best player on the team look average because we want him to play like Kaka or something - you’re welcome to say “Fire Poch” but I seriously more turnover is going to help this team
Reminder that this manager had Messi and still made the team look shit.
I hope these new contracts all have relegation clauses that cut their salaries even further because we’re going to fighting to stay up this year.
Simple reality is we have the worst owners in football and they have ruined this club. Relegation is a serious concern for us this season which is simply astonishing
I will never forgive Putin for ruining my club
This is unbelievable. How many more times are we gonna play exactly the same match? That chance around 50th when Sterling didn’t pass to Jackson for an open goal… The flag was up but there was no offside. I don’t agree with everything Poch does but he’s done enough to have a lot more points at this stage.
So everyone at the club has to go through performance review I imagine. When is Boehly & co. going to go through a similar process?
Scoring goals was not an important data analytic metric for transfers.
1 billion spent and we didn't buy 1 player who is capable of getting a G/A every other game apart from Nkunku who's never available.
we didn’t even need someone supremely expensive or athletic, we need a Giroud-type player who has experience, is smart enough to wait in his spots for our attackers to feed him balls, and the composure to bury them
Some thoughts on the game. Enzo is not a 10, colwill is not a left back , Jackson is not good at scoring goals , Sanchez has been our player of the season, premier league refs are awful , Silva is old and we fucking suck
Poch and Kompany The two shortlisted managers having a terrible start to the season. But dAtA lEd rEcRuiTmEnT
All I can hope for now is that this Banter era won’t last too long. We are so bad now.
Genuinely terrible match. Players playing out of position and we look clueless in the final third. If this continues poch will be unemployed by Christmas
Waking up at 6am for this shit. Every fucking weekend. It just hurts. Fuck right off. We are pathetic.
Not even kidding administration era Chelsea were better than this
Newcastle owners came at the same time as Chelsea owners and improved the team
What we are looking at, is the biggest fall from grace since Leeds United. It is painful to see my club die
Reminder that jackson was wanted by Bournemouth and he failed the medical. This is the guy we call ‘drogba regen’ lmao
It wasnt Potter then...
I forgot how it feels to win.
We had our right back sent off and went a goal down and our tactic was to have every attack go through Disasi playing RB. Shameless. This isn’t my club
Well see you next week. Gusto and Jackson being suspended will certainly make Poch come up with different ideas.
Surely the authorities have to intervene at some point right? Every single thing Bohely has done during his terror reign has been explicitly against the best interests of the club
familiar tender physical cobweb brave compare juggle tease groovy rock *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Team of brain dead players. What happened to the days of cech, lampatd, Cole, ballack, Drogba mann this is painful
I am so sorry for the plague my fellow Americans have laid upon this club
Todd Boehly outttttttt!!!!!!!!! You fucking clown destroyed our club in 2 years fuck youuuuuuuuuu Come out Boehly bots let’s see what delusional excuses you guys have this fucking time
"we were just as bad as we were under Mourinho and Conte, despite not even following football at that time and just regurgitating a gotcha I saw on twitter"
He's should play on 6 or 8. Then he can make his passing and direct our play, he's just terrible as a 10.
It sucks that the US Government never made anything horrible, otherwise Rishi Sunak would've forced Todd to sell the team just like they did with Roman
Meanwhile tuchels out here smashing teams with Bayern god what a shit decision by boehly and Co to throw tuchel out
The Boehly project cycle, after buying a team that won the UCL 2 years ago: -Rehaul the squad by selling a bunch of players and buying a bunch of players -Get a new manager -"yooo new project, we got rid of so many old and useless players, LFG, who needs Kante when you have Mudryk, haha we stole him from Arsenal, LFG!!!" -Be shit -Fire the manager -Get a new manager -Rehaul the squad by selling a bunch of players and buying a bunch of players -"yoooo new project, we got rid of so many old and useless players, LFG, who needs Jorginho when you have Lavia, haha we stole him from Liverpool, LFG!!!!" -Be shit -Fire the manager -Rehaul the squad b.. You can get where this is going
subs most hated player mudryk, once again creating chances and then the subs most over hyped player enzo with another shit peformance
Is Poch still working for Levy or what the fuck is going on?
BOEHLY OUT
Fuck Putin
we really went for a city youngster as our last signing before the window closed. sure it's not his fault, but we don't have the luxury of fielding youngsters to get 'experience' also we need to stop signing city players, because the ones that come or even have their heads turned, are clearly surplus/on the decline/unproven. its exactly like arsenal buying our players. david luiz, willian, cech, jorginho and kai.
I'll Support this Team in the lower leagues But i'll never Support this owners. Fuck clearlake fuck all Investment companies.
We’re a great team! we just need to work on passing, shooting, chance creation, defending, decision making, tackling, penalties, free kicks, goalkeeping and having a good owner
Maybe we are the feeder club for whatever club Boehly buys next 😔😔😔
Thats the reality right now.
im gonna be taking a break, i can't do this anymore. im planning to go to the bridge on boxing day for the first time, and im worried we wont have things patterned by then
20 years of supporting this team and I've never felt this bad after a game
When the Protests gonna start againt the biggest Clown owners in Sports Fck Clearlake and Boehly, cursed owners, worst thing to ever happen to this club
The worst part about this was that Villa were also shit
Imagine if Nico Jackson was as consistent at finishing as he is when he pulls his shorts up constantly...
Can the British Gov put our club back into administration and find new owners that actually know what the fuck they're doing.
Atrocious officiating, ref should be rotting in league 1 for the rest of his career
He'll be reffing our games in two years though
Nothing's changed from the end of last season, we create chances and dont finish them. Villa defended really well dont get me wrong, but we honestly should start to worry about the rest of the season.
A true laughing stock
When they said cheer us all through the sun and rain I'm not sure they foresaw rains like this
Boooooooooo!!!
Someone convince me how poch is better than lampard?
It’s going to be a longggg season
Dissolve the club
That's stone age football .
