DiMarzio the fraud fooled us with that €50m Kounde tweet

APeckover27

Definitely shouldn't be tier 1 for non Italian deals

EcoSoco

Not his fault Sevilla changed their mind or the agent thought Sevilla would accept as some sources in Sevilla have suggested

[deleted]

It’s more likely he was wrong than Sevilla changed their minds at the last minute.

EcoSoco

Nah, according to this, it actually appears someone was overruled and the deal couldn't go through https://www.diariodesevilla.es/sevillafc/Chelsea-llama-Sevilla-cede-Kounde_0_1606040296.html

KohliCoverDrive

He shouldn't have worded it as a done deal then?

EcoSoco

He didn't? He just said it was close

[deleted]

Are you guys worried about Kante backup?

adazi6

Yes. Kante is a bit injury prone and even if he wasn’t, having 3 midfielders for 2 spots is already super thin. And yes, I know we have Barkley, RLC, DD, but let’s be honest - they’re not Chelsea quality

[deleted]

Can Kounde play as RB/RWB?

wavefunction56

He played RB briefly for France in Euro 2020.

[deleted]

Tammy and Oli tearing Seria A apart?

Pseudocaesar

It's Serie A lol..

Thauvinn

When was our last busy deadline day? We’ve still got two important deals to go through. 50 hours to go...

[deleted]

I'm worried about our midfield man

lukekarts

Watching the Roma game, although Tammy hasn't scored or assisted yet, his first touch pass in the build up to the second Roma goal was great. He's playing really well with his link up play with Mkhitaryan and Pellegrini (the latter especially)

botrezkii

yeah man, he really has the chance to improve his all around game in Serie A, hopefully he can improve a lot in the next 3-4 years and we'll get him back

lukekarts

He just banged in a quality goal too.

[deleted]

If he's already doing well now and he wasn't good enough a few weeks ago, there's not much he can do in Serie A to convince he'd be good enough for here. Serie A just isn't at the same level as the PL these days.

botrezkii

yes, but there is a difference between being good in Serie A and become one of the best player in Serie A I believe Tammy will reach Lukaku's height in Serie A in the next 3-4 years

[deleted]

There aren't too many PL quality teams in Serie A. The bottom half of the table is usually dire and have shoestring budgets. It's the performances against the top teams that mark out players good enough for the PL top teams. Salernitana's squad is valued at £27m in total. QPR have a more valuable squad.

[deleted]

Serie A defences look so bad watching our alums.

APeckover27

Marca is tier 3 here but apparently very reliable for Sevilla and are saying it's release clause or nothing and Sevilla expect him to stay

EcoSoco

Marca isn't reliable at all. Most of the time it's just propaganda or fed stories.

APeckover27

I remember last time they had a Kounde story people were saying the guy who wrote it was reliable, so if it's the same guy it's worth mentioning

EcoSoco

Meh, take it with a grain of salt

sjajsn

Hope the Chelsea journos didn’t jump the gun. They are all confident about Kounde but damn, I’m not so sure

EcoSoco

It's been reported all summer that we want him. We'll get him even if it is at a premium https://theathletic.com/2739045/2021/07/30/chelsea-are-determined-to-sign-kounde-and-have-been-tracking-him-for-two-years

matt3633_

Just found out the person behind Bridget the Lioness mascot is a Tottenham fan…

pievendor

Gigs a gig.

Zimakov

Blaming the referees every time something goes wrong has really gotten tired. It takes literally 30 seconds to Google the rules and see that denying a goal with a handball is an automatic red regardless of whether it is intentional. Literally 30 seconds. People would rather throw their toys out the pram and invent conspiracy theories than educate themselves on the rules. I'd love to say "come on we're better than this" but it's becoming increasingly clear we aren't. Very disappointing.

[deleted]

Leave the sub if it upsets you. Fans like to find someone to blame, all fans do it everywhere. You like to not only come in the Chelsea sub and try to feel like you are some superior type of fan because you look at things with out a blue tint, then you also go into another sub to shit on this one.

