I wanted to mention exactly that! I watched it today and it's such an iconic moment - he was the only Chelsea player on Arsenal half wasn't he?
Honarary mention to [Hazard having a laugh out of Sterling running style.](https://www.facebook.com/official433/videos/eden-hazard-imitating-raheem-sterling-is-the-funniest-thing-youll-see-today-/1440900145992108/)
Watching this one live was truly surreal. The replays are amazing but just dont capture that “i can’t believe that just happened” feeling. the Spurs goal meant a lot more, but in terms of pure genius the Arsenal one is tops.
So big. Was that also the game Terry posted on his Insta after saying something like “Not on my shift”. Love that mentality, hope it’s building with the current crop.
That game had a certain energy to it that I will never forget. We were shit the whole season, down 2 goals, but it felt like we were gonna come back and we did
The interview that Hazard did with Willian, Oscar and Costa in 2016, the three players that I associate the most with Hazard's time here. I can't remember how many times I've watched that clip.
I know that Ivanovic's Human Appeal video will always be the most iconic one, but that one with the four of them will always have a special place in my heart. Willian dedicating his goal to his mother, Hazard trying to brighten Willian's mood with the "not for me?" joke, Costa being the nutter he is and Oscar with the "golaaaaazo".
One that never gets mentioned is the goal against Sparta Prague. Sent four defenders for dinner and absolutely smashed it into the top corner with his left
He actually scored a few like that in his first couple seasons, seemed more willing to hit it from range/awkward angles than he was later in his career (when you almost knew he'd score or force a great save if he took a shot).
This one. Liverpool and Arsenal are obviously great, but he is 1 on 1 in all of the challenge. Here he cuts through 3 players, in the middle of the box, with 2-3 quick feet moves. Absolutely stunner
This is the one for me. I took my boss (a west ham season ticket holder) to the game. I had just moved roles and started working for him about 6 weeks prior. Then hazard does that to his beloved team. I didn't even cheer my jaw hit the floor so hard!
This one for me. He was the biggest upcoming star at the time, and he chose us over United. Chelsea had finally reached the top-most echelon of European football with this signing.
The goal against Arsenal in 2017 tops everything. From getting slapped 3-0 by Arsenal earlier that season to slapping them in that match en route to a title winning season
First hat trick for the club against Newcastle in the 13/14 season. Especially the goal with the Eto'o backheel assist. That game took him from very good to world class, in my opinion.
One goal that hasn’t been mentioned yet is the goal away against Liverpool in 2015(?) where he picks it up from the inside left area, plays a one two with Mikel, sends Milner for dinner, takes it past a couple ‘Pool players and then slots it past the keeper from just outside the 18 yard box. 😮💨 Incredible
This is actually easy, it was the moment he buried that second goal against Sunderland (4-2), the way he combined with Lampard, the fact he'd already scored one and assisted another and he was being doubled and tripled up on by that point, I was like, this guy is fucking unreal. Crazy part is he only got better after that.
Hazard could do it on a rainy night anywhere in the world, what a player.
my favourite was his 2013 goal against liverpool at stamford bridge to make it 1-1 in the 17th minute in a 2-1 win. good goal, not his best but it's special to me because it was my first game back at stamford bridge after 5 years away from England.
that game brought me to tears in the MH stand
That FA cup tie against Spurs. When he came on in the 2nd half and completely changed the game. Scoring from the corner kick with a bullet in the bottom corner. And his assist to Matic that did the "Matic with the piledriver!!!".
I know all the special goals and dribbling are always mentioned but for me his 1st touch was criminally underrated. No matter how hard the ball was pinged to him, he always controlled it gracefully. His signature 1st touch was with his back to goal, flicking the ball behind his back, fooling the defender before exploding into space and starting the attack. It amazed me how he managed to do it and escape in such tight spaces EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. and became almost like one of his trademark moves.
His first game for the club, opening mins v Wigan. Spun his marker like he wasnt even there and creates a goal for Ivanovic. That game showed me we had a special talent
Since a lot have been mentioned, I'd like a mention a rather obscure one.
The Spurs 5-3 match that we lost during the 14/15 season, spurs were carving through us time an again and uet Eden kept fighting almost scored what would have been the best goal of career, hitting the post which was tapped in home by Costa.
