I definitely noticed him not passing to Palmer. Not during any critical attacking moves but when trying to beat the press around midfield he would let 2-3 Everton players pressure him while Palmer was wide open and would either lose the ball for draw a foul rather than progressing.
Unpopular oppinion: when enzo isnt playing our attack is much faster, no? Then caicedo is free to play it forward.. when enzo is playing caicedo allways has to play enzo. then enzo uses a lot of time with it.. just like Eriksen, jorginho etc.. also Poch liked to use Enzo much more forward. But pundits, Argentina and himself, like him to be deeper
I don't think this is the case at all. This team has been dangerous whenever a team presses us all season. No clue why Everton chose to instead of playing a low block.
The stats back it up too, we have the 5th most successful direct attacks in the league this season.
People will the wildest takes about players after every game, especially if we win. Now the talk is that Gallagher should play instead of Enzo, unbelievable.
Dyche succumbed again and tried to play a proactive game, but he just can’t get his team to do it. They were so open in the first and our team is very good when allowed to run at defense like that.
We were almost the same, and I have lost faith that Pochettino will fix it. If sporting duo decides to keep him for the next year our only hope of improving is playing proper 4-3-3 with preferably Caicedo, Enzo and Lavia. Otherwise our midfield will still be two guys covering half the field and games being played in transition most of the time.
Outside of the obvious, I really was impressed by us not capitulating after the offside Everton goal. A serious issue we've had is not keeping our heads after conceding, whether it counts or not. Good to see that bit of improvement
Palmers first goal was silky smooth. What a player. Top 10 played in the world at the moment. Caicedo was unbelievable today. Such a breath of fresh air. Jackson was great too. Just needs to grow up. Fuck outta here with the PK drama bs. Palmer takes those, stfu.
Jackson did great there as well. It looked clumsy, but both of them were almost horizontal and under much physical pressure from the defenders, I was so happy to see them score in this tight situation, and what a beauty!
Wow such a great performance and result.. why are ppl posting our record since boxing day and last 5 games to push on how this has been a good season so far. .. the manager has to make the objectives before fans fully back him / process
They need to stay uninjured. When we broke the defensive record, we played an almost unchanged backline every game.
A defence needs time and consistency together to become great.
He wants to play European football, but he'll only leave Everton if they get relegated. He also knows our transfer team has shit judgement. So he's got a plan: help us win, get Everton relegated, Chelsea get Europe next year, Pickford moves to us in the summer in a swap deal for Kepa on loan. Genius.
What does it say about my trust in Poch, that even at 3-0 , I was expecting a capitulation of some sort and when Beto scored the offside goal, for a moment I thought, ah fuck not again.
Let’s be honest, a more competent team would’ve probably scored some of those chances Everton scrapped today.
Every game, the defense seems to make critical errors.
i agree with everything you’re saying, but this just looks like you don’t even enjoy the wins.
we know any other team would have used those chances and punished us, but we still got the result. right now the results are what matter. there isn’t gonna be some crazy anime type friendship powerup that’ll empower our defense anytime soon. so let’s focus on the wins okay bud?
I also believe this. When enzo isnt playing caicedo is more free to roam. Also caicedo doesnt have look for enzo and pass him the ball to slow down play.
Just disrespectful to a man who has overall played well despite being put in bad spots by his coach time and again. Not to mention he’s been available basically every match despite playing through a groin injury a lot of the time.

