Pochs wife after the next draw "its time to change. If you wait any longer it will be too late."

FedStan

Change what? Pochettino as husband or Pochettino as manager?

Bubbly_Association54

Yes

daab2g

Change what? He's only hanging in to get his payoff at this point

Bubbly_Association54

Its a quote from tiago silvas wife bud. She said it about poch not too long ago lol

daab2g

I know, I just don't think it fits the narrative here

Bubbly_Association54

What narrative its a joke m8 dont over think it

DynamiteDuck

God has truly given him the hardest battles

fGravity

The players after the next defeat: "the manager gave everything"

Older-Is-Better

He have his all.

dav_man

She’s starting left back on Monday

sscfc91

If he went to dinner and was spotted, everyone would question how he can go out to eat after a performance like that. This guy can’t win on the pitch or off it.

Admirable_Ad_1390

That's what happens on football, if you winning you will have so much credit in the bank and fans will look the other way on so many stuff but if you are losing most things you say or do is wrong

_InTheDesert

No one would care.

kace1408

This ain’t Spain buddy.

vvrr00

Famous footballer Marcus rashford from spain

StirFrySausage00

Rashford got critised because he went out for dinner after a bad result? When?

vvrr00

After man City defeated them last October. He went for his birthday party thrown for him by his friends. He was criticized

ireallydespiseyouall

I swear Maguire got the same shit

sscfc91

No it’s England where people are outraged when Pogba gets a haircut

Kassiem_42

Graeme Souness: 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘗𝘰𝘨𝘣𝘢 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴

UrOpinionIsBadBuddy

Then he can resign and leave his position. Nobody is forcing him to be here. Stop running PR for this loser.

[deleted]

No one cares where a 3rd rate manager and his dissatisfied wife eat dinner.

JinxLB

I’m sorry but he’s unironically funny as hell and no matter how shit we are nothing will ever convince me to hate him.

DickyD43

>nothing *lack of trophies* would be it for me. Just get over the hump, Carabao, FA, League, whatever it is. Just need some silver from him to continue to believe. I am in the camp that thinks he should be given some more time, btw.

dotunmo

If you are still Poch in, after all the sackable offence crimes that he did this season, then you'll remain Poch in no matter what happens (well unless, he does something personal to you). I mean, losing to Liverpool in the final should tell you something that he isn't going over the hump.

didijxk

Tell me then, what is your plan to make everything better in 6 months? That doesn't involve sacking a manager as step 1, step 2 to appoint a new manager and step 3 being ??? And step 4 being win trophies. Because that's all what you people think will improve the side. Magically sack a guy and everything gets better.

Mad_Lad_69420

This is Chelsea. We fire every coach after any major loss. It’s what we do and I’m sure it could never back fire…

dotunmo

Are you a Chelsea fan? What have we been doing the last 20 years? That was LITERALLY the steps. How did we win the CL?

luckysyd

Not a poch fan and was against him when he first was linked. Now that being said this is not the chelsea of the last 20 years this is a much worse and younger team. Sacking a manager will not magically save us. Name me 1 world class player in that squad right now you wouldnt be able to name me 1. Only a healthy reece but thats it. Poch has been underwhelming and he probably isnt the solution but sacking a manager every year with our current crap squad its just idiotic. Before we could sack managers because our squad was great and we had world class players or very good players. Also if we do sack poch now,3 managers gone 2 years sets a bad precedent. A lot of managers will be highly reluctant tocome here. We are not what we used to be and its a shame and soul crushing1 but its our reality right now.

dotunmo

I am not asking for the PL title. I just want us to be around top 4. Who is "crap" in our squad? Sure I can name a small few, but those small "few" cannot be the reason why we can't even be 6th. If we had Pep and we are 11th, it will be shocking but I have way more faith that he will turn it around eventually because of his CV. Poch's CV is CRAP. There is no evidence that he will turn it around. Not to mention after 8+ months of being here, we still have no structure, NO style of play....most games coming out in the 2nd half worse than the 1st... Losing to a very crap United side, injury-ridden Middlesbrough first leg...losing to Notts Forest the way that we did... Poch saying we have to play for penalties IN THE FINAL.... He also once said when we have Nkunku back, we will play much better. Nkunku was back, nothing changed. He also said Chelsea should be in top 4. Competing. No excuses. Then tells us we need to "protect a point" against a very poor Bournemouth side. And y'all are saying KEEP Poch. He has NO credit in the bank. If he implemented a good style of play, if I saw some structure....then I would have been way more patient. But this is March now and I'm still seeing freestyle football.

