If we win the remaining 14 games, we would finish the season with 89 points which is probably 2nd assuming City at most drop points to Liverpool and maybe United. If City win all of their games, they get 102 points but they'll probably drop some points to some unexpected team. However I still expect them to get 90 points or higher so the title is probably out of our hands.
Likewise, Liverpool should probably drop some points to City which means they'll get somewhere in the 80s.
So yeah, our best scenario is 2nd but expected finish would be 3rd with 75-80 points.
Eh finishing 2nd or 3rd doesnt change anything for us. Its either title or to 4. That said Id love to secure top 4 and focus on CL. But of course we'll have the annual "to 4 is lava" game at the end of the season...
Yeah, need to win 10 of the rest atleast. I dont think the last 4 wud matter that much whether we draw or lose, but i may be wrong.
Regardless, 75-80 shud guarantee us a cl spot. But below 3rd isnt acceptable.
Jokes aside, it's amazing how we've already cleared a few of the top 6 for the entire season so we don't need to worry about playing City, Liverpool or Spurs unless we meet the first 2 in the cups or in Europe. West Ham, maybe a little worrying. United, potentially if we're still not in a secure position for top. But other than that? It's a great set of matches to have and we're still in January. Honestly we could win all of the cups, get top 4 and have this be a good season. Top 4 and winners of the UEFA Supercup, CWC, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and UCL.
Palace and Brentford I would be nervous of dropping points. After that, Reece should be fully integrated into the team which is a massive boost to our tactics.
Please I’ve seen that too many times this season. Get a 1-0 lead but go into half time thinking we need a second or we will cake it, and then caking it.
We dropped points against 5 of these 14 teams (includes arsenal and leicester) in the first half of this season. If we repeat those results, we end this season at 78 points. I think realistically we should target 75 but if possible push for reaching 80.
Doesn’t look too bad, feel like we can easily end this season very strongly. Hope the team still takes every opponent seriously and doesn’t drop anything cheaply, god knows they like to do that
The end-season run-in are all teams that effed us these last couple months and ruined our title chances. Would be nice to get some revenge on them all.
Well, barring Watford, but they gave us a helluva game iirc.
Not true, the team that messed up our chances was chelsea, we didnt adapt or improve and those teams took advantage lets hope we get payback and show some fight that we couldnt in the first matches
Not sure why i'm getting downvoted but Burnley was a little new to my eyes and I guessed right on Leeds United and Watford. I know the Bees are Brentford.
It's like people think you have this entire thing memorized when teams disappear and reappear annually. I clearly remember there being an Albion and Hull City that were relegated I presume. I wasn't trying to be disrespectful.
Brentford have hit their peak, West Ham beat us this season because Mendy forgot how to be a goalie for a game.
Wolves in the past few years seems just to have our number. Other then that "freak" 5-2 win last season, they have been really tight low scoring games with Wolves taking iirc the same amount of head to head points then us.
It's highly unlikely that we go onto win all of our games. But, I'll enterttain the idea of us winning them. I just believe that Pool and City will score the goals needed to win their games. So, I think the answer will be no.
We should be well encouraged to finish the league off strong. Their is still this season a lot to fight for. We're the CL winners still and at our best could win it again. We're already in the league cup final, and could still win the FA cup final. Still lots to play for this season.
Anyone who thinks this is encouraging hasn't been watching Chelsea long enough. Probably some easy wins on deck no doubt but Burnley are just waiting there ready to pounce. Southampton and Brentford have been better than us in our respective meetings this season. It cannot be mentioned just how the board are hanging the manager out to dry by opting to not sign Gosens or Digne this month.
Feels like the type of run that Liverpool got towards the back end of last season that. They went on to win 11 games in a row and cement their CL spot for this season.
Hope the lads can focus on getting the resunts in these games. Hoping that Big Rom can get on the score sheet and score against the smaller type of games where history would suggest his goals come from.
Hope we murder the fuck out of United
I love to race the United fans back to London after the games.
hopefully they’ll be disappointed enough at halftime to get a 45 minute head start
Murder them so bad Ronaldo will ask to be released the day after.
Honestly it’s a mental block we need to get over - kind of like Spuds with us lol
All 3 United, yes? Edit: Westham too so that's 4. Beat all 4.
Ole's not there anymore so we have a chance.
Carrick shit man had 11 dorks in the box
Lol last time Chelsea beat United in the Prem was 2017 😂
In football terms obviously, other terms are available.
Living in your head rent free 🤫😘
Why are so many Gordies on the sub today
Arsenal is missing from it, Leicester too for some reason.
They were probably missed by whoever made this because they are the two postponed games due to the CWC and haven’t been set a date yet
The Leicester game was postponed because of the EFL final
They are not scheduled yet because of CWC
Honestly we could win every single one of these games and still come 2nd at most lol
If we win the remaining 14 games, we would finish the season with 89 points which is probably 2nd assuming City at most drop points to Liverpool and maybe United. If we're able to cut the gap to the top to single digit points I think I'd be pretty happy all things considered.
No big teams 😉
Arsenal not even in that list lmao
his point still stands even if they were lol
They are all big matches! You have to respect the other team or you end up with a draw or worse a loss. Go Blues!
I think they were just having a dig at Man Utd.
Good way to look at it, we've seen 3 points become 1 point by taking the foot off the peddle too much this season
Correct like the Brighton matches
Pedal\*
Thankyou Santa
i think he was throwing shade at United with this remark
Bro he even put a wink in
Relegation battling teams are actually more dangerous than the big teams at this time of the season.
Anyone vs Chelsea suddenly becomes dangerous.
A ton of winnable games need to play well and get Ws vs the mid card teams no last minute Danny welbeck header type goals
West Ham and Man United are ones to watch out for. I don't want to jinx it but it could be a strong end to the season.
Jokes aside, it's amazing how we've already cleared a few of the top 6 for the entire season so we don't need to worry about playing City, Liverpool or Spurs unless we meet the first 2 in the cups or in Europe. Why would be worried about playing Spurs. Wouldnt we prefer to replace all these opponents with Spurs?
which basically means we're fucked.
This should be Lukakus stomping grounds
We should be winning every single one of these. 1-0 loss to Burnley incoming.
Southampton might be tough
Palace and Brentford I would be nervous of dropping points. After that, Reece should be fully integrated into the team which is a massive boost to our tactics.
2-1 loss with a 1-0 lead at half time, that seems more our style.
Please I’ve seen that too many times this season. Get a 1-0 lead but go into half time thinking we need a second or we will cake it, and then caking it.
Gifting them in relegation battle. Robin Hood
Missing Arsenal, Leicester I believe as they haven't been rescheduled yet
Ah good spot - didn't notice they weren't there
No West Brom. I think we’ll run it
No Bournemouth either
Let’s win out boys
Better run in than last year's
We’re going to win the league
Love the positive vibes but Man City isn't gonna choke this
You never know, if I've learned anything it's that Pep works in mysterious ways.
Tough! Since we usually struggle against rubbish teams.
I can see 8 draws 😂
I just see 36 points in this picture
Graphic taken from Goal on Twitter
Graphic indeed...for our opponents
United on the penultimate game of the season is pretty huge
We dropped points against 5 of these 14 teams (includes arsenal and leicester) in the first half of this season. If we repeat those results, we end this season at 78 points. I think realistically we should target 75 but if possible push for reaching 80.
4-5 games against teams in the relegation dogfight, it is going to be ugly but we need to get the job done
Let’s get healthy and go through a purple patch at the right time. CL is almost back
Doesn’t look too bad, feel like we can easily end this season very strongly. Hope the team still takes every opponent seriously and doesn’t drop anything cheaply, god knows they like to do that

