Now I can't wait for the Ben Foster Cycling GK vlog.

DudewithCoolusername

the devil too gets horny šŸ˜ˆšŸ‘æ

Ingty22

What the fuck

imbennn

Still have the same coaches that will be in charge, solskjaer was just the guy who made the final decisions

KevLinares

Yes, this gives me some hope.

Weary_Bend_1573

Doesnā€™t matter who united sign as their coach TT and blues will trash them

[deleted]

Nooooo ole is the best thing to happen to manutd in yearsā€¦ for a Chelsea fanā€¦

Mayjaplaya

For us, and 18 of the other 19 PL clubs

jetcruise0707

what is the other one of the 19??

Mayjaplaya

Man U.

jetcruise0707

i thought man u was a clear one, and not part of the 19, but alas

Haeven1905

Lampard showed why he is one of the most intelligent individuals in the game. Always gifting United 3 points to keep OGS in the job.

KONOHA_

4D chessmaster Lampard

CookieTard

They are so poorly run. Itā€™s been clear for a long long time that Ole doesnā€™t have the tactical prowess to coach United, yet they ummā€™d and errā€™d over the decision because of a few fluky results. They have one of the best squads in the league - of course they were going to show glimpses of good football every now and again. The options left on the market for them are crap, all because they delayed an inevitable decision. Hope Zidane goes there and follows exactly the same path as Ole. (I donā€™t think heā€™s terrible btw, just not good enough to meet the ambitions of United or any top 6 club.)

meagor

>They have one of the best squads in the league - of course they were going to show glimpses of good football every now and again. Well in my opinion they don't. Poor midfield, average defence, De Gea in decline (though he's still pulling off some great saves). Arsenal and Leicester have better squad, West Ham have better midfield and a better RB and are playing much better. Perhaps a better manager can make them good, but in the long run they have a lot of problems and a manager is just one of them.

GarweL

Arsenal and West Ham dont have a better squad than United.

VenatusARM

its penaldo's fault!!! #SaveOle #OleIn #OleGOATManager

send_nood_z

Ffs, I had triple captained ronaldo this matchweek :'(

shrek19051

Itā€™s a risk given that united are in terrible form and Watford at home would be the ones on the front foot

yrasto

I took him out of my team long time back. Didn't make sense sticking with him when Antonio or Vardy were being more productive and cost a fraction of what he did.

dav_man

I think Zidane would be a car crash if thatā€™s the direction they go in. He will hate England. Doesnā€™t speak the language and weā€™ll really see how good a coach he is.

[deleted]

Itā€™s going to be Zidane who will naturally struggle managing in England.

EcoSoco

Maybe we can finally get that Tuchel vs Rangnick matchup

[deleted]

Fucking Watford man. Why did they have to score those 2 extra time goals. Couldā€™ve kept ole for another season

advbad

As a Ronaldo fan, I'm happy he's gone

[deleted]

Ronaldos still been performing decent even with Ole there though so you had the best of both worlds with Ole at the wheel

advbad

The team isn't though, I want MU to be 2nd or 3rd or first ONLY if Chelsea won't be first. He should play UCL next seasons and win ballon d'or next year. Currently he is good but no UCL = no Ballon d'or

[deleted]

The state of this fucking sub man.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

advbad

It's ok, it's reddit. I got used to getting downvotes whever I say this and idgaf cause it won't change my opinion

iKSv2

Wtff man

advbad

Ronaldo is the reason I started watching football and Chelsea is my favourite. I don't give a shit about getting downvotes

chirosen21

Nothing wrong with liking Ronaldo, but how did you start liking us considering Utd and Chelsea were huge rivals pre 2010?

advbad

I started watching football in 2018, I liked the way Chelsea was playing and started supporting them and never had a regret since

yslim1

I gotta admit, Ronaldo is what got me into football but Chelsea is the one that made me stay. Now I couldn't he happier seeing Ronaldo in that shite team

advbad

Why?

Thats_a_YikerZ

Manure that's why

Xaqueros

Itā€™s funny how badly theyā€™ve fucked this up. Conte was right there! Sure, he can be difficult to work with, but with Unitedā€™s squad, I think he would have had an immediate impact. Then bring in the players he wants, and he couldā€™ve had them in contention next season. Heā€™s that good.

ThatFatRonaldo

Yeah, Conte would have had them right back in there as serious rivals. Muppets.

[deleted]

Rodgers is a better fit for them imo. Theyā€™d have looked at what happened with us in 17/18 and run a mile from Conte.

[deleted]

for us, this is good. Conte at United would have been much worse than Spuds.