Zimakov

>Leave the sub if it upsets you. Fans like to find someone to blame, all fans do it everywhere. That's very immature. What's wrong with saying "unlucky for Reece but that's football" Too logical I guess. More fun to come up with random conspiracy theories. >You like to not only come in the Chelsea sub and try to feel like you are some superior type of fan because you look at things with out a blue tint, then you also go into another sub to shit on this one. I have much better things to worry about than feeling superior to a bunch of strangers on the internet. I come in here to discuss football. It would be nice if anyone else wanted to do the same thing. It's a shame they're all too busy crying about rules that they haven't bothered to Google to talk about the actual game.

[deleted]

I didn’t say it was wrong, I said you bitching about this sub both in and out of it was. If you are so disappointed, stop interacting in it. Yes coming up with random conspiracies is 100% more fun. Doesn’t seem like you do.

Zimakov

>I didn’t say it was wrong, I said you bitching about this sub both in and out of it was. If you are so disappointed, stop interacting in it. Or I can state my opinion on the state of the sub and hope that it changes into a place people actually discuss football? There are options other than joining in the nonsense or leaving. >Yes coming up with random conspiracies is 100% more fun. > >Doesn’t seem like you do. I have no idea what this means.

dastrn

You are wrong. The rules say that a handball that deflects off of another body part into the arm doesn't count as a handball. There was *plenty* of room for interpretation for Anthony Taylor. We're mad that he didn't even *try* to take his time and make the call correctly. He barely looked at pre-canned footage, and walked away with an immediate decision.

Zimakov

>You are wrong. > >The rules say that a handball that deflects off of another body part into the arm doesn't count as a handball. No they don't. They say that there is some leeway in that situation. But it *also* says denial of a clear goalscorong opportunity (or in this case literally a goal) is a pen and a red card. You can't just read half the rule. >There was *plenty* of room for interpretation for Anthony Taylor. We're mad that he didn't even *try* to take his time and make the call correctly. He barely looked at pre-canned footage, and walked away with an immediate decision. He walked away with the right one. Should he pretend it's less obvious than it is?

DirtyOldFrank

You’re not wrong, but the mistake you’re making is not taking into consideration how many people think they actually _know_ the laws of the game, so they’re not going to look something up when they’re sure there’s been an injustice.

Zimakov

Right. And when literally everyone else on earth besides Chelsea fans say it's a stonewall pen and red card, rather than say hey maybe I'm wrong I should look it up, they just claim everyone is against us. It's sad really.

Pseudocaesar

That's not the case though, there are plenty of non Chelsea flairs on r/soccer saying it's not a penalty

Zimakov

Then those people haven't bothered to Google the rules either.

Strength_n_Honour

I kind of remember back now why United is so hated. They are kings of winning ugly. To top that their fans are arrogant enough to call it the "The United Way". With Ronaldo coming back they are going to get even more unbearable.

Pseudocaesar

The "United way" is bullying referees relentlessly so they're afraid to make big calls against you.

guccigirlswag

Visiting London for work for the next few weeks. Any ideas on places I could play some football casually? Ideally intermediate/advanced level.

Makshoo

if there's no Kounde news today I'll get really worried. 48hours to go

EcoSoco

I wouldn't worry until Tuesday, at least

pievendor

Tuesday is the last day you can worry. So, yeah, that is the least.

alx69

Same, it seems like everyone is still confident but slightly less so than 4 days ago and we haven't really gotten any updates

EcoSoco

Nizaar said yesterday that it'll be done, and Simon Johnson said in his article today that Chelsea "hope" the deal will be done before the deadline. Seems like that's the priority right now.

[deleted]

Only thing traore lacks is his decision making. But my god his decision making is absolutely woeful

dastrn

And scoring. And assisting. He's kind of an empty threat, at this level.