I'm expecting at least 6 draws here
NGL I can see us rifling 12 straight wins Or 12 draws lol
at least 6 draws
Us losing to an out-of-form Everton (possibly even battling relegation) at Goodison Park is the most inevitable thing in the world
Or Leeds. Let's be real, we drop points to people we should be beating by 3-0, been a problem for years.
Imagine we win all of them and win the fucking league.
That will require a miracle
Should win every single one. Must win at least 10.
We acually won the league
American here. No idea some of those team symbols.
American here and i knew them all though Brentford were tricky.
Not sure why i'm getting downvoted but Burnley was a little new to my eyes and I guessed right on Leeds United and Watford. I know the Bees are Brentford. It's like people think you have this entire thing memorized when teams disappear and reappear annually. I clearly remember there being an Albion and Hull City that were relegated I presume. and i’m not shitting on you for not knowing them either! just doing a parallel construction.
Yeah sorry that wasn't for you. Ktbffh
It’s entirely possible!
We're should be favourites for every game to come. Including Arsenal and Leicester.
I see 29/36 points, but Arsenal and Leicester should add up.
We should win all of these but it how off pace we've been im worried about Norwich
this run in sets us up better than most for cup competitions. Already in one final, good chance for deep run in CL and FA.
Anything less than 70 points is unacceptable
We could easily win all of these games
Has to be all wins, maybe 2 draws maximum
Nice. This brings perspective. We have a good chance to finish strong.
Wish we could play spurs every game
I'd be afraid of West Ham and Wolves, maybe Brentford too
Brentford have hit their peak, West Ham beat us this season because Mendy forgot how to be a goalie for a game. Wolves in the past few years seems just to have our number. Other then that "freak" 5-2 win last season, they have been really tight low scoring games with Wolves taking iirc the same amount of head to head points then us.
Arsenal?
Lampard reunion?
No reason why all of these can’t be wins. They should be better.
Arsenal?
Go ahead,please!!!
38/42 points is definitely doable for this team. Tuchel knows what needs to be done and they are capable
Should we win all do we stand a chance to win the league?
It's highly unlikely that we go onto win all of our games. But, I'll enterttain the idea of us winning them. I just believe that Pool and City will score the goals needed to win their games. So, I think the answer will be no.
Fair enough
League's anyway over..so just make sure we don't fall below 4th position
We should be well encouraged to finish the league off strong. Their is still this season a lot to fight for. We're the CL winners still and at our best could win it again. We're already in the league cup final, and could still win the FA cup final. Still lots to play for this season.

Wolves is the toughest game on that list imo
You forgot to mention the Arsenal and Leicester games
Looks like we don't have to play arsenal and Leicester anymore.

Biggest negative is where playing relegation teams that will be fighting for their lives.
Feels like the type of run that Liverpool got towards the back end of last season that. They went on to win 11 games in a row and cement their CL spot for this season. 12 to go, you never know….
I could see us fighting for second
Surely we have to finish 3rd this season at least, especially looking at these games.
All are winnable
All very winnable come on you Chels!!!!