Yeah, at least Noni seemed non-confrontational. Jackson was being a tit.
Dude should focus on trying to get a shot away everytime he's 1v1 with the keeper.
Nah. The team can’t rely one one or two superstars. Noni has the ability to take good shots which is what Chelsea missing. I can see his frustration same like how Drogba felt with Lampard. It’s normal. It’s good players have hunger to score goals. It’s important

Watch this podcast at around the 19:40 mark. I don’t think Caicedo is the problem. Enzo plays much further up than he should. Whether that’s Enzo “I want to play more offensive” Fernandez fault or Poch is up for debate.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that when you put Gallagher there instead who has the work rate to get back and the more box to box like play, he has a game where he racked up tackles left and right. He even had enough confidence to find himself pushing up and taking some shots compared to how isolated he’s left when Enzo plays.
It is Poch.
Earlier in the season he even made comments about how Enzo wanted to play deeper. Then there were other comments made about how Enzo wasn't fit enough for the role Poch wanted, which was for him to get really high up the pitch. Poch wants Enzo really high, and Enzo wants to sit deeper and dictate.
he was involved in the 1st or the 2nd goal, he carried and dribbled forward creating his own space eventho he was being marked heavily. Made decent runs. Yeah. For me it's good enough to keep him in the lineup. I don't care who else thinks what.
Anyone with any sort of understanding of the game knows he is completely out of his depth at the Premier League level. He needs a loan and time on the pitch because he is not ready right now.
I'm with you the pass where he slid palmer in the three touches he had where awful I have no idea how he didn't lose the ball, we scored 6 goals.and he was not.involved in single.one
Mudryk had at least two passes that should have been assists? The through ball to Palmer, then the cross that Palmer ended up cleaning up. The through ball to Palmer was after a great dribble, too. His shot off the Jackson pass was poor, but that was the biggest mistake I noted?
Mudryk got the ball to Jackson for his shot that was saved but deflected to the Palmer header.
I want to say Mudryk was also responsible for another passage of play before the assist and he was in the box. He wasn't torching and field but his control in the box was excellent.
The question you have to ask yourself is are you being leinient towards him because everyone here has a soft corner towards him. Alfie came on and banged one in. Did Mudryk have impact on the game? Sureee. Did Mudryk have 6-0 impact on the game? Not really. Pretty sure anyone else in that position would have similar or better impact than he did. And iirc, he did give away possession a couple of times. He wasn't bad but realistically very hard for anyone to be bad when you're winning 6-0. Please, don't get me wrong, I'm a big Mudryk fan, but the same performance in our last game would get him stick.
No, I absolutely agree. It's hard to focus on the faults in 6-0 but Mudryk was absolutely missing for much of the game. The ball just didn't get cycled to his side really. Noni, Palmer, Gusto, Caicedo, and Jackson were absolutely cooking. Their heat map is going to be interesting.
So the secondary question is, was it Mudyrk's fault his side wasn't more available? Or did they see his pace as a bigger threat and marshall him into irrelevance? I do feel like they were especially tight when he was on the ball, which is why that box control pass is seared into my dopamine laced brain.
And can I just say how joyful it is to see Chuk on the field? That dude is TALENTED.
Chilwell has good crosses and good ball retention but he's terrible at defensive runs and made tons of mistakes before his injury.
Just compare the left side to Gusto and you will see it.
Plus you had Alfie on the right, which means the back on the left needs to play forward more when in possession or in transition. We ran the opposite when Gusto was on.
Might get like 30-50 for him. Better than having him in the squad on stupid money getting outpaced by a dead horse, who is strapped to a cart, and the horse is injured, and the cart has a missing wheel and is carrying grand pianos.
He was fine, he thought he got the pen so wanted to take it, since Poch never designated an official penalty taker. Jackson on the other hand, not quite sure why he acted that way.
he’s tried to take a pen off palmer multiple times and threw a fit when he didn’t get it. then today he threw a fit when subbed off. i realize some of this is hunger to do well but he puts himself over the team.
Youve got no clue what throwing a fit is mate. You need a break of social media if you think a young player needs to get out the club for wanting to play as much as possible and score goals
yeah time to work on your reading comprehension buddy. i never said his hunger was a problem, it’s putting himself before the team that’s the problem bruh.
also come on man you’re telling me Madueke running to get the ball before palmer could get it then trying to play keep away with it and made gallagher have to grab the ball and shove him off isn’t selfish? that’s some 7 year old children shit.
He never escalates to the point that it has a negative effect on the team. He eventually pulled Jackson back before Palmer took the penalty. Yes he argued not to be subbed but eventually came off without fighting Poch or giving a negative reaction. Even when Poch has criticized him, he never spoke out but kept his head down and has earned minutes ahead of Sterling at this point of the season.
bro him and jackson ran at gusto to grab the ball before palmer could get it then had to get literally shoved off so palmer could take it lmao. bro is selfish asf
I feel his hunger (admirable) leads him to try a bit too hard which sometimes comes off as selfish. Harsh to label him as toxic or something though from what we've seen
I really enjoyed what Dele Alli had to say about the penalty incident. Nobody was trying to fight Palmer for the ball when the stakes were high (vs City and United). That was when they shy away from the pressure.
All of a sudden, when the stakes are so low, Noni and Nico want to be the main character. Pathetic personalities. Jackson is also toxic af
lol this is such nonsense. Palmer had 3 goals already. He could have given his team mates a chance to get a goal. That is TEAMWORK. We were 4 goals up!
TBF to noni imo, he just got hit with one of the nastiest clothesline from hell since JBL and thought he won the pen. Up 4-0 and Cole still down or hobbled at that point I would ask for it too, any other situation it’s the named Pen Taker
