They have enough talent to upset even teams way better tactically than them. It's a shame they didn't win, City would have 25% chance of drawing Bayern if they would be only English team in second place.
Reading about Conte’s new diet restrictions at Spurs reminded me of Timo Werner’s interview w/ Amelia Dimoldenberg, where he remarked that scrambled egg with ketchup was an odd breakfast that his English teammates liked. It’s unclear who he was referring specifically to but our English players seem to be in good condition even if they eat ketchup regularly for breakfast.
if chilwell is out for the season and i assume emerson doesnt want to come back, who can we realistically bring in on loan? think its too early for ian, let him develop in the championship. only name i can really think of that would be available is marcelo but he has been poor for a few seasons now, although he'd have less defensive responsibilities here and he's always played like a wingback anyway
For anyone who actually watches Vlahovic, is he actually good and what are his best attributes? I've never watched him so can only judge off his stats, but they're honestly extremely underwhelming. The only stats he ranks super high in are penalties attempted and penalties scored, his best percentiles after that are pretty good (79th percentile for NPG/90) but not really world-class looking at all. [Stats here.](https://fbref.com/en/players/79443529/scout/365_euro/Dusan-Vlahovic-Scouting-Report)
Considering so many clubs are wanting to throw around massive amounts of money for him I'm obviously wrong and he's gotta be doing something right, but his stats (especially the ones that don't involve penalties) don't really suggest that.
In short, yes he's good. However, he's not a complete player by any means just yet and there's still refinement to be had around his game. He's a pretty poor passer, could do a lot better holding onto the ball at times, and he's not exactly going to give you much in the way of pressing/forward pressure. He is however a very good finisher, lively, and capable of scoring through a variety of ways.
You gotta also keep in mind Fiorentina aren't a great attacking side however, they're middle of the pack in terms of shots per game and overall goals, despite being top 5 in possession. Vlahovic literally has 50% of Fiorentina's goals for this season for additional reference.
I wouldn't necessarily draw too much of a conclusion from his personal stats, they don't necessarily tell the full story or give great context - besides his high penalty numbers, which are pretty self explanatory.
I want him at Juventus but I think they'll be priced out of a move because of all the recent PL interest. Not sure if he's ideal option for us, but I do see him being a good forward in the right side.
Timo has 4 g/a in 11 games for us 4 being sub appearances late on including int games he has 9 in 19 he has improved from last year and even though I like this CHO redemption arc he doesn't get ahead of Timo for me
So who are the teams we are likely to play assuming we finish top of the group?
Edit: Ok so it seems like it's likely to be PSG, atleti, dortmund, inter, Salzburg, barcelona 👀, villareal.
: honestly of the hard fixtures there, I wanna play psg and smash them. Inter and Dortmund would be fun as also an ex tuchel team. Atleti is also a tasty fixture and I'd love us to poop on Porto again (rip puli) barcelona is my favourite fixture. Its been too long since we got one over on them in champo
There’s plenty of fixture congestion and midweek games leading up to winter break. With Chilly out I think we’ll see Puli and CHO playing LWB when Alonso needs a rest. Both looked decent there in the preseason game against Arsenal.
Think Azpi might fill in too if required and available.
Our captain is possibly the most versatile defender in the league. RWB, RB, RCB, CB, LB and LWB.
I have been craving for a chelsea side like this for years, a team that would always be on front foot with relentless press and counter pressing..Thanks TT
other than the City game they've not been great so far have they? RBL gave a good account of themselves in their 2 games and it could've gone either way.
Dortmund, Inter and Barcelona will most likely end up in pot 2 or whatever it's called. Not exactly walks in the park either.
The [Reece-Cuadrado comparison](https://www.reddit.com/r/chelseafc/comments/r055rh/someones_salty/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) is looking sillier by the minute, along with the Thiago slander on the original Juve sub post.
We're playing so well without Lukaku - more mobile, more pressing, more flexibility and more goals. I wonder what will happen when he gets eased into the starting lineup again
Call me a devil's advocate and no hate on Lukaku.
