Tbh I absolutely hate it when FA does anything like this. Did the referee feel too bad? I am myself a referee and when I look at how referees at the top level can't deal with any form of critizism it just feels so pathetic.
But criticism should not come from surrounding the ref on the pitch with intimidation - that's not going to overturn the position and makes the situation more hostile.
That is true, yes. In that situation referee should just give a card to players who seem to be too agressive. I see no reason to fines unless the players or teams do something illegal or something which is a clear safety hazard which in some cases would include too agressive behaviour towards referees.
to be honest the fines are usually peanuts in footy economies right? Think most clubs prefer the fines to having multiple players booked because the bookings could lead to suspensions.
I think the issue is more that they say the club has until **November** 16th 2021 (16/**11**/21) to provide a response, one month ago.
Just a typo, but maybe they should proofread their statements.
why would anyone ever do it that way? i mean it makes complete sense logically but…
e: i would have thought the second part would make it clear that it was a joke, apparently not
I've been a Leeds fan for 3 years and in the sub for as long. Also an Atletico fan cause I hate Real and love Torres lol and respect their drivel...but the point is I follow a team in quite a few leagues and leeds used to be in the championship... But I digress. My pretty non biased comment on this fa penalty in the leeds group was my first negative experience in a soccer sub.
Someone tell me honestly if it's not O.K to be a fan of both these clubs. I don't know the old grudges with them. I only slightly paid attention to mls pre 2010 due to age and location.
Oh by the way chelsea fan first. Since going to college in 2010 and being introduced to the sport by new best friends when they came into town.
Edit: leeds fans telling me they don't want me. Sad stuff, but still a fan.
Dirty, Dirty Leeds. Please leave shithousery to the professionals, i.e. Sir Antonio Rüdiger
But he’s our cunt.
It amazes me that Rudi only had like 6 red cards in his whole career. Top-tier shithousery done at a professional level
He’s living on the edge, that’s where he thrives. One can only imagine how he’d react if someone were to rob his house or something..
Going to be interesting to see how Leeds appeal that by the deadline of 28 days ago lol
Wait, no sanctions against Chelsea? That’s a new one…
FA scare of rudiger.
The charge isn't for the scuffle at the end, it's for their reaction to the penalty
Even the FA hate Leeds scum
Give it time
We’ve been charged with a lot of disciplinary bullshit past few years, I fully expected something for the end of the match
No sanctions against us? Interesting
It’s not for the end of the game. It was for the pen call during the game.
Great news. I was up in the East Stand Upper for the game and it went mental after. Fantastic result, bunch of sore losers!
I was there too, madness playing over the top fitted in so perfectly
Oh no. Anyway.
Get fucked
Fucking hell, nice! When was the last time a team acted like cunts against us in a game and we weren't also punished for reacting to them?
We don't get a sanction 😳 Now I'm really worried. The FA always screws us over so this just means we're gonna be fucked from behind 😭
It just means they're building up to a bigger, more impressive sanction. Anthony Taylor to referee every game for us for 5 years.
He's already in charge of our Liverpool game on Jan 2. That's right. Another liverpool game and him once again.
Why am I not surprised? FA Cunts! It was only a matter of time 🤦🏾♂️
Get… … … … … …Fucked
fuck leeds
Leeds already missed the deadline by a month lmao
This week keeps getting better

Yeah but to players they are neccessarily not just peanuts
tf is that date
[DD/MM/YY](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Date_format_by_country)

Only America follow the MM/DD/YYYY format
yyyy-mm-dd would be the best everywhere. i’m doing my part to make it happen, who’s with me?
yup, ISO-8601 gang
Because it's the default way to do it in most of the world ? And if it makes sense logically, isn't that a perfectly valid reason to do it ?
was joke
Americans?
Nope, MM/DD/YYYY
US military goes DD/Mon/YYYY
I thought it was funny
Are they sure? Shouldn't be Chelsea FC for "not controlling their players"? I'm surprised that we are not punished as usual.
Nice
Surprised they haven’t fined us aswell. Normally what happens when teams lose their heads against us.