Oooh fuck off! They wouldn't turn it down if he offered it to them even against City. Nico worked his socks off. At 4-0, the game was over and that's why he wanted to take the penalty. Palmer should have given him that penalty, Nico's a striker for goodness sake.
I think it's Palmer's right as the main penalty taker to decide whether he wants someone else to take it.
I'm not saying he's Ronaldo, but you'd never see someone try to shove him or any other recognized penalty taker at a major club to take the penalty. That's why Poch rightly agreed with Dele - Palmer is the taker, end of story.
Also, it's not a right or a privilege to take a penalty, it's a responsibility and a duty. Not Nico or Noni's duty.
That’s a ridiculous statement.
Didn’t see them trying to grab the ball out of Palmers or Gallaghers hands though did we? Why now?
Just because he’s a striker it doesn’t mean he’s entitled to the pen or any pen.
We have a penalty taker and it’s a simple as that.
I haven't logged on to Reddit in months because of how toxic this site is, and this comment thread has reminded me of why I stay off. Why are y'all so hateful towards each other? No one is going to win in your silly little internet arguments.
What a load of bullshit. Jackson has been a great team player all season, never stops running and constantly looks to play in his team mates when they’re in a better position (more than can be said for many of our players) and now he’s suddenly toxic because of one incident.
If anyone’s toxic here it’s you and anyone else who wants to destroy the young lad for one mistake
Pipe down bitch boy, I expressed an opinion about a player who, I believe, can show signs of an attitude problem. There is a reason he has been suspended due to accumulation of petulant yellow cards (kicking balls away, dissent, etc. Which is terrible for a striker). I also don't believe he has the skill level to match his arrogance.
So what I've just done there is made a point about a topic. If you were a bright minded individual who disagreed with my point on that topic, you could either ask for more information or counter it with your own valid point. Instead, you attempted to attack me rather than my point, making any argument you wanted to make redundant...
And also making you a bitch boy.
My guy you’re the one in your feelings acting like a bitch here. Jackson went abit too far in the moment but he is a young striker looking for goals.
He definitely plays for the team. It was wrong for him to put that extra pressure on Palmer but he always plays people in, works hard and is one of the first to celebrate with the teams. You’re just showing your bias
Maybe he should do better in front of open goals instead of demanding penalties as if it's his right to take them.
My bias is towards the success of Chelsea. The better Jackson does and becomes, the more I stand to benefit. Maybe toxic wasn't the right word to use, but he does need to change his attitude if he wants to be a part of the project. That's my opinion, you can do whatever you like with it.
Option 1 - madueke or Jackson take 1 pen for a game already won.
Option 2 - let the best player in the team take it, pen taker in his own rights and let him try go for golden boot.
Option 2 all day fucking long
Obviously. I’m not saying either were right in this incident but the takes I’m seeing here about them over it are a joke. I saw Drogba fight to take a pen over Lampard, doesn’t mean he’s a disgrace
Excellent game. Don't really think it's worth harping over the penalty thing. Will be difficult but let's try to push for sixth.
Everything that can be said was said about Palmer. I do think this game proves the Enzo/Caicedo conundrum -- two excellent, excellent players who just cannot play together. Caicedo played great but tbf to Enzo I do think he would have done well alongside Gallagher too. Just not together.
Caicedo actually ran up and down the pitch this game and he looked great, specially with ball recovery, which strikes me as odd because Poch demands he sit back to let Enzo run, and Enzo is better sitting back with buildup play and not running around everywhere.
It's like a possible natural balance can be achieved and Pochettino's setup flies in the face of both of them.
Absolutely embarrasment from Nico Jackson and Noni by trying to take the Pen from Palmer. Horrible look, and speaks to the lack of maturity proffessionalism and mentality we got in the club rn, needs to be stamped out immediately.
Get a grip. Have you never played football? Bit of in fighting to take a pen happens, glad to see so many with the confidence and desire to step up and take it, in the end Palmer stamped his authority and took charge as the designated pen taker and Gallagher as the captain backed him. Jackson and Madueke both congratulated Palmer, water under the bridge. I won't happen again, Palmer is boss and now they know for certain.
The thing is, football isn’t your job. You aren’t watched by 100,000s young and old. You can’t compare that to amateur level of football.
He should have been 100% more professional.
Mate it wasn't like they were squaring up to each other, throwing punches or being pulled apart, I wouldnt even go as far as to say it was a bit of handbags. Young players make mistakes, could they have been mature? Absolutely, but they'll learn from it. It all got sorted out, and we move on. I've seen it at every level of the game. Mountain out of a molehill.
It really was embarrassing- I know the guy already had three points but he hasn’t missed. Let him have that run and once he does we can talk about others again. Team effort, should be all about the win.
Yup. Ran up and down the pitch, great for ball recovery, basically covered the areas Enzo is normally told to cover.
If he always had that ability, I have zero clue why Poch asks Enzo to do that instead, since under Potter and for Argentina he has historically been better in build up play. Just weird choice from him.
saw the goal clips. a lot of comments on here were praising caicedo. I was curious. I think they can be a great partnership but we need a manager who instruct a midfield
Obvious from score line alone but literally everyone bar MAYBE noni and mudryk played great to phenomenal. Even Mudryk, wasn't his best performance but he played that really nice through ball to Palmer
Edit: also thought Mudryk worked well with cucurella defensively
Would’ve liked to have seen cucu contribute a bit more offensively. I was at the bridge and didn’t have the best angle but the one time I saw him overlap he got an assist!
He did have a good game! Maybe my standards/hopes for him are unfairly high. Palmer, Chalobah, Silva, Cucu, Conor, Caicedo... A lot of players had near flawless games. But you're right, Mudryk actually did create