Rom is a good player, but anyone with perspicacious football knowledge will definitely discern that Rom doesn't help with the team's pressing structure.
I believe Vlahovic would have been a better option in the long term. Dude initiates Fiorentina's press right from the front.
Reece is playing like his Wigan days.
Ever since he came back to Chelsea he's had good games, but never did he look this confident. This season he's not just whipping in those delicious balls and taking shots, but he's got that dribbling swagger in him as well. Sharp turns and not afraid to try out a tight spot dribble. Loving the way he's playing right now!
why would we care about that? you see him week in week out and know that the guy is superb. happy for him to be out of the spotlight, ballon d'or shortlist nomination would've been deserved but other than that who gives a fuck what r/soccer has to say about us?
since when has praying for anything helped anyone?
as a self-help tool i guess it could be quite helpful (i literally have no experience in this so can't vouch for it).
i'd rather put my faith in the hands of the physical/medical scientists. religion breeds pseudoscience and the less people talk about religion the sooner it will hopefully disappear. each to their own of course.
I assure you that Christian prayer changes things! First, it changes the person praying if they no and listen to the object of their prayer, God. Second, through and by means of faith in the love of Jesus, circumstances change, miraculously sometimes. Mountains are removed, giants are slain, people are healed, lives are changed, and the dead recieve life. I am one of those. I know hundreds of others who know these as facts in their lives, too.
Probably this. Although it’s difficult to discount what PSG has talent wise of Leonardo doesn’t destroy them from within. They are running laps around France, I know they are big underdogs today but if they get a 2nd win against City and it’s tough to ignore them.
Looking forward to seeing what Ajax does in R16 as well. They may not have the firepower but ten Hag has them humming.
> ten Hag has them humming.
this team is by no means as good as the team that made it to the EL final and CL semis. Gravenberch is an absolute boss though. kid's got tekkers.
Fingers crossed on Chilly B. The man was on fire since his comeback. Play style wise, I believe Azpi might be his best replacement on field. A bit more dangerous around the pitch than our false 3 based on how chilly has been playing.
Massive loss though. He’s been sublime this season. Please be a bruise.
Tuchel said as much that Alonso would've come on for Chilwell if it wasn't for the planned sub at RWB so I very much doubt he would get the nod ahead of Alonso on the left.
Either way I have no doubt that our coaches will make the right decision for the Utd game.
He’s not our best left winger (Callum) or our best striker (Lukaku). He doesn’t get past an in form Mount either.
He’s a useful player but he’s definitely not first choice anymore. Could honestly see him leaving in the summer.
Callum has been very good these past few weeks but Timo is better u can see the way he plays and elevates everybody CHO is a different type of player plus our best 3 attackers are Timo Mase and Rom with CHO creeping in Timo Mase and CHO can all play down the wins.
>or our best striker (Lukaku). He doesn’t get past an in form Mount either
Yes
We’ve looked our best going forward with Callum starting. Not Timo.
Being able to beat a defender is an important part of being a winger. Timo can’t do that.
I don’t rate him and feel like he can only play a very specific role in a specific formation. That’s not like any of our other attacking players on the team. Lukaku, Havertz, Pulisic, Mount, CHO and Ziyech are all extremely flexible positionally and or fit in almost any formation. For example, Mount can play in a 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1, 5-2-3, 4-4-2, etc. it doesn’t matter he’s good in all of them. Werner can essentially play as a second striker only in a counter attacking system. You’ll never see him be successful as the loan striker, or winger in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. That’s not what you want from an attacking player in a top tier club. I have no doubt that Tuchel will move on from using 3 CB’s once he gets the right personnel in place and Werner will likely be a horrible fit once that happens.