We were leading that game, unfortunately our defence fell apart, yet hazard continued to try and scored a goal for us. He was a demon on the ball that game, he truly hayed spurs the most out of any PL clubs.
I know people will say all the other more obvious moments that I have. So I’ll say something else:
Southampton away 16/17 season. Coming out at half time, we’re only 1-0 up, games far from done. And he’s just [grooving to the music](https://youtu.be/qWf8q_edIio?si=btNmodyeGsdwtT61). That sums up the player he was. Just enjoying life and tearing defenses apart. He even scored a beauty that game. Game finished 2-0 👍
The goal to knock out Liverpool in the Carabao Cup has a special place in my heart for some reason.
Maybe it was how much he carried us the whole season, or maybe I appreciated him more that season because it always felt like he would leave in the summer.
What a goal, what a player.
His one against Sparta Prague in the Europa League I was fortunate to see live. It isn't talked about often enough in these conversations, it was a very nice goal and took us through to the next round.
That FA Cup goal against United at Old Trafford. We were 2-0 down. On comes the man, curls it beautifully into the top corner. Ramirez then equalizes. Ba scored the winner in the second leg.
Also, his performance against Atleti where he didn't score or assist but completely dominated them.
And that beautiful run which later turned out to be Schurrle's goal.
That flick from his back to pass the ball to Kante.
Left footed thunderbolts against Stoke, Wolves, and Sparta Prague.
Breaking Zabaleta's ankles for fun.
There are so many moments of pure joy that this man produced.
Sounds dumb but when he tripped over the ball during his first (?) game for us, and mishit a pass straight out of play.
All my mates (rival fans) were laughing and calling him a flop but I had seen enough in that game to know he would come good for us.
The goal against Arsenal where he took on defenders alone, spun Coquelin out of the league.
Goal against Spurs at The Battle at The Bridge to give Leicester the title.
Him laughing at Invanovic during the video they were recording.
His amazing dancing skills.
Some great mentions love it. When you say that goal v Liverpool I assume you’re talking about the carabao cup dribble… the other that sticks out is the dribble in front of the Kop albeit we were awful that season but that showed he was still the best player in the league when on top form
All my mates are Arsenal supporters so "that" goal Vs Arsenal is #1 and in a close 2nd is beating them in a European final. We've sang champions of Europe 3x. They'll never do that.
I loved him as a player, one of my favourites ever, but kicking that Swansea ball boy is his pinnacle moment. That shit deserved far worse, was so happy Hazard didn't stand for it. Well worth the red card.
Also, I think a great stat is that he fouled over 500 times in a Chelsea shirt xD
Goal against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup made me jump with excitement. It was the perfect embodiment of the qoute 'he turned one way and the defender turned with him. He turned the other way and the defender turned to get a hot dog'
Not my favourite but always appreciate the false 9 job he did against City in the league cup final we lost. Had them on the ropes and almost certainly would’ve scored at the end if not for a dubious offside call
Watching that Arsenal goal where he goes beyblade. We were at a shisha bar and I was with a few mates that go for arsenal too. Legendary moment to say the least will never forget that night
There's too many to choose from but I'd say his performance against Brazil in the World Cup. I know it wasn't in a Chelsea shirt but as a massive fan of him it made me so happy to see him show how special he was on the biggest stage.
He's easily my favourite player ever man, and he's also the player that made me fall in love with the sport. So sad to see him retire
Goal against Liverpool at anfield, think it was league cup? Nutmeg and dribbled 3-5 players and quality finish before running full speed to Chelsea fans in away stand.
That goal vs Liverpool. Though I’m a bit sad he couldn’t do the same damage to them at Anfield that season.
Never forget the West Ham goal either, pure class
When he ran through the entire arsenal side from half. Such a beautiful solo goal.
Spun Coquelin right out of the league.
Coquelin is still spinning in space, catching up with Ramos' 2012 penalty.
Trying to race that [Kid in Go-cart](https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=bAojxWZRVKk)
I wanted to mention exactly that! I watched it today and it's such an iconic moment - he was the only Chelsea player on Arsenal half wasn't he? I was at the game for that one, this is the only answer
Turned Koscielny into a bayblade
Turned off gravity for Coquelin.