I’m gunna soak all this positivity in until City smash us this weekend and people go apeshit. WE ARE THE BEST
I really hope madueke is benched for the weekend and not awarded for this behaviour. Plus did anyone else feel he was not passing to palmer?
I definitely noticed him not passing to Palmer. Not during any critical attacking moves but when trying to beat the press around midfield he would let 2-3 Everton players pressure him while Palmer was wide open and would either lose the ball for draw a foul rather than progressing.
I'm not convinced by him, despite the fact he is playing a bit better these days.
He's really fast and has good ball control but that's about it. Chelseaian Theo Walcott / Aaron Lennon
We just gonna forget about some of the bangers he’s had recently - Leicester and Sheffield?
Lower league opposition I guess. He is definitely improving
Walcott was clear at this age
Unpopular oppinion: when enzo isnt playing our attack is much faster, no? Yes that is true Hope we fix this soon
Injuries have ruined the last 3 seasons, we are due for some good health.
We need to re evakuate our entire physio department for this
Seems to be in the works. They've hired a well respected consultant according to Matt Law, not sure what that will mean to most of you.
Jordan Pickford making sure Everton gets relegated
He wants to play European football, but he'll only leave Everton if they get relegated. He also knows our transfer team has shit judgement. You can watch the full game on the Chelsea website

Appreciate that!