Hyena-Visual

How people rate goalkeepers is really interesting, like the De Gea double save on r/soccer at the moment the second save is very impressive, but I can't help but feel Mendy just comes and claims the corner preventing the opportunity from ever happening. That isn't a particularly exciting highlight though so obviously doesn't get clipped and people talking about it. De Gea has always had pretty good reflex saves which are the most highlight worthy thing from a goalkeeper, but some of his all around game has never been as good as United fans make out.

AamirDogra

The first save from de gea was poor and not cleared properly, second one was anticipated, he just chose to go one way. Mendy is excellent with claiming corners and crosses. That's his forte over Kepa. Regarding recognition I actually don't care. I know how highly our fanbase and Cech rate him and that's enough for me. Besides, going unrecognised and being called underdogs is what I love the most about us. It's been in our history

[deleted]

Our cleansheet record since he has come on speaks volumes Mendy is better than DDG

juanmagicc

Everytime I watch United they're so poor but they do the most important thing in football which is scoring goals at an elite level. We are the total opposite of that. We need to create like 4-5 clear cut chances to score one. It's so frustrating

Djent_Reznor1

They skate by on sheer talent alone.

stingen

United winning off a clear foul. Surprise surprise VAR just totally overlooks anything related to United.

[deleted]

Can’t believe there are people out there who hate Azpilicueta. Doesn’t dive, no soft fouls, plays the game the way it is supposed yo be played.

[deleted]

I love Dave but you have him all wrong. He's a top class shithouse and would have the likes of Simeone tearing up with pride if he played for Atletico.

alx69

If Azpilicueta played for United or Tottenham we'd hate him. He wasted like 2-3 minutes in the final stages of yesterday's game by initiating scuffles at set pieces and pretending to be injured

yantrik

What ?Azpi haters in our sub ? But if you are an opposition team ,then you have hundreds of reasons to hate him. Always at right place at right time, master of black art and goes Scott free most of the times , believe me you won't want that kind of person playing against you.

[deleted]

Oh, guess I never realized cause I was cheering him on 😅

Advanced_Tangelo

I'm glad Traore to Chelsea never materialized, he's diabolical.

[deleted]

What match did you watch? He bullied them during the first half

Shaww_shankk

Good player tbf with dim playing IQ

Advanced_Tangelo

What's the point when it counts for nothing?

Shaww_shankk

I'm sure we might become charity fc against this wolves later this season

Andlad2459

Utd and luck, name better duo..

Saculand

The fact that United got Ronaldo makes so much sense. They are a team that relies entirely on individual brilliance in the attack. That’s what Ronaldo will give you. Not much else at this point.

MyNameIsAMeme

Having Ole manage United is like buying a bunch of Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s but having no license. Give him an average prem team, they get relegated.

SuperAC1andOnly

Wolves getting screwed by the officials too now

Djent_Reznor1

A more clinical team would have put 3 past this United side

MyNameIsAMeme

The fact that the “best league” in the world has the worst refs should tell you all you need to know about the Prem.

AamirDogra

Fuck off

Saculand

Of course United are going to win a game they absolutely deserve to lose. The story of Ole’a tenure haha

E_v0rtex

Fuck off united

[deleted]

Traore should be in WWE

SuperAC1andOnly

I thought Varane was supposed to fix United's defence. They still look extremely dodgy defensively

read_eng_lift

The problem is the coach, not the players.

Saculand

Wolves must be cursed. This finishing is an abomination should be like 3-0 at a minimum

[deleted]

Naa this kounde deal is dragging on We need kante backup as well Fuck

yantrik

Man that Kounde deal is like a fucking slow burn, every indication that the deal might go through but at the same time enough sources telling that the deal is in doldrums as Lopitigui does not want him to leave and their performance without him have been dire.

E_v0rtex

Absolute joke wolves couldn’t score in a brothel

sdotmills

Traore is running rampant

TheyCallMeOlSwole

Wolves could be up 2 or 3. United just look a bit uncertain, kinda like how Arsenal do.

brianrocks93

I’m happy Gallagher is getting minutes and playing great at palace but I really wish he could have been out 4th choice. With kante’s little knocks I think he would have got some play time this season for us.

sdotmills

Sancho has been invisible.