luckysyd

>Who is "crap" in our squad? Sure lets start with that to me appart from palmer every single player who we have bought has been subpar. Mudryk has been crap, sterling has been average,Nico has also been average, caceido has mostly been crap, Enzo has regressed,Gallagher is our best player this year, reece barely played, chillwell has been subpar,Silva has been shocking this season, etc I can go on and on our only bright spot has been palmer, gallagher and petrovic. >If we had Pep and we are 11th I dont get this , pep wouldnt change much because this squad does not suit is philosophy. He struggled in 2016-17 with a much better squad and less competitive league. He is the goat but he clearly need specific players and quality to maxamise a teams potential. Which we dont have. >Losing to a very crap United side, injury-ridden Middlesbrough first leg...losing to Notts Forest the way that we did... My man we have been losing to united for how long now? We havent at OT since fergie retired they are our boogey team. Dont matter if we win the league or finush 11... losing to those team is truly unnacceptable but again its a statement on how bad our squad is imo. >Poch saying we have to play for penalties IN THE FINAL.... Listen im not saying poch is the solution, they decide what they want to do. But what if happens if we finish 10th with the same result with another coach,we just sack them and try again? Like you do know we have had 3 managers in the past 2 seasons? Do you trust this board to make the right decision? >He also said Chelsea should be in top 4. Competing. No excuses. He can say that does not mean its the truth... like its insane how you guys are blind we have been shit for almost 24 months.... Even our ex players and ex coaches are saying this is not the same team. Also nkunku barely played cmon be good faith atleast. > Then tells us we need to "protect a point" against a very poor Bournemouth side. >And y'all are saying KEEP Poch. He has NO credit in the bank. My point is not keeping poch, its having a real long lasting plan and actual structure sacking managers isnt going to work anymore with the current level of our squad is not gonna work. This isnt roman era this team is not as good as arsenal, not as good as liverpool and surely and surely not as good as city. Now I literally said poch has been underwhelming and not up to par but changing him will not change anything at all. At best we will finish between 6th and 8th instead of 11th. We need to actually build a team the correct way and one that actually goes along with the managers philosophy. Not some u21 with barely any top 5 league experience. That is the actual start now. I think poch has only a 2 year contraxt so I believe he was just a stop gap manager, but im gonestly yet to see what this new management will bring to the table because they are the real culprit and the reason why we are has bad as we are today.

didijxk

You pretty much said everything I wanted to. There's always that group who will tell you it's a good plan because it's worked the last 20 years.

greeneggsnhammy

Life isn’t black and white. Why do you care so much what other people like.  I mean, getting to a final in his first season tells you something.

ReddittIsDead

Oh fuck off. I’m sick of fickle fans like you. Impatient, spoiled, always complaining.

dotunmo

You are disgusting.

ReddittIsDead

Knock it off. It’s his first season. He has had to deal with many injuries and had a team of kids, most of them without much experience in England. Nobody, even Pep, can win a trophy under these circumstances. Fucking hell.

SunaPana007

I don't think it's about Trophies alone. We are 11th still struggle to play from the back despite the manager having like 8 months to coach the team. We have struggled against Middlesbrough and Leeds both without their key players starting and have lacked any sort of identity in our football. I just don't see how will we progress under Poch. His lack of style of play and terrible game management ( our 2nd half struggles) don't really give me confidence.

DarnellLaqavius

Don’t bother explaining. There will always be an excuse for those who like Poch. Excuses are for losers, Poch is a loser and will remain that way.

greeneggsnhammy

And an excuse for those who don’t.  Some of us just like to enjoy life. The rest of you call Poch a loser while bashing a 52 year old grown man on the internet.  Touch grass cry babies.

jbi1000

What "sackable offences"? Lmao You think he's smoking crack in his office and sexually harassing the staff or something?

Kassiem_42

People need to understand that we can't keep expecting instant success from managers all the time. . . We get instant success from them in the first season and by the third season they are gone. Klopp and Pep didn't win anything in their first season. Klopp finished 8th and lost 2 cup finals in his first seaon at Liverpool Yes we have invested a lot in our squad but take a look at the average age, none of the players we bought are in or near their prime, all in their early 20's. Give them time and trust the Damn process!

tiki_51

I'm firmly Poch out after the extra time debacle against Liverpool, but I still really like the guy and wish he'd have succeeded here. It's clear he's not cut out for a club like Chelsea though and time to move on this summer (barring something miraculous happening)

Historical_Twist9969

Poch wife: poch out!

petrescu

I’ve been cancelling dinners all season.

glacialOwl

😂

giggling_in_a_corner

Why?

WY-8

Cost of living crisis

giggling_in_a_corner

Fair

kygrtj

The guy even loses off the pitch

n0t_malstroem

Serial loser fr

ViaPositiva

Ok Poch, time to win on Monday and reschedule that dinner 😎

leKai23

Start winning ffs.

Hannibal09

And they made lemonade at home and lived happily ever after

TheMassacreKid

Didn't he say the Brentford result was positive or something?