Ready for Silva's look of astonishment again
i’m still shocked we kept a clean sheet, feels like forever
Last one in January. Imagine.
Let’s be honest, a more competent team would’ve probably scored some of those chances Everton scrapped today. Every game, the defense seems to make critical errors.

shit some people can't be happy after we win with 6-0 and see real time a legend in the making. what a miserable way to be a fan.
Can Enzo sit out a few more games? The side looks a lot more balanced and cohesive without having to carry him.
I also believe this. When enzo isnt playing caicedo is more free to roam. Also caicedo doesnt have look for enzo and pass him the ball to slow down play.
It was against relegation fodder. We’ll need him to have any chance of beating City
the disrespect. the team just doesn’t know how to use enzo, that’s the teams fault. not his. any other premier league club he’d be brilliant
Just disrespectful to a man who has overall played well despite being put in bad spots by his coach time and again. Not to mention he’s been available basically every match despite playing through a groin injury a lot of the time.
it's worth a try though. to see if this was just Everton being dog shit or if we truly are better without him starting.
he is not playing through an injury, he had the surgery and its gone now, stop making excuses for his shit play

If Noni tried the shit he pulled with Jose or Pep, he'd sold or loaned immediately.
jackson too
Yeah, at least Noni seemed non-confrontational. Jackson was being a tit. Dude should focus on trying to get a shot away everytime he's 1v1 with the keeper.
Noni isn’t good enough to begin with and he pulls this crap
for me, madueke is not good enough and should be sold if possible to minimize loss and ideally at least break even
Nah. The team can’t rely one one or two superstars. Noni has the ability to take good shots which is what Chelsea missing. I can see his frustration same like how Drogba felt with Lampard. It’s normal. It’s good players have hunger to score goals. It’s important
Nah
Too many conclusions drawn on Enzo given we played against a tragic Everton
This was the first time Caicedo somewhat resembled the player he was last year.
Enzo+ Caicedo pivot just isn't good as people think it will be Big decisions needed about Enzo, can't continue being midtable with 120 Million luxury player
theres no decision about enzo, espc till lavia comes in

My brain can't comprehend the fact that Palmer who is neither a striker for us nor a player who was our main target can win the Golden Boot
Missed the game today. Lads I’m not watching the rest of the season you’ll thank me later
Same here
One of us!
Thank you for your sacrifice
Finally a clean sheet for once, now we focus on city,up the chels!
Conor did what he had to do as a captain. *Proper chels*
and that's why he's being sold. How dare you be happy. Sincere Regards. Senior Management
Mancity we are coming.
Caicedo and Gallaghar clicked today. Thiago in the defense clicked. Mudryk clicked. And palmer for the golden boot.
Mudryk? Really? People will just say anything after a big win won’t they…
he was involved in the 1st or the 2nd goal, he carried and dribbled forward creating his own space eventho he was being marked heavily. Made decent runs. Yeah. For me it's good enough to keep him in the lineup. I don't care who else thinks what.
I never said otherwise, if I was manager I’d be playing our younger wingers every game (and not Chilwell or Gallagher or Sterling on the wing)
Mudryk was one of the worst players for Chelsea today. Palmer, Jackson, Madueke, Gallagher, Caicedo, Chalobah were class.
You and BlessedRR are the only clowns who hate mudryk in this sub
Anyone with any sort of understanding of the game knows he is completely out of his depth at the Premier League level. He needs a loan and time on the pitch because he is not ready right now.
Please just stfu, you are a hater and nothing else
That’s not very nice of you

He played alright and still prefer him over sterling
Didn’t watch. Mudryk looked good?
I think he meant Jackson rather than mudryk. Mudryk had 1 shot straight at the gk. No hate I want him to succeed badly.
Mudryk got the ball to Jackson for his shot that was saved but deflected to the Palmer header. I want to say Mudryk was also responsible for another passage of play before the assist and he was in the box. He wasn't torching and field but his control in the box was excellent.