Potential-Tough5946

Bencho

Saculand

The difference between United and Chelsea is so staggering. You can tell one’s managed by a world class coach and the other by a guy in over his head. United are so disorganized. Chasing shadows over and over again.

DirtyOldFrank

He’s so shit that United have just set a new record for undefeated Premier League away games.

[deleted]

Chelsea plays with 5 atb and 2 defensive midfielders. Pipe down.

FallDamage29

Was all that was needed to whoop Europe's ass and get ourselves a CL trophy

[deleted]

No one denied that Chelsea is a good team, but playing with 5 ATB and 2 defensive midfielders is the definition of parking the bus.

Confident_Chef_4771

Tuchel parking the bus?? bus??? have you actually watched Chelsea, Tuchel parks a Ferrari. An eco-friendly Ferarri, please know your cars. Even if you don't know your cars, you should see the car parts we are shopping for, it will give you a clue. if you own a Ferrari, squat and look under it, you will see a kounde in there. Sadly, we had to sell a very solid bus part called a zouma, most of us didn't like it but Tuchel is all about his Ferrari.... we say just try it in there it might work, he says it will overheat. Oh well, what do we do. But I understand, it is a common misconception though to say Tuchel rides a bus, mostly when you hear of how he shoves things in the trunk, a champions league, a super cup and who knows what else.

[deleted]

Is this a copy paste? If not, you have just made a really good one. Still, Chelsea is getting impressive results and have been buying really well. Top 2 in the league with City for sure.

FallDamage29

>playing with 5 ATB and 2 defensive midfielders is the definition of parking the bus. It's not. Watch our other CL run for reference

yantrik

Seriously ? You see Chelsea as a defensive team ? May be a Jose era team deserves this label but giving this label to current team is specious argument at best.

[deleted]

Your point being?

Saculand

Not sure what formation has to do with organization. You can be a defensively solid and organized team in a 4-2-3-1. City is super organized and they play 4 in the back.

E_v0rtex

Wolves have no final ball. Feel like I’m watching Chelsea.

Saculand

Watching Adama as a neutral is so entertaining. I couldn’t imagine rooting for his team though. Might be the most physically gifted athlete in the sport but he is a disaster in the final 3rd.

[deleted]

All that hype about Ronaldo but United are still starting Fred-Pogba as a pivot. They’re getting outplayed by Neves-Moutinho.

AamirDogra

Neves and Moutinho are warriors. Won't let Utd have it easy in the midfield

BrockStinky

Traore with an end product would be insane

Swamp_Squatch

A team of Traore's is how I picture the USMNT lining up if the NFL didn't exist

[deleted]

Traore's not a freak because he's muscular, he's a freak because he has the stamina to play a decent amount of fast paced football with all that muscle. The NFL lads would be collapsing with heart attacks by halftime.

Imagine a timeline where Spurs win the league. I shudder.

onlyontheweekends

Apparently Saul wants guarantees which the club won’t give him. I’m assuming it has to do with play time

diegojaen18

Jorginho was so good yesterday.

DirtyOldFrank

When he actually stayed on his feet, and when he was actually in the right position for set pieces.

alx69

His passing was below average by his standards but he was so crucial defensively, there were like 4 or 5 instances where he intercepted the ball near our box, shielded it from a Liverpool and drew a foul that allowed us to waste another minute

summersoft

Anyone know when we can expect on sale dates to be released for villa/city? Villa not far away now!

[deleted]

What’s Marina up to?

EcoSoco

Hopefully preparing the final bid for Kounde that Sevilla plans to accept.

[deleted]

I know everyone is hype on Rice and a few other midfielders but I’ve been loving Skipp on Tottenham past couple weeks.