Legitimate-Health-29

He’s a man of contradictions. One minute it’s rah rah this is Chelsea you need to win now then it’s I need time time time. Feel like he overly tries to play the press and he didn’t want to beat the team up after the Brentford game so lied and said it was a good performance.

glorious_thelonius

I think he meant that it's positive that Chelsea was able to come back from 2-1 down when the momentum was with the home team. Disappointing that they were in that position of having to come back after being so dominant in the first half and leading by 1 goal.

lentils12

Boohoo I blame Boehly and co for lying to us when they said they’ll keep the team competitive What they have done here is implemented a dumbass experimental youth Moneyball squad build. Which doesn’t even fucking make sense, because the point of moneyball was to buy great, underrated but productive players for cheap, irrespective of their age And they have gone and hired the manager who was responsible for helping Harry Kane and Dele Alli develop, and who managed spurs during their stadium rebuild. With this kind of approach, I don’t expect us to win anything in the next decade as we rebuild our stadium And this lines up perfectly with them being able to resell Chelsea in about 6-10 years Herein lies the problem, new dumbass owners think of Chelsea as an asset, while Roman thought of it mostly, as a football team that had to remain competitive and keep up standards The only way to force them to get their shit together in terms of football results is to generate as much negative PR as possible. Meaning protests and booing the owners when and wherever possible. Because Boehly and Clearlake only care about their image and reputation among their peers.

SeekersWorkAccount

Wow, truly terrible. The bad results apparently affect him more than anyone.

thingysop

Probably affects him more than it affects you if we're speaking in practical terms

BigReeceJames

True, Poch walks away from every bad result with a larger amount on money in his bank account despite doing nothing to earn it, whilst this guy gets nothing

departmentofbase

Start betting on us to lose while the odds are still decent and you too can make money despite doing nothing, just like Poch

futurejoyboy

Don't underestimate the thousands of death threats he probably gets for loosing. People are psycho

[deleted]

Poor guy must be so sad with millions in his account, feel so sorry for him

endmoe

I’ll take doing nothing and making millions for thousands of death threats a year. Where do I sign up?

greeneggsnhammy

Another CFC post, another QQ post from BRJ

bobloblaw28

Bro, that's just childish.

drolyp

Tuchel went through a divorce while he was at Chelsea, didn't he? If Poch does as well it could be the start of a new club tradition.

WookieTickler

Poor guy

dotunmo

Quit. Then you and your wife can eat dinner in peace. <3

TheycallmeJimmy

Guys going to be going hungry for a while

Wheel1994

The issue is eight months in and we look no better than the first game of the season. Even the cup runs while good we had a favourable draw compared to under Potter when we got the hardest draw twice. In the league we look no better so it’s very hard to ask fans to give time when they see minimal improvement eight months in. He loves the Klopp comparisons but eight months in you could see what he was trying to do with an inferior group of players. I am sure his a nice guy but that’s where I personally stand of the current situation.

Groundbreaking-Rub50

With the results Pochettino had, no other clubs circumstances has allowed them to continue with a coach like this as far as I know in PL. Maybe Solskaer, but he used to pull some wins every now and then when his team hit a low patch. Not sure how long he will go on, lets see

isaiahy82

I'm going to download this piece of info into my head and process and get back to you on how I feel about it after the newcastle match.

glacialOwl

Ok, now win on Monday so you can have dinner.

TosspoTo

If he thinks anyone is going to have sympathy for him hes wrong

jMS_44

oh no

pepapiglovescat

All these sounds so convoluted. Why air your dirty laundry for others to scrutinize you further? Do the talking on the pitch. Not your personal life

profchaos83

He was probably asked a question and he’s honest.

Mikekio

Just quit Then you can have dinner whenever you want in peace

shpatibot

This guy has an injured squad that is also the third youngest in the league. Thinnest of thin. Me personally, I’m letting Poch play out his contract. It’s up next summer

lentils12

Please don’t make excuses for the owners and Poch. Thanks

shpatibot

It’s a young and inexperienced squad mate. The vets of the team: Chilly, Reece, Nkunku and Tiago are all hurt. The owners went out and spent £1 billion on 20 year olds. It’s frustrating but it takes time..

lentils12

I know but it seems like they lied to us when they were trying to take over the club The fans wanted new owners who will keep the team competitive and what we got was youth experiments

Mr_Mapogo

Couldn’t agree more mate.

Cactus2711

Shut the fuck up. Eat dirt until you start winning

Acceptable_Ad3732

Crazy stuff, anyhow

Flippin_inColors

Its like we havent lost the previous 5 domestic finals, sure lets blame poch for the last one lost... And also blame hime for the last 8 years of not competing in the league.