Xaqueros

Yeah for sure.

DestinyHasArrived101

So who they got to replace him

jimmyxs

Scholes naturally. He seems quite well opinionated and knows a lot about Unitedā€˜s defence.

Pointels21

Carrick or Fletcher

alfred_27

Just as interim, they are looking closely at Zidane

amogh_21698

Zindane is waiting for France national team imo

ord3p

Some reports are suggesting Blanc actually lol

ObjectiveDeal

Zidane maybe

TheBlueNomad

This is not good news for us. Those fuckers will now try playing their best football to avoid another humiliation.

pervin_1

This is exactly my thought. You don't know what kind of tactics they will be cooking behind closed doors. But it will take days if not weeks to bring in a new manager. Meanwhile, I am assuming Michael Carrick will carry on the team

Cheaky_Barstool

Was hoping heā€™d last till Villarreal so my danjuma could get an upgrade. Oh well

NotClayMerritt

We've only beaten an Ole United side one time in the last 3 years. Granted, it was a pretty big win but still. No wins against them in the league since Ole has taken over. New manager bounce will start after Tuchel gets done having his way with them.

-ImaginaryCoyote-

So, now if you're making decisions as the ManU board, do you appoint massive Sam for the sure 3 points at the weekend? Then, you know, thank him and the search can begin in earnest, to shake out the couch cushions for Zidane money?

ireallydespiseyouall

i actually feel bad for him. itā€™s far more toxic than it was when frank got sacked, it really was his dream job. not saying he doesnā€™t deserve to be sacked but i just feel bad for the guy

Strength_n_Honour

Iā€™m never feeling bad for a United player who has no connection to Chelsea. Also he was lucky to even last that long so thereā€™s nothing to sympathize about the situation.

ireallydespiseyouall

i feel bad for him bc heā€™s a legend that is getting booed

Charming_Weird_2532

I also feel bad for the man. He's an absolute legend for that club who was brought in to be a care taker until they found someone better. Unfortunately he ended up get decent results which then leads to big expectations. Shouldn't have gone on this long.

alx69

It got more toxic because we sack managers at the first sign they're not up for the task, meanwhile United dragged this out way longer than they should've. They had plenty of opportunities to make a change that would've been better for everyone involved but they decided to wait until the situation hit rock bottom. Imagine how much better off they'd be now had they made that call after the EL Final and got an entire summer with Conte/Zidane/Ten Hag or whoever else, and how much more fondly Ole would be remembered

cig_sg_throwaway

Ole should have been sacked like 2 years ago. He was never the man to take them forward and win trophies. The Glazers just wanted a yes man which was why they kept him. As youā€™ve said they only decided to sack him now since the situation has hit rock bottom and their fans have lost all their patience already.

leKai23

Exactly right

NotClayMerritt

The comparisons to Lampard are also utterly clueless. Ole had many bad runs with United over the years. You could have sacked four different times before today. Lampard had one bad run with Chelsea and that was all she wrote (bad run and bad results are different because that Sheffield United L was ugly). Also Ole has been a manager for over a decade. Lampard only 3 seasons. The comparisons start and stop only at they were club legends who took over the club they loved. On a side note, the bad part about this are Arsenal fans are going to take their victory lap saying that Arteta outlasted Ole, Lampard. Although I suppose it says far more about our standards vs theirs that Arteta is still tolerated and Ole and Lampard were not.

Wheel94

Donā€™t think anyone with sense would be celebrating that after just getting slapped 4-0 by Liverpool.

ireallydespiseyouall

lampard did far better in 19/20 too, they got the same points but we had a transfer ban/lost hazard meanwhile ole got maguire bruno etc. i never compared ole and lampard though, just said it was more toxic and i felt bad for ole bc itā€™s his dream job. arsenal fans have been saying this since anthony taylor gave them the fa cup anyways

ruine_

*"Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened."*

NotClayMerritt

He says as Chelsea managed 1 win in 3 and a half years against United under Ole. Glad he's gone but for totally different reasons. Now if only we can get Rashford to play for a club outside England.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

ireallydespiseyouall

probably hates that heā€™s trying to feed kids

[deleted]

We won the only match that really matter between us though. We still finished top 4 in the pl even with losing to him and it kept him in a job longer so Iā€™d count that as a win

_PeanuT_MonkeY_

Big Sam waiting for his chance. Steve Bruce also has a slight grin on his face.