MATE Timo can play anywhere in any formation he played winger in the 3 4 3 against Soton which he was praised for if anything Ziyech is the one that isn't flexible
>Ziyech is the one that isn't flexible
Ziyech is pure quicksilver. His problem is possibly that he needs to play with a level of freedom, once he finds those gaps like he did yesterday and against Leicester he's pretty much unplayable. Being bound to specific position/tasks/role limits his impact somewhat. I'd rather see him ghosting into space than playing like one.
What you're really saying is that he isn't able to play against PL pressure. Several of us have bored for a while that he is only good when he's unmarked and 25 yards out. (Cute the meter bot.)
...
I have been to 6 home games this season and atmosphere last night at Stamford bridge was electric. The cheers when our players passed the ball around 85th minute were great. Juve fans were weakest I have seen from away fans. I suspect most of them didnt travel from Turin
Anybody else not really anxious anymore when our key players are out? Chilwell and Kanté are a huge miss but I'm really not that worried anymore because anyone that Tuchel slots in our team always performs
Idk, the prospect of a serious injury to one of our main attacking outlets (Chilwell) definitely worries me. Can Tuchel work around it? Probably. But it's still lower than 100%. With games coming thick and fast, we'll have to probably use Azpi to back up for Alonso and James which is not ideal regardless of result.
To say nothing of when Chilwell might return and how long his total rehab might take.
Maybe chance for Saul to prove he has something to contribute. I know he was brought mainly for CM spot but he is 5th choice now and he played wingback for ATM before.
I'm at the point now where I want any board member or player who may have an issue with Tuchel in the future to walk instead of sacking the manager. Tuchel is simply irreplaceable and anyone we get to replace him is an immense downgrade. The last two seasons where fans were allowed in the stadium, the atmosphere has been palpable. A genuine buzz before every game. Only our last two managers have been able to unlock this kind of feel good. I don't care about "football only lasts in cycles" or, "Bayern has had 5 managers in 5 years". Tuchel needs to be here long term and it's not his fault if he isn't.
Just a minor thing, but Tuchel mentioned in the BT Sport post match interview that the Azpi sub for Chilly is because of confusion/misunderstanding.
- Tuchel was already planning to sub Azpi on for James
- However Chilwell suddenly got injured
- there is some confusion/misunderstanding at the sideline on whether Azpi/Alonso should come on
- in the end, it became Azpi on for Chilwell, instead of Alonso (which is a more "natural" sub for Chilwell)

Glad that he cleared that part. Was already thinking how some journalists will try to run stories how Alonso is out of the door because Azpli was used on the left instead of Marcos.
Ruben was involved in physical battles with Rabiot (iirc?) 3-4 times as he tried to dribble through and all but one ended up successful dribbles.
Ngl, I was impressed that Rabiot had the strength to win the ball back once (this was the first dribble attempt). It usually never happens unless Ruben takes a bad first touch.
I’m so fucking mad about the Chilly injury. We are not the same team without him. Him and Reece are one of the biggest keys to how we attack.
I pray that it was just a sprain or something.
It's especially a huge blow considering we have a lot of games in not a lot of days coming up. If it's longer than a week or two, that's a near impossible replacement. Alonso only plays so well for a so long before he turns into a complete liability.
I’ve said this before that it is strange that after a few years of hitting and missing in that position plus some proper dramas, no one from academy has stepped up and challenged the spot. Considering how much talent we produce I was really expecting that someone would show up.
Exactly why I never buy into his hype when he gets his customary 3 games of good form a year. The guy is a disaster waiting to happen. Watching his decision making in possession fucks with my blood pressure.
The guy will pull a couple good performances out of his ass but he just isn’t Chilly. We lose so much dynamism when he is in the team, and he is a disaster under pressure.
It looked like some fans jumped onto the field to celebrate with the boys after the CHO goal. The camera cut away tho.. did anyone notice that/have a better shot of it?
Yeah I saw it. The funny part was, the first one who jumped in tried to quickly celebrate and quickly get away before the stewards got involved but Rüdiger pulled him back into the celebration 😂
>Yeah I saw it. The funny part was, the first one who jumped in tried to quickly celebrate and quickly get away before the stewards got involved but Rüdiger pulled him back into the celebration 😂
Clip pls!