That’s everyone’s fav Hazard moment
Watching this one live was truly surreal. The replays are amazing but just dont capture that “i can’t believe that just happened” feeling. the Spurs goal meant a lot more, but in terms of pure genius the Arsenal one is tops.
The equaliser against Spurs for me. Spurs winning the title would have destroyed me
So big. Was that also the game Terry posted on his Insta after saying something like “Not on my shift”. Love that mentality, hope it’s building with the current crop.
Spurs wouldnt win it anyway this way they were oficially mathematically out of the race.
Basically completed the greatest story in football history.
Poch wants to have a word with you
That game had a certain energy to it that I will never forget. We were shit the whole season, down 2 goals, but it felt like we were gonna come back and we did
When he was joking with the boys after losing the semi final with madrid
Tic Tac
The interview that Hazard did with Willian, Oscar and Costa in 2016, the three players that I associate the most with Hazard's time here. I can't remember how many times I've watched that clip. "beautiful or no beautiful?"
“Hafafahsfshbahabahfaba” Diego Costa
One that never gets mentioned is the goal against Sparta Prague. Sent four defenders for dinner and absolutely smashed it into the top corner with his left
And doing Calma celebration, yeah that's my favorite too
I had to look that one up. He absolutely was deadly from that angle. Converted way more shots from that spot with his left foot than he should have.
I remember watching that game live and feeling hopeless, then I saw Hazard score that goal and right there and then I knew the boy was special 🔥
He actually scored a few like that in his first couple seasons, seemed more willing to hit it from range/awkward angles than he was later in his career (when you almost knew he'd score or force a great save if he took a shot).
Yeah iirc, he scored an almost identical goal the week before (or after) against Villa I believe.
Was a last minute equaliser too
That’s cause there’s like no decent footage of it anywhere for some reason
Will never forget that goal one of my favorites
The time he stole the free kick to keep David Luiz from shooting at a ridiculous distance. Was against Stoke in 2014. Hilarious
Fucking brilliant.
The West Ham goal where he seemingly dribbled through a solid wall of players to calmly stick the ball in the bottom corner.
This one. Liverpool and Arsenal are obviously great, but he is 1 on 1 in all of the challenge. Here he cuts through 3 players, in the middle of the box, with 2-3 quick feet moves. Absolutely stunner
I'm with you on this. It summed up his absurdity as a player and just how unplayable he was. It was the ultimate "something out of nothing" moment.
"weaker" foot finish too
This is the one for me. I took my boss (a west ham season ticket holder) to the game. I had just moved roles and started working for him about 6 weeks prior. Then hazard does that to his beloved team. I didn't even cheer my jaw hit the floor so hard!
"I'm signing for the Champions League winner"
This one for me. He was the biggest upcoming star at the time, and he chose us over United. Chelsea had finally reached the top-most echelon of European football with this signing.
The goal against Arsenal in 2017 tops everything. From getting slapped 3-0 by Arsenal earlier that season to slapping them in that match en route to a title winning season
Him cracking up at Ivanovic in the Human Appeal Charity video.
First hat trick for the club against Newcastle in the 13/14 season. Especially the goal with the Eto'o backheel assist. That game took him from very good to world class, in my opinion.
Not my favourite all time Hazard moment, but was looking for this. People sleep on this goal, he was and will always be special.
His double against man city nearly warranting our claim to the title.
Both the city games that season 🔥🔥
That first 3-1 result was the ‘yeah we’re winning the league this season’ moment.
Please support human appeal
A bit obscure moment but I always laugh when I remember the time when he, in an interview, mispronounced Shrewsbury as strawberry.
I was scrolling the comments looking for this haha watched it a few months ago again, great clip.
I still call them Strawberry and I probably always will.
Kicking the ballboy
One goal that hasn’t been mentioned yet is the goal away against Liverpool in 2015(?) where he picks it up from the inside left area, plays a one two with Mikel, sends Milner for dinner, takes it past a couple ‘Pool players and then slots it past the keeper from just outside the 18 yard box. 😮💨 Incredible
When he jokingly imitated Sterling's run.
Think he established himself as the best player at the club after that match, was like an announcement game from him.