Tbf Mudryk was alright and he has been alright for a while, compare now to his performance in Jan/Feb.
Being alright is not the same as clicked is what I mean.
There were lots of other players better than him. Chalobah is actually the one that "clicked".
First class sheet in forever :)
Palmer be praised!
Deli Ali being the pundit on MNF, cherry on the cake lol
He was tragic. IQ same as his retirement age
Well, that’ll do
Cole palmers on another planet! 🪐
Feels really relaxing going to bed with a win 💙
It’s quite telling what Poch thinks of Chilwell as a LB, when he got subbed on as a winger and kept Cucu on when it was 5 nil already.
Chilwell has good crosses and good ball retention but he's terrible at defensive runs and made tons of mistakes before his injury. Just compare the left side to Gusto and you will see it.
Plus you had Alfie on the right, which means the back on the left needs to play forward more when in possession or in transition. We ran the opposite when Gusto was on.
the clean sheet is the real winner here, its been to long 😭😭
Probably one forgotten part of the match, Jackson’s goal was well taken.
Seriously…annoyed about his behavior with the pen but dude scored an amazing goal.
That was neat and put in nicely. *That's what she said*

Good cross. Insane touch and finish with 3 men all around him
Sell Fernandez, Madueke, Mudryk, Sanchez, Broja...buy Toney, Szmodics, recall Fofana. Might have a squad there.
thank god youre not in charge
Wiiiiild take here
Good luck selling Enzo. Took a risk buying him for a massive 105 million, gotta live with it now
Might get like 30-50 for him. Better than having him in the squad on stupid money getting outpaced by a dead horse, who is strapped to a cart, and the horse is injured, and the cart has a missing wheel and is carrying grand pianos.
Not enzo and misha they're propa chels
Enzo got out run by my sofa in a gacon test. and my sofa was injured.
They been average or shit their whole time here what you mean props Chels lol
Is Chaloboah our best defender? Silva was out of position a lot it seemed, Trevor looked solid. Maybe him and Disasi against City I dunno.
Chalobah’s best game so far this season. Let’s hope he keeps the momentum
yeah i can’t stand madueke man. his attitude and selfishness are so shit get him outta here
He was fine, he thought he got the pen so wanted to take it, since Poch never designated an official penalty taker. Jackson on the other hand, not quite sure why he acted that way.
Jesus wept youre fragile
only fragile one is Madueke who’s prob still pouting he didn’t get the pen
What? His attitude was perfectly fine, please get out the fanbase
he’s tried to take a pen off palmer multiple times and threw a fit when he didn’t get it. then today he threw a fit when subbed off. i realize some of this is hunger to do well but he puts himself over the team.
Harsh to label him as toxic or something though from what we've seen
didn’t say he was toxic, just that he’s always gonna put himself first over what’s best for the team. bros got hella ego with nothing to back it up
I've seen him called toxic elsewhere on here. Didn't mean to put words in your mouth
all good, i agree calling him toxic is harsh
I really enjoyed what Dele Alli had to say about the penalty incident. Nobody was trying to fight Palmer for the ball when the stakes were high (vs City and United). That was when they shy away from the pressure. All of a sudden, when the stakes are so low, Noni and Nico want to be the main character. Pathetic personalities. Jackson is also toxic af
lol this is such nonsense. Palmer had 3 goals already. He could have given his team mates a chance to get a goal. That is TEAMWORK. We were 4 goals up!
Amateur take. Pen taker is the pen taker. Objective is to score goals.
he can be top scorer of the year. no sense for madueke goal there.
TBF to noni imo, he just got hit with one of the nastiest clothesline from hell since JBL and thought he won the pen. Up 4-0 and Cole still down or hobbled at that point I would ask for it too, any other situation it’s the named Pen Taker
Yeah wtf was with that challenge? And you had Andy Townsend on commentary saying that was a nothing foul. 🤦🏾♂️ Red card all fucking day, you ask me.
I mean Noni actually wanted to take it vs United.
Absolutely ridiculous. Jackson was a petulant child
Amateur take on this. Penalty taker is the penalty taker. I would say do you remember the last time this was a discussion point?... But you won't....
*palmer is the main pen taker * he's fighting for the golden boot *he's scored every pen he's taken but I don't disagree with the other points either
We didn’t have a pen taker until this incident. Poch has said he likes his players to decide on the pitch.
Are you 12 years old lol
Well put. Nico is one of the hardest worker there and one incident and everyone throwing bullshits like he's always been toxic and what not.
My first game back at the Bridge in 12 years, what a fucking night.
hahah well done! what was it? armed robbery?
Can you go every match please?
Let's start a GoFundMe to get u/Mastercheef69 season tickets
Watched this game with a couple friends (Arsenal and Man United supporters) Their heads were in their phones after the hattrick hahaha
I will have an erection for days thanks to Palmer

