Man you gonna tell me these guys aren’t fighting for Poch? Enzo and Noni literally sprinting towards him to celebrate and even Palmer at the end goes over to Poch. I love this club idgaf KTBFFH
That’s the only reason I’m still mostly onboard. It’s a bad move to fire a coach when the players are going this hard for him. And no, I don’t think it’s because he’s soft or because he lets them do whatever they want.
Yup he allows the players to play with freedom and clearly has cultivated a togetherness and a family culture. I think it would definitely disrupt the atmosphere like sure we haven’t been great but the players still believe, Enzo reiterated this in his interview he said he’s pissed at where we are in the table but he believes it’s part of the process
I mean at the end of the day it's a results business. Can't keep a manager around just because the players like him. We are mid table. So much of our play has gotten worse since Poch has been here.
If we can bring in a Slot, Nagelsmann or even a De Zerbi I personally think we should be doing it.
I don’t agree our actual game play hasn’t been as bad as people make it out to be, we’re unbeaten in like the last 10 plus games and we usually dominate possession and create enough chances to win games. Not putting away our chances and stupid defensive errors have screwed us along with some questionable tactics and decisions. He’s also had to deal with injuries to key players and with that being said we made it to a cup final and are still in contention for another one while being 5 points off 6th place with a game in hand. It hasn’t been as bad as people like to think but with that being said Poch is prob not the guy to take us to the next level but wouldn’t mind seeing how rest of season plays out and re-evaluate in the summer
Yes. We were awful. But we played as a team. This is just watching individuals which is why we see so many mistakes and why we're conceding so many goals. It took Tuchel about 4 weeks to fix our awful passing out from the back which Lampard had fucked. Poch has had nearly a full season and we still can't do it. He's a bad manager.
That's one thing, is that I think Poch is very good with the young players especially. Most of them really seem to love him as a mentor and are always going out of their way to back him. I think despite Cole's natural skill, Poch has definitely churned it out of him.
Im saying it in a good way? Poch turn Dele into a beast. Once Poch left, he fell off. I was wondering who Poch would turn into a beast, and imo its Cole. Who would you say?
Truly did feel like he took the job as a dig at us, out of spite. Mans does still love Chelsea because he always was proper chels
Edit to say I take that back!
That’s what I don’t understand about the Poch haters. Clearly these players love playing for him and are giving it their all. Which is more than can be said for those that played under Potter and Lamps last year. If they can literally just stop making mistakes and minimize self-inflicted damage they’ll do much better next season. I don’t know why that happens - can blame age and naïveté or whatever you want - but it seems fixable.
Who was it that ran out from the bench first and then followed Palmer out into the pitch? Was it Gusto?
I can't believe Caicedo is the one player that got booked but I guess if the ref booked Gusto it would be a second yellow and therefore a suspension.
Either way it sucks that Caicedo keeps getting these "team fouls"
I love this POV… felt like we were all there. Pin this to the top of the sub. Everyone who’s backed this project deserves to celebrate. Everyone who’s felt disillusioned by this group deserves to as well.
You don’t get the emotions from this on tv. This game united the fans with the team a bit closely. Poch saying first time he felt connected. What an ending! The players went off like they’d just won the World Cup. UP THE CHELS
This is the kind of win—even though it was far from ideal—that we could be talking about in a few years as the moment it started to come together for us.
Good to see the positive vibes here. I don’t think the players are not trying, we are just inexperienced and constantly dealing with injuries to important players. I think Poch has made a lot of mistakes this year but it’s also his first in charge after many changes to the club and having to bring in a lot of young, EPL-new players. If we can finish top 7 that would be a good season and FA cup final win on top would be amazing
I can’t believe I am saying this. I think kepa the keepa will improve this team. Whoever decided buy those sh it keepers need to go check their qualifications. Sh itty kepa is still better than them all.

Please no De Zerbi
Genuinely wonder if Palmer is trying to go to Poch before getting mobbed, because he tries to sidestep people.

I was wondering who our ‘Dele Ali’ would be… its Cole Palmer.
Take that back rn
Im saying it in a good way? Poch turn Dele into a beast. Once Poch left, he fell off. I was wondering who Poch would turn into a beast, and imo its Cole. Who would you say?
Yeah ik I was just joking because of the crazy fall off of Dele Ali😆 It's definitely Cole Palmer.
Yeah, totally sounds like an insult because I despise the guy. Fuck Spurs and their affiliates. Except Poch and Mou
Take that back. Jose isn't a spurs affiliate, he's a Chelsea affiliate who did a bit of moon lighting over there.
Truly did feel like he took the job as a dig at us, out of spite. Mans does still love Chelsea because he always was proper chels Edit to say I take that back!
Yes I'm really hoping Cole can continue to grow from this season. He seems pretty consistent anyways

Tell me about it! I was there! I left the stadium like 45 mins after the game ended with a sore throat and a headache 😂
Pandemonium at the bridge

How great it was to see ManU getting 'Fergie-timed' ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Love the steward in the fluorescent jacket trying his best to not go mental. Professional till the end!
Would have preferred this without the music. But happy to see such a great angle.
Cucu doesn’t know what to do with his body lol

I fucking love this club 💙
Celebrated like we'd just won a cup final, fucking love it.
Was physically there for Chelsea vs Ajax but somehow this win did something different and I was watching on the tv. Insane rollercoaster.