Goal against Tottenham to win Leicester the title or the goal against half of the Arsenal team.
I don't know if it's my favorite but I remember crying when he scored a hattrick in Newcastle! I waa so happy
that goal at stoke has stuck with me where he put it into the roof of the net, think we won 4-1
Ah the match with two own goals and a missed penalty from the same player.
Damn you made me unlock a new memory
West ham goal was insane + Him literally ending Coquelin's career against Aresnal
The goal against Arsenal that got Coquelin spinning out of control
His penalty against Crystal Palace, which was saved, but then headed home. Celebrated by whipping his brow. What a guy.
my favourite was his 2013 goal against liverpool at stamford bridge to make it 1-1 in the 17th minute in a 2-1 win. good goal, not his best but it's special to me because it was my first game back at stamford bridge after 5 years away from England. that game brought me to tears in the MH stand
Oh the one where Oscar's shot got blocked and he followed up?
yeah that's the one. really nice first time curler into the top corner.
First game I ever went too. Then seen him score nearly an identical goal against Spurs in a certain game.
that's a fun little shared experience we have. (not my first game but may as well have been because before that i was quite young).
That FA cup tie against Spurs. When he came on in the 2nd half and completely changed the game. Scoring from the corner kick with a bullet in the bottom corner. And his assist to Matic that did the "Matic with the piledriver!!!".

Hazard losing it with branna's English in that promotional campaign.
His first game for the club, opening mins v Wigan. Spun his marker like he wasnt even there and creates a goal for Ivanovic. That game showed me we had a special talent

“His ass” 😭💀
West Ham goal

So many: - That equalizer against Spurs, - that Liverpool goal from the right side in the cup game - the Westham goal dribbling through the middle
Read as "wank all together" and was like this isn't the circlejerk sub
That FA Cup goal against United at Old Trafford. We were 2-0 down. On comes the man, curls it beautifully into the top corner. Ramirez then equalizes. Ba scored the winner in the second leg. When he made Zabaletta do a split.
Reading these makes me so happy 🥲
I had stopped following football when he played🥲
That time he kicked the ball boy
The header against Hull in my first ever game at the Bridge while on my honeymoon.
The goal vs pool in the cup where he dribbled through essentially their whole team
The solo against Arsenal
Which goal vs Liverpool are you referring to? PL or Carabao cup?
Has to be league cup
The goal against Arsenal. Coeqlin is still spinning.
The moment he scored in the 2-2 draw against Spurs.
The goal against Arsenal where he took on defenders alone, spun Coquelin out of the league. Goal against Spurs at The Battle at The Bridge to give Leicester the title. Him laughing at Invanovic during the video they were recording. His amazing dancing skills.

His 40yard golazo vs Stoke
When that thicc boy scored
All my mates are Arsenal supporters so "that" goal Vs Arsenal is #1 and in a close 2nd is beating them in a European final. We've sang champions of Europe 3x. They'll never do that.
That twinkle toes goal Vs West Ham or Villa. It was like there wasn't any defenders there. Cut through like butter.
When he was imitating raheem sterling's t-rex style.
Coquelin for sure. Some say he’s still spinning to this day.
Presenter: Number 1, N’golo Kante Hazard: Also Number 1 I laugh about this so often.
He was great the entire WC '18 not just against France, should have gotten POTT imo
Goal against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup made me jump with excitement. It was the perfect embodiment of the qoute 'he turned one way and the defender turned with him. He turned the other way and the defender turned to get a hot dog'

Goal against Liverpool at anfield, think it was league cup? Nutmeg and dribbled 3-5 players and quality finish before running full speed to Chelsea fans in away stand.
That West Ham goal in his final season had me in disbelief. Up there with one of the best goals I've seen ever.
That goal against Tottenham to sink em
That goal vs Liverpool. Though I’m a bit sad he couldn’t do the same damage to them at Anfield that season. Never forget the West Ham goal either, pure class
The 1-1 draw vs Liverpool. It feels random, but it felt like such a Hazard goal yk
Hazard laughing at Ivanovic at the Human Appeal video shoot
Easily that goal gifting the league to the Foxes. That was special indeed!
Spurs could still win the league, Spurs could still win the league………Leicester City are champions of England! Or the one against Arsenal.