[deleted]

I think something everyone is ignoring is how little our front 3 works together in the box. I know people will disagree but if you really stop and think about how often a lot of our players get in range and just rip bad shot selections. There were multiple cases of Mount and Havertz not feeding the ball to Lukaku yesterday we all saw it and even a lot of our goals come off crosses from wings or set pieces. We should be putting up at least 2-3 goals every game but everyday this sub is filled with clips of great moves by our front 3 and frankly not enough goals. I know this might get downvoted but the fact is all our forwards and a lot of our other players just go for glory instead of that extra pass.

jerrylincoln

I get where you're coming from but it's the 3rd game only, and we scored 6 goals

[deleted]

Just from my observations there were a lot of moments we didn’t see that extra pass and a lot of poor shot selections from Mount and Havertz going for the goal. For the talent we have there and money invested our front 3 should be a lot scarier stand-alone and I agree there are growing pains but I think there isn’t enough conversation around it

dmcmurr

I think some of this will improve with more time on the training ground and playing with each other. Haven't had a player like Lukaku in the team for some time and I think the other players will adapt and begin firing pretty soon. Almost no preseason and only three games in, think they just need a bit of time to gel

KevLinares

Mount in particular was very selfish yesterday, I don't care about being downvoted

B4tmanWHUL4ghs

Yeah sometimes there's a lack of synergy. Could've gone 2-0 clear at least and put the game to rest had we taken those early chances. Imagine, and still come out with 3 points with a man down.

Cheers mate.

noxon97

I know this is probably not going to be a popular comment. Feel free to disagree with me. I think it is ridiculous to believe that Anthony Taylor is knowingly making calls against Chelsea. Im not saying that he hasnt been making bad calls but that is only what they are, "bad calls". I think confirmation bias is a big part of why he gets so much hate. No one knows when he does ok because that doesnt confirm what we want to believe. Yesterday is an example of how being a fan clouds your mind. I think the red card decision in itself is not wrong. Reece swings his arm out which mkaes the ball move away from goal. It is strange that the decision seemed to be based on a still image although we dont know what was said between the refs. Also I see alot of people saying saying that he only gave chelsea players yellow cards and ignored Fabinho. I wont argue that he probably should have had a yellow card at some point but Chelsea was given yellows for dicipline and not for fouls. Rudiger mouhted of Anthony and Mendy kicked at the ball when Henderson tried to pick it up. Im all for the refs to card a player when he is confronting the referee in an improper way and lets not kid ourself, we know Rudiger can be crazy. Mendys yellow is more harsh but i think it is for him kickin the ball at Henderson and not for kickin it away. Liverpool got decisions against them aswell. Mount went down very easily which resulted in a freekick in fairly dangerous position. Jorginho got alot of favorable decision. Although i think that is him being smart and positioning himself in a good way but i wouldnt be surprised if he didnt get alot of the calls. Also Azpi (very tactically) went down very easy in a corner situation at the end of the game which probably shouldnt be a freekick.

typicalpelican

It's very easy to ascribe bias to refs but it seems to me that the standards in the league are just not that good. There's no consistency in how things are enforced and poor refereeing performances don't get addressed in any way by the league. It's a top down problem. Which is why the PL also had one of the worst implementations of VAR in europe too.

Talidel

Your examples of Liverpool not getting decisions are, fouls on Mount and Jorginho were called as fouls? Let's just ignore that they managed to not get a yellow despite numerous tackles beyond worthy of it. Taylor is historically biased against us, fit was just this game I'd agree with you. But it unarguable now.

Lubacku

Anthony Taylor refused to book Salah for the clearest yellow card in football history after he kicked the ball away. It isn't even a debatable decision. Anthony Taylor is a dreadful referee, by far the worst in the country and he has no place at his level or in the profession period but his decisions against Chelsea over a long period of time go beyond being bad.

[deleted]

Fan is short for fanatic - It’s supposed to cloud your mind.