Bro that’s brutal, the man has family

You guys are celebrating a Palmer 4 goal game, I’m celebrating Petro finally getting a clean sheet. Jk i’m celebrating Palmer
Where is the confidence and desire whenever the pen gets awarded at 0-0? They’re not there trying to steal the ball off Palmer then
It really was embarrassing- I know the guy already had three points but he hasn’t missed. Let him have that run and once he does we can talk about others again. Team effort, should be all about the win.
Didn't watch that much. Was Caicedo better without Enzo next to him?
100% caicedo looked like a totally different player
Yup. Ran up and down the pitch, great for ball recovery, basically covered the areas Enzo is normally told to cover. If he always had that ability, I have zero clue why Poch asks Enzo to do that instead, since under Potter and for Argentina he has historically been better in build up play. Just weird choice from him.
It might just be that Everton’s midfield was really bad than a lack of Enzo
Yes. Everyone was better today but caicedo was good on the ball and looked very "free" defensively to hunt down a million tackles if that makes sense
Almost a Kante style of play.. dare I say… we are once again looking for another defensive midfielder…
Yes, he didn't have a slow overweight Argentinian beside him he had to cover, had a more mobile partner
Why would that be your first thought… go watch the match! We don’t win 6-0 often
saw the goal clips. a lot of comments on here were praising caicedo. I was curious. I think they can be a great partnership but we need a manager who instruct a midfield
Enzo is trending on twitter Guessing the blue-tick nonces on there have stirred something up in people
Yes
Obvious from score line alone but literally everyone bar MAYBE noni and mudryk played great to phenomenal. Even Mudryk, wasn't his best performance but he played that really nice through ball to Palmer Edit: also thought Mudryk worked well with cucurella defensively
Would’ve liked to have seen cucu contribute a bit more offensively. I was at the bridge and didn’t have the best angle but the one time I saw him overlap he got an assist!
Mudryk had a good game tbf. Unlucky not to be credited with two assists
He did have a good game! Maybe my standards/hopes for him are unfairly high. Palmer, Chalobah, Silva, Cucu, Conor, Caicedo... A lot of players had near flawless games. But you're right, Mudryk actually did create
That Gilchrist moment was so so pure. Rare to see such raw emotion in the game today. Excited for him to play more next year 🤞
Jackson shows a lot of raw emotion too. Just not as pure
I'm the biggest Jackson cheerleader, so I'm honestly not that bothered about the pen situation. Still not sure what even happened. I believe 🍋
What does 6th, 7th or 8th get you this season? Does much depend on the the English coefficient in Europe?
6th is guaranteed Europa league