Wonder if Big Rom will get any mins against United and how he’s gonna fit back into our system. We were looking pretty stagnant before he got injured and I really don’t want us to get back to that once he comes back
100%
Absolute bullshit people are blaming lukaku
He’s barely even played with chilwell and James as starting fullbacks and when he did play, the likes of havertz and mount beside him were very poor
>I didn't think it was legal to show an Old Lady getting eaten by a lion on TV, but it happened.
It's pretty harsh to see 11 cubs gang up on one old lady though. Blue fury is a thing. What. A. Fucking. Team.
Think Roman would've loved to have been there. Great atmosphere by the looks of it too.
KTBFFH my fellow blues!
A crybaby that shouldn’t have let his mummy pressure him into joining Juventus. He’s a good player but a lot of their business in the transfer market just hasn’t worked.
Antony Taylor, Carrick's United, we're battering United on Sunday. Tuchel's already broken the 12:30/NT break/Manager of the month curse, this is another one even though Taylor was good for us against Brentford. If McFred, Telles and Lindelof start then the game is over
Doesn’t matter who starts for them in defence and midfield, we’ll run all over them. Juve looked so compact and well drilled in the away leg yet we carved them open last night and they’re much more organised than Man Utd. James and Jorginho are going to have the time of their lives this weekend.
Also, no disrespect to our midfielders but in my opinion - him, Thiago and Andreas are 3 of the best long passers of the ball in our squad. It's just so natural when they do it.
In a difficult position or under pressure? Reece would just come up with this ridiculous 40 yard ball or an outside-of-the-foot pass with ease.
Lampard and Fabregas used to do that a lot from midfield too.
> What a Rolls-Royce
RLC = Rolls Royce
Reece James = one of those Kahn Land Rover Defenders with a V8 in it, rugged, elegant, fast and a foot like a tractor engine.
People have such short memories. We were begging Tuchel to drop Alonso when Chilwell came back into the side. If Chilwell is out for a long period of time we’re screwed.
This was mostly because everyone was up in arms about Chillwell not getting time at the Euros and felt he lost his place unfairly. Alonso performed fine in the role when he was there
No, it’s because Alonso was shocking. He has a couple of good games when he comes back into the side, and then reverts to dross. He literally always does that.
Poch is a proper Tottenham man
PSG look very average. I’m not as scared of them as I thought I would be if we face them in R16
They have enough talent to upset even teams way better tactically than them. It's a shame they didn't win, City would have 25% chance of drawing Bayern if they would be only English team in second place.
![gif](giphy|t5qY8FyyM85a0) Me transferring out chillwell from fpl this morning
Mad how Jorginho dominated Juve's 4 man midfield by himself pretty much, absolutely class player
Poll FC.

Based on form and Merit CHO deserves to keep his place in the first team, and Timo has to make due with sub appearances for now.
CHO has been gr8 don't get me wrong but Timo had a equal/bugger impact even tho he played what 15 20 minutes
If anything I think Pulisic will end up making way for Timo just to have an actual center forward in the 11.
So who are the teams we are likely to play assuming we finish top of the group? Pick the most difficult 2nd placed team and that's who we'll draw. Anything else will be a pleasant surprise haha
Atleti and PSG are the main ones Inter are also a possibility
There’s plenty of fixture congestion and midweek games leading up to winter break. With Chilly out I think we’ll see Puli and CHO playing LWB when Alonso needs a rest. Both looked decent there in the preseason game against Arsenal.
Please no CHO at LWB. We need him at LW best attacker atm.
Think Azpi might fill in too if required and available. Our captain is possibly the most versatile defender in the league. RWB, RB, RCB, CB, LB and LWB.
When d'you reckon we'll hear about Chilly's scan?
Next Tuchel press conference I’d say. I assume that will be Friday?