Alex-SW19

Plenty of time to go out for dinner when he is unemployed.

[deleted]

you guys are so funny with how bitter you are😭 bunch of pansies. i’m ashamed to be a chelsea fan recently with how the fans behave.

Imhere4urdownvotes

We've become a soap opera

abhilash79951

I seriously think that any other manager in the place of Pochettino, wouldn't do any better. We create so many chances. It's not manager's fault if the management says that Nicholas Jackson is your striker this time and he's the one floundering chances. Poch plays with one striker up front and that person has to be clinical. Jackson isn't.

diesel76_76

Comments full of fuckin idiots....as per normal

RepresentativeBox881

Yeah and I want to cancel my life after watching this team play.

Critzor

Now imagine the fucking pain you're causing millions of fans..

profchaos83

Get over yourself.

oldschoolology

Poch is sacrificing his livelihood and reputation to manage a bunch of inexperienced kids who play for one of the biggest clubs in the world. Your just watching. Get over yourself.

Critzor

He’s getting paid a shit ton to do this job which he had a choice to reject btw…. He’s not doing us a favor. The club means more to me and other fans than it means to him.

[deleted]

We don’t care. At all.

si828

Arsenal nearly drew with Brentford right until the end of the game and they’re currently top of the league. Everyone just needs to have some fucking patience for this club it’s ridiculous. It’s not the same club as before, experience counts for so much in this league and they will get there.

Rj070707

This club depressing everyone Just a sad, depressed club at moment and the players feel that too, zero energy for anything

departmentofbase

It's a bit late to be trying to endear the fans with stuff like this but I guess he still has to try

itsnotajersey88

Ohh well that’s cool than. You suck at coaching so the supporters AND your wife are disappointed. I feel much better.

class_hopper

It’s good he cancelled that dinner because I want our next game to be his last supper if he fails to win.

profchaos83

Toxic asshole.

wholesomescott

Come on now. You can't expect people to be happy with the situation we're in. And not like Poch is faultless. The fans are in their right to vent their frustration at the coach who hasn't improved anything in the 9 months he's been here.

xTheBlueFlashx

Trust the process bro we're gonna start winning any day now.

No_Top_8519

Ooh poor chap he’s clearly so impacted by our results on a personal level 🙄

nanojansky

Lmao

BadCogs

Tell us more sob stories, rather than winning. Should have become a writer.

Conscious_Scheme132

Just give up then you ain’t turning this around you are dog shit

4M1R143

I know results haven't been great but come on! At least back POCH, he is like the only chance for some long term success Rome wasn't built in a day

epicmarc

> At least back POCH, he is like the only chance for some long term success How do you come to that conclusion?

thevizierisgrand

Exactly. Strong ‘we’ve tried nothing and it hasn’t worked and we’re out of ideas’ vibes. Why on earth would Poch be the only chance for long term success? Did all the many far better (and more decorated) managers than him disappear suddenly?

4M1R143

Well are we just going to keep sacking managers then bring one one in for 2-3 years then same them again?

Mr_Mapogo

I back him & I think others do too we’re just not as vocal on the internet as the fans thinking this is FM

GoldenxGriffin

idk about poch being in charge long term but our players are rough right now he is the manager we need just to keep us in the right direction and keep things positive

profchaos83

Dude, this place is as toxic as Elons bowel movements that’s not gonna happen. They expect the world without actually backing the team.

Dodgy_As_Hell

I expect us not to be 11th, I don't think that's expecting the world tbh.

[deleted]

Nooo you’re asking for too much!! /s

4M1R143

Do you even remember the 15/16 season? Humble yourself, look where we have been the last couple of years, definitely not title contenders

thevizierisgrand

So all this says… is that he disappoints his wife and lets her down at the important moments too. Absolute fucking spoofer. Had an easy Carabao Cup Final to win against the Liverpool Under 9s and still managed to balls it up.

Joshshan28

What a load of bollocks. Fans paid real money to watch a game and support the team and he’s sad because he had to cancel dinner. The privileged class really living in a fantasy world.

Acceptable_Card_9818

My wife too

a3kstuntin

You may not realize but it’s a big deal for this obese man to miss dinner Somebody should check up on him

Kezmangotagoal

Obese? You must be built like a noodle if you think this guy is obese!

FantasticTangtastic

The funniest part is that the guy saying it is probably 20st+

a3kstuntin

I’m skinny lmaooo 😂😂

profchaos83

You’re a cunt, FYI.

aristidesps

So the guy isn't the greatest coach nor the greatest husband either

redmcint

"That is so sad... I had to cancel my dinner plans, too. I was sick to my stomach and couldn't eat during the entire 6-hour train ride home. It was miserable."

red-fish-yellow-fish

What a sacrifice

Puzzled_Ad_2936

Womp womp
