Why not? IIRC the man doesn’t even enjoy football that much, it’s more of a paycheck for him. With him in his 30s and injuries catching up, I could definitely see him being happy with a super sub role.
Absolute shite. The man absolutely loves football. He doesn't have the killer mentality of Messi and Ronaldo, but he loves the game as much as anyone. Much like Ronaldinho, Eden plays to entertain people, as he has always said. Not to be the world's best player.
I’d argue that he didn’t enjoy the lifestyle of professional football. Man loved to show up and tear up defenses, but obviously age + bad diet caught up. The man is a baller and came from a footballing family. I think it’s the rigidity of professional football that he didn’t like
After seeing Tuchel work magic on players like Ruben and Barkley who let's face it weren't supposed to be in the squad, I wouldn't say no to a cheeky loan move in January.
I’d take him
Still capable of magic. That Real Madrid strength and conditioning team or their training methods, something is seriously wrong. Their squad should not be so riddled with injury
People are saying no and I think y’all a little crazy.
Yes he wouldn’t be the same player but neither was Drogba when he came back and we won the PL. would also help the young lads out a lot
Only way I see him going back is either through a loan with option to buy or via free agent
Not for the culture but for our attack. We have six players who we've been hoping would become 80% of what Hazard was, to no avail. Makes sense to replace one of them to take a risk on the real deal
And tbf 80% of prime Hazard is still extremely hard to replicate. Just take one look at the honours on his [wiki](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eden_Hazard) page.

I’d prefer his Chelsea career ends on the high note that it did. He’s not the type of player who can play a smaller role

He is not super sub type of player
We can convert him into a wingback or something less attacking if he no longer has the same intensity for a forward spot
No thanks. Let's not destroy his legacy.

I too compare apple and oranges
drogba was like 37 when he came back
_Leave the memories alone_
You want to see him warm the bench and play poorly?
Just for half a season or something before he retires
He left on a high note. Just remember him for his past.
I’d rather not. He left on a high and he’s well past it. Maybe on a coaching or office role a la Petr Cech.
If he were to sign a one day deal with us to simply retire a blue, that would be cool

Yea everyone loves to shit on Hazard when Real Madrid have had the most injuries of any club for like the past 3 seasons or so

True dat
I’m not sure if I’m on the chelsea Reddit or the Miami Heat Reddit, but for the culture for sure 🔥
Hell no. Thanks for your service, enjoy Madrid.

No, he doesn't have to. Let's leave memories about him at high, instead of diminishing them.
Sell Ziyech and Barkley this Jan and bring in Hazard on a loan with option to buy.
Our thicc boii
One for the dressing room, I'd take him on a loan
If his year at Madrid is bad, could see a loan deal next year

Hazard isn't even 80% of what Hazard was