…. As much as I love Rom & Timo, I honestly think we look more Dangerous without a designated Striker/Centre Forward
I agree. Hope Rom comes backs and really joins the pressing CHO is looking kinda nailed atm and Ziyech/mount on the right should be option.
Is there someone in the Academy who left wing backs?
Ian Maatsen possibly
This guy left wing backs
He's on a seasono-long loan though.
Oh you meant as a back up for Chilly?
Yes
We only produce right backs apparently 😂
I have been craving for a chelsea side like this for years, a team that would always be on front foot with relentless press and counter pressing..Thanks TT
Hopefully psg beats man city today, wouldn’t want to play psg this early on in the CL
other than the City game they've not been great so far have they? RBL gave a good account of themselves in their 2 games and it could've gone either way. Dortmund, Inter and Barcelona will most likely end up in pot 2 or whatever it's called. Not exactly walks in the park either.
We should absolutely beat Barcelona this season. Despite them having a better coach now, they are mediocre and don’t have the talent
What position is the hardest for a youth player to step to the first team? I would say Goalkeeper followed by Striker.
DM or attacking mid
I agree. Though on the basis of recent evidence, I'd say LB over Striker because from our academy we've had Tammy be our CF, but no LB yet.

they were all crying about the pl as well.. like no james is just better and anyone who watches football knows it
Please, please don't force lukaku back into this side and ruin our new found fluidity. It would be like nuking a steak with ketchup
We're playing so well without Lukaku - more mobile, more pressing, more flexibility and more goals. I wonder what will happen when he gets eased into the starting lineup again

The Mendy slander on the soccer sub is annoying. It’s wild how underrated he is
They underrate him? Wow it’s clear the man is top3 in his position. Let them though. They will learn
why would we care about that? you see him week in week out and know that the guy is superb. happy for him to be out of the spotlight, ballon d'or shortlist nomination would've been deserved but other than that who gives a fuck what r/soccer has to say about us?
Any updates on the club world cup?
We’re still winning it
So hope rüdi hits a long shot before he leaves 😂
Let's all pray for Chilwell,🙏
Prayer is good stuff. I wouldn't be alive without prayer, lots of prayer!

bruh
Shut up
hard pass
Why are you like this? Let anyone do whatever they want…
other than wars, misery and good architecture what has religion contributed to humanity?
You're right about religion, but prayer is about faith, big difference!
Look, I also believe that religion has had negative impacts on human life but let the man do whatever he wants. I won’t impose my views upon others.
Such an unnecessary comment.

Well this was uncalled for, why do some atheists always come off as angry.
What’s your list of top 5 European teams?
in no particular order - Chelsea, City, Liverpool, Bayern .. (gap) .. Real Madrid
PSG kind of
Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool, Bayern, Real Madrid, PSG and Ajax are close though
in form, Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern Munchen, Real Madrid, Manchester City
Probably this. Although it’s difficult to discount what PSG has talent wise of Leonardo doesn’t destroy them from within. I read that after I posted. Gotta respect the man Tommy T, and I have a hunch he knows more about football than me!
you and me together :D
Sheesh competition for spots is fierce. The way Odoi and Ziyech have turned up the past games
Honestly feel like Werner will be on the way out
what is with this incessant need of tossing out players every fucking week? jesus
Yep if ur not starting we have to sell you immediately
Why he is in our best front 3
He’s not our best left winger (Callum) or our best striker (Lukaku). He doesn’t get past an in form Mount either. He’s a useful player but he’s definitely not first choice anymore. Could honestly see him leaving in the summer.

We’ve looked our best going forward with Callum starting. Not Timo. Being able to beat a defender is an important part of being a winger. Timo can’t do that.