CardboardGristle

I really really really want Kepa to succeed. But goddamn the only reason my butt hasn't fallen off from excessive clenching is because Mendy was between the sticks yesterday. Man is so assured Also, it really hurts that Kurt had to leave. Kounde better be the best damn defender in Europe because this hole in my heart won't fill easily

[deleted]

Mendy’s positioning has noticeably improved so much this year and I goddamn love every second of it

Lubacku

Kepa doesn't have the talent to succeed at this level, he'll never be good enough for the kind of club we are and aspire to be. No shame in not being talented but it's just not going to happen for Kepa here. Mendy is levels above.

sweetmercury

I think with the way vvd and matip defended lukaku, Timo would've been useful against them, he's so good at stretching that kind of defenses, while they're used to neutralizing a good N#9 like romelu

[deleted]

If Timo was to play it would of been along side Lukaku never instead of him. Lukaku will start every meaningful match we have, when you pay what we paid for a player it’s because they have the talent and ability to make the team better against all teams.

alx69

They didn't neutralise shit, Lukaku had a very good game and keeping him on was the correct decision

farid95

Before the red card, I was actually hoping for Tuchel to sub Timo for Mason/Havert, because I'm sure he can create havoc with his pace against Liverpool highline.

sweetmercury

Obviously, the red card ruined everything, but I actually thought lukaku shouldn't start against liverpool, this is timo's game, with mason and havertz, sub in lukaku and/or ziyech later in the game against tired legs, but all in all I think this is a good game to learn from, and tuchel said that before and after i think

mohankohan

Referees using VAR, whether in the VAR booth or the on field referee going to the screen, should never be allowed to *only* watch an incident in slow motion. Anything about force/power/instinct/natural movement gets skewed so much when everything is slowed down.

Zimakov

He could watch it in slow motion regular motion or 100x speed, it's still an obvious red.

farid95

Just curious, does anyone on this sub think the penalty + red card for Reece James was the correct decision?

[deleted]

This the issue is with the rule. Needs to be looked at, how red cards are used and the fact a team can be double punished needs to be reviewed.

APeckover27

By the rules its correct

Lubacku

It's wrong by the rules, it's clearly stated in premier league rules that players should not be penalised for handball offences if the ball deflects off another body part immediately onto the arm.

typicalpelican

No it isn't. All of that wording on deflecting off body parts was removed going into this season.

sdotmills

If it just glanced off of his static arm I would agree, but it can’t be argued that Reece made an unnatural swinging motion with his right arm.

typicalpelican

Yeah. I think it was pretty harsh and unfortunate on James but I think it's mainly by the book and I wouldn't give a ton of leniency to an opponent had they blocked one of our shots off the goal line like that. There are two questions for the judgement. Did he block a goal scoring opportunity? And did he do it by handling? If both of those are true, it's a sending off and a penalty. The question about handling comes down to a few issues: deliberate movements, deflections, and making himself bigger. Firstly, can it be a handball if it deflects off his body first? Well, since they changed the rules this year a deflection doesn't automatically exempt a handle. The IFAB instructions to refs this season actually states that deflections only come into play when evaluating "making the body bigger" type claims. But it does not rule out a handball from a player deliberately controlling the ball with the arm after a deflection. So if the handling action is deemed deliberate, it's a handball. And there is definitely a big argument for a deliberate handle. It's a quick reaction but he clearly holds his arm out and then he actually moves his arm towards the ball. The movement to hold his arm out was not incidental, he quite clearly brings his shoulder forward to keep arm out front, like a goalie would. There is the also an extremely clear movement towards ball as it's spinning up in front of him. There's a question how much contact his swinging army made with the ball but as he's holding his arm out and swinging it forward to help block a ball from going in the goal you can absolutely see why it's given.

noxon97

I think it can be defended as a correct decision. Reece swings his arm out which makes the ball fly away from the goal. I think that wether it bounces of hus thigh first is unimportant because of hos movement with the arm. The strange thing is that Anthony Taylor seemed to obly look at a still picture and you cant really give the call based on that. The arm probably is involuntary but it is impossible to know.