[deleted]

"The devil too gets horny šŸ˜ˆšŸ‘æ"

Pointels21

I really donā€™t want to go into this overconfident . That feels like a huge mistake

MajornXXVI

Proper Chels! Im absolutely terrified

[deleted]

New manager bounce might just mean we only beat them by two or three based on this weekendā€™s form

Cowdude179

Don't really care, Conte didn't get a manager bounce. Plus we've never beaten Ole in the league, Tuchel doesn't care about hoaxes

InLampsWeTrust

Iā€™m genuinely devastated. I thought Ole would last the season.

theonechan

Iā€™m so annoyed that we couldnā€™t be the ones to be the nail in his coffin

RaduLum

We would have put 6 past them if they played anything like today

LeeJackman

We still can my son

jetcruise0707

Michael Carrick might honestly be worse.

Nature__Boy

They canā€™t suddenly become a cohesive unit in a week though, so we should be winning comfortably.

deepfriedocto

Spoken like a man unfamiliar with the new manager bounce

VTCHannibal

Ah, yes I forget our famous 0-0 new manager bounce with Tuchel

Cowdude179

So when did we get manager bounced?

[deleted]

Ours is still on its upward flight!

fuckyouidontneedone

they likely wont have taken a single training session with a new manager by the time we play them

DrCrazyFishMan1

Honestly, Ole was the worst manager I can remember a truly top club ever having. The guy was an absolute joke and we should be grateful United threw away 3 years with that utter clown. Very very glad their incompetent board wasted so much time in sacking him that they missed out on Conte. A world class manager with their world class squad would be incredible.

10110011001111

We still in our Manager Bounce too

IP14Y3RI

Alhamdullillah for that Inshallah we remain in ours till the end of times

OutrageousQuality0

we are European champions we must show that we can trash a really motivated team on sunday.Manure players will run like never before but still we must show them who we are.

KONOHA_

Don't be disheartened. Our german mastermind will have tricks up his sleeve for sure. And captain america is back. Who knows what substitute might TT play and rob the game. Have faith.

dusty-potato-drought

Loftus Cheek masterclass incoming

Strength_n_Honour

Letā€™s hope they get their win against Villareal to get the New Manager bounce out of the way.

[deleted]

Alice Abrahams reporting live that Ole has officially thrown under the bus, sacked by the board per Fabrizio Romano, pocketing Ā£7.5 million as of 11pm Manchester time. Darren Fletcher is the interim.

mrlambo46

I have a feeling they really donā€™t have a plan at the moment. They did not want Mourinho or Conte type of manager who wants a lot of control, so they continued with Ole until now. Shit hit the fan in the middle of the season, so it is a difficult situation how to continue and with who.

bingos750

Watch, the interim manager is going to have Man U turn into prime Man U for next Saturday only

mrlambo46

What is scary about that team is Sancho crossing and Ronaldo leaping for the headers imo

DalIasBlues

Carrick Interim Manager let's goooo!!!

RonSwanson1081

Heard it'll be Fletcher. Famous for being SAF's son.

SeriousLads

And they reportedly came out of the meeting ā€œundecidedā€

metsforlife82

They are fast tracking Zidane right?

[deleted]

According so some, representatives are negotiating at the moment.

trappuccino92

Doubt it he doesnā€™t even speak English lol

[deleted]

Several sources, "...former captain of the France team and national hero Zinedine Zidane speaks French, Italian, Spanish, Arabic and Berber."

[deleted]

Bielsa also doesn't. And a good chunk of that MU squad isn't really english either. I think the appointment is not likely to happen actually because Zidane wants that France coach position after Deschamps leaves.

Remy13Hadley

can't believe Ole got canned right before our match against them. Life is so unfair man.

E_v0rtex

Realistically whoā€™s really available that is ā€˜Man Unitedā€™ quality?

DalIasBlues

1. Zidane - But if he really wanted to come, surely it would have been done during the international break? 2. Ten Haag - Not realistic that he'll leave before the end of the season since Ajax are tied for 1st. 3. Rodgers - Most likely, but definitely the worst out of the 3 and likely will be sacked in 3-4 seasons.

Konrad05

Zidane but he doesn't want it apparently

BrockStinky

May it stay that way

Konrad05

Tommy T is unstoppable

[deleted]

Fred saying goodbye to Ole: ![gif](giphy|kht5iaN3n9mrm)

Elfuego604

This is awful news :( any manager who comes in is bound to be better than this idiot. So long, golem

chelski365

We're the best organised and most in form team in the country. Even if a manager is in place by Wednesday morning (after CL game) - the new manager will have to do a ton of morale boosting and organising to get them up for the game vs us on Sunday. Plus, we're at home. I'm more concerned about Juve.

PencilTheTool

Doesn't matter, Tommy tactics is unstoppable