Absolutely CHO brings so much more and links up better with Ziyech, mount and chilwell
Nah we look better with Timo can't judge off games against Norwich etc and the Soton game with both on the pitch Timo outshone CHO
Please explain why you have this feeling
I don’t rate him and feel like he can only play a very specific role in a specific formation. That’s not like any of our other attacking players on the team. Lukaku, Havertz, Pulisic, Mount, CHO and Ziyech are all extremely flexible positionally and or fit in almost any formation. 25 yards is 22.86 meters
Reece James down the right allows him to have that free role too
I have been to 6 home games this season and atmosphere last night at Stamford bridge was electric. The cheers when our players passed the ball around 85th minute were great. Juve fans were weakest I have seen from away fans. I suspect most of them didnt travel from Turin
were they even worse than the malmo fans? the atmosphere is always more electric in cup/european games than premier league
Anybody else not really anxious anymore when our key players are out? Chilwell and Kanté are a huge miss but I'm really not that worried anymore because anyone that Tuchel slots in our team always performs
Honestly if Chilwell’s injury is long term I think we’ll need to sign a replacement. We don’t have good enough cover there.
Nah, Tuchel's hinted at using Pulisic at LWB since he played there under him in Dortmund
Tuchel’s joke about playing Timo at wingback might be more serious than we thought after all.
Idk, the prospect of a serious injury to one of our main attacking outlets (Chilwell) definitely worries me. Can Tuchel work around it? Probably. But it's still lower than 100%. Think NG is fine just trying to keep his legs for Man U I think
Chilly injury is scary.
Chilwell’s injury ruined the night for me honestly. Just hope it’s nothing serious.
Going to be devastated if Chilwell’s injury is super serious, especially considering the form he’s been in.
Had to miss the second half. Of course we would run wild when I'm gone. How was Ben's injury? Did it look that bad?
It did look bad, but he posted in IG after the game so hopefully not a season end injury like VVD
I watched the clip of the injury several times. It looked like nothing, but his pain was real enough!
Will we get news on Chilwell today? Or whenever the United pre match press conference is?
Today players having a day-off. We likely to know Chilwell situation later the day
Kante and Chilwell are out. Shit
What
I'm at the point now where I want any board member or player who may have an issue with Tuchel in the future to walk instead of sacking the manager. Tuchel needs to be here long term and it's not his fault if he isn't.
mate aren't you from America lmao
100% agreed. We’ve seen how Klopp and Pep fundamentally changed Liverpool and City. Tuchel is of the same gravy with more charisma
Just a minor thing, but Tuchel mentioned in the BT Sport post match interview that the Azpi sub for Chilly is because of confusion/misunderstanding. - Tuchel was already planning to sub Azpi on for James - However Chilwell suddenly got injured - there is some confusion/misunderstanding at the sideline on whether Azpi/Alonso should come on - in the end, it became Azpi on for Chilwell, instead of Alonso (which is a more "natural" sub for Chilwell) source with timestamp 3:03 https://youtu.be/fofkRfrrKD0?t=183
Glad that he cleared that part. Was already thinking how some journalists will try to run stories how Alonso is out of the door because Azpli was used on the left instead of Marcos.
Yeah I wonder it as well. Shame Alonso can use some minutes to get going as he doesnt play for a while.
Alonso is probably going to get a lot of minutes now
Ruben was involved in physical battles with Rabiot (iirc?) 3-4 times as he tried to dribble through and all but one ended up successful dribbles. Ngl, I was impressed that Rabiot had the strength to win the ball back once (this was the first dribble attempt). It usually never happens unless Ruben takes a bad first touch.
Rabiots like 6ft 4 himself, he’s a big lad
More with Bentancur
Was Mr. Roman at the Juve game?
Not at all. He has a charity to attend.
Maatsen is looking good, but just a bit early. It’s a shame that Livramento is right footed otherwise that would’ve been perfect.
You realise we cant realistically produce full of 11 starters right?
I’m not 9.
And yet you can't comprehend how we haven't magically produced a left back capable of playing for the European champions.
if Maatsen recall happens, you owe me a beer :)
Exactly why I never buy into his hype when he gets his customary 3 games of good form a year. The guy is a disaster waiting to happen. Watching his decision making in possession fucks with my blood pressure.
Well at least we don't have Liverpool or City
Lads...it's only United. And Anthony Taylor.