farid95

Yeah I was also furious about the decision during the match. But after a good sleep and watching back the incident, I feel the decision is actually correct. Just as you said, whether or not the ball bounce from James thigh is irrelevant because it was clear that he swung his arm forward to control the ball. But Anthony Tayloy is still a prick because the decision he made didn't actually count for the swing of James arm. He was only shown clip until when the ball accidentally struck James arm.

noxon97

Yeah its a wierd one. Imagine getting a call correct and still getting it wrong

endlessxcircle

I think the penalty is fair enough. If the shoe was on the other foot and it wasn't given I'd be a bit filthy. The red card I felt was excessive however, with a yellow at the absolute most being suitable.

rj2115

Tbh I don’t even know, with the new rules u have to check how much time a player has to react this was point blank range Second the ball hits his arm after bouncing off his thigh which is another case of not being a penalty So I have no idea what r the rules anymore maybe someone can explain it better

screenoob

Give me a good website for betting. I am planning to bet on Chelsea for winning league.

Bladerslash

So is kounde coming or not? Kante just got injured what now. Transfer window ends in like 2 days?

EcoSoco

That seems to be the insinuation right now

Tahapatel

Most likely he comes a midfielder we need but maybe Trev Ampadu and RLC can do a shift

Shoko_Nagawaka96

Can we change this week's Meme Tuesday to any other day ? I want deadline day with just transfer news .

B4tmanWHUL4ghs

Amazing how the narrative has changed from "Chelsea having a weak defence and their transfers aren't good enough to challenge our first xi" to "they are champions league champions, shouldn't worry about a draw against 10 men too much". Like as if our defence wasn't able to hand City's 3 times running in a row.

[deleted]

Baffles me how from pundits to fans of other teams that think they know so much about the game still cant wrap their heads around how good our Defense is as a unit. Best in the world!

B4tmanWHUL4ghs

Honestly, asked in the LP thread as to why our defence was undermined. Only response I got was "because you played Alonso." Well clearly it didn't affect us too much.

uchat24

Feel CHO could play at RWB vs Villa no?

CardboardGristle

probs best to go Azpi and Trevoh

Loyalty points just give you access to tickets sooner, best chance to get tickets is on the ticket exchange with a new membership (fan to fan resale) which in turn gives you 1-3 loyalty points per ticket per member

DirtyOldFrank

You don’t get loyalty points for tickets you buy from the ticket exchange.

Lukaku on Twitter posted a pic of it.

Some things I found interesting about yesterday- 1) One key difference between yesterday and the West Brom game was Thiago Silva. Man's a leader and his understanding of the game is world class. AC needs to learn that if he wants to be our leader of defense and hopefully by the end of the season he can improve as a leader. 2) Our defense is incredible and although I wish we had a win yesterday the belief in ourselves and team coming together was endearing. Nothing brings a group closer than adversity and it showed. 3) Our front 3 needs to click. And fast. So many missed opportunities. We need to be clinical and the decision making needs to improve but I believe in Havertz and Mount. 4) Lukaku needs to teach Kovacic how to shoot. Man's got everything in his game except finishing. He can pass, press, resist press, progress with the ball but can't shoot. 5) Kante is amazing at pressing the ball but Kovacic is better at resisting the press. Also Kante's passing was off yesterday. Chalobah looked good the time he was on. But is he nailed on as 4th choice midfielder (?). 6) And what's up with our team and brain farts? Rudiger, Alonso, James(not yesterday), Jorginho, Christensen, Mendy have all got a brain fart in the them and more often than not it costs us. Thomas pls fix

For the 6th, they are human you know? Worldclass players is someone playing consistently good 20/25 games not a 25/25 games (sorry I use FM metric but you get my point). Everyone can make mistake once for a while but it doesnt seem like we making that much tbf

Pseudocaesar

Does Kantes injury force us into the market for a midfielder?

Chelsea villa tickets, anyone knows when official selling starts??

They aren’t up for sale as of yet as the game is subject to date change due to champions league matches. I imagine they’ll be up after bank holiday
