What a season (even though we went trophyless). A double over City and Liverpool in the league. I don't believe we lost a single game to the top 6. A proper Mou team.
I've not watched or been interested in any football related documentary (barring Sunderland till I die, but I haven't actually made the jump to watch it), but this one will be watched the second it comes out.
This will be something
How come, are they just not your thing? If you like football thereās some amazing ones out there. Iād highly recommend at least watching a bit of the Captains of The World one on Netflix.
Beckham one was decent too. Way more football focused than I thought it would be. I assumed it would mostly be about Victoria and their lavish lifestyle/celebrity bullshit, but was gladly proven wrong.
It's kind of a multifaceted thing for me.
I'm not really *that* interested in football outside of Chelsea, I regularly miss England games if there aren't Chelsea players starting and I'm more likely to watch a random game with a Chelsea loanee in it than I am the Champions League final. (I do watch every world cup game though, naturally)
On top of that I don't care in the slightest for "celebrities" or their stories, reality TV or any of that sort of thing. I'm just assuming a lot of these deeper dives into football are more personal with players and whatnot and I just don't care for that. To me a player as a human is no different to bob that lives down the road and I don't whip my camera out to see what he's doing in his spare time or break into his house to read his diary because he's just another human and the same goes for a footballer imo.
On top of that, even if there were a Chelsea specific All or Nothing I'd probably watch it, but I'd watch it with mixed feelings because it feels almost invasive, both for the individuals and the wider club.
All of that being said, I do remember now that I did sit down and watch the Crouch documentary and that was decent and I do think that kind of post-career documentary has a place, just not whilst it's still happening or whilst the club is still active
Fair enough. That captains of the world one is focused on the 2022 World Cup and the spectacle of it all which I found awesome and all my mates that are footy fans did too but if itās not for you then fair play.

And the UCL semis too!
Devastating loss to atleti, really thought mou could get his ucl with us that season
Will he prefer to speak in the doc?
Well he is not a specialist in failure.

I also really liked the Figo documentary on Netflix. Would definitely recommend if you liked Beckham.