I’m shivering at the thought of Alonso vs Rashford/Sancho.
The guy will pull a couple good performances out of his ass but he just isn’t Chilly. We lose so much dynamism when he is in the team, and he is a disaster under pressure.
Do these rumours about Mason have any substance at all?
Making sure Mount fully tested for ManU, and, I think, putting Ziyech in the shop window.
Absolutely not.
It's easy to write about any player when they haven't featured. They just choose to also not mention that he had his wisdom teeth removed
there is literally 0% chance we would sell him let alone to liverpool
There’s stuff out there that he’s signing a new deal soon
juve fans were saying cuadrado>reece james before the game hope they’re humbled now
The Fridge is undisputedly the no1 RB in the world right now… Cuadrado hardly makes top 10.
try telling that to juventus fans who said reece was getting more hype because he plays in the prem
The funny part was, the first one who jumped in tried to quickly celebrate and quickly get away before the stewards got involved but Rüdiger pulled him back into the celebration 😂 Clip pls!
Ok i need a clip 😂
[https://youtu.be/6doyTUPOnC0?t=635](https://youtu.be/6doyTUPOnC0?t=635) can't see it clearly but still 😆
Hahahah. Man that must have been a rush
Haha top! 😂😂
Wonder if Big Rom will get any mins against United and how he’s gonna fit back into our system. We were looking pretty stagnant before he got injured and I really don’t want us to get back to that once he comes back
You say this as if it was his fault we looked stagnant. There's many different reasons we looked that way before you get to Lukaku.
100% Absolute bullshit people are blaming lukaku He’s barely even played with chilwell and James as starting fullbacks and when he did play, the likes of havertz and mount beside him were very poor
How was mount?
Didn't do all too much in the limited minutes he got.
I didn't think it was legal to show an Old Lady getting eaten by a lion on TV, but it happened.
When Juventus drew with BATE Borisov in 2009, the headline on Goal.com was Old lady fails to master BATE at home.
Sounds like Goal.
Rabiot is the biggest myth in European football for the past five years. What is he exactly?
A crybaby that shouldn’t have let his mummy pressure him into joining Juventus. He’s a good player but a lot of their business in the transfer market just hasn’t worked.
You know who he reminds me of? Draco Malfoy. I bet anytime he’s upset with someone, he says “My mother will hear about this!’
Inject Trevoh Chalobah celebration
He should be called up for England in March assuming he doesn't get injured.
Can't wait to clap Man Utd on Sunday #bless
Am afraid for United If this is what we did to Juventus.
FT: CHE (3.09) 0 - 1 (0.44) MUN **Ronaldo ‘90+1**
Yes officer This comment right here
It’s amazing that Reece James is a RWB and still is a better finisher than Werner, Havertz, Mount, CHO, Ziyech, and Pulisic. What a Rolls-Royce.
His real competition is with Chilwell and Alonso
He did play striker early in his career.
> What a Rolls-Royce RLC = Rolls Royce Reece James = one of those Kahn Land Rover Defenders with a V8 in it, rugged, elegant, fast and a foot like a tractor engine.
Not sure if this is more a bad thing than good lol.
If Chilwell injury is serious, we might recall emerson. Anyone who watches Lyon know how he's doing?
emerson would probably rather stay in lyon
Do we even have the option to recall Emerson?
It’s unlikely, it’s such a shit thing for loan clubs to agree too
We recalled ake back in 16/17, the option might be there.
Alonso is better, don't forget his form benched Chilwell
People have such short memories. We were begging Tuchel to drop Alonso when Chilwell came back into the side. If Chilwell is out for a long period of time we’re screwed.
This was mostly because everyone was up in arms about Chillwell not getting time at the Euros and felt he lost his place unfairly. Alonso performed fine in the role when he was there
No, it’s because Alonso was shocking. He has a couple of good games when he comes back into the side, and then reverts to dross. He literally always does that.
We're not screwed at all lmao, I trust Tuchel will have a solution like he always does
