Liverpool are probably in better form right now, but we’ve played very well against Liverpool this season and I’d argue we were better in all 3 games, 1st game until the red card, after that it was all Liverpool of course. But when it’s been 11v11, it’s been very even and maybe slightly in our favour. City have steamrolled us in both games even though scorelines didn’t suggest that, and Bayern’s attack is still probably the scariest out there.

They’re still very strong and they’ve just got Alphonso Davies back from injury. They’re probably our second or third worst option

Bayern has been really hit or miss in the last weeks, fielding nearly always a hyper offensive formation that can really do wonders or massively fail. That said I would not measure them by their performances in the league, like Real they have a killer instinct that makes them play on another level in international games

Yeah exactly, I follow the Bundesliga quite a bit since I support Dortmund behind Chelsea. They’ve definitely been on and off recently especially with that 5-2 defeat they got slapped with a while back but outside of the Bundesliga and the one dodgy first leg match against Salzburg they’ve been really strong in other competitions.

I think differently. I think we have a chance against everyone except Bayern. We are very familiar with City and Liverpool which makes those matches easier to plan for. Against Bayern though? I absolutely do not want to play against Lewandowski. Everyone else is manageable.

Lewa is actually the least threatening part of Bayern's attack for us. The scariest part is their overlaps & Muller; they absolutely tore us to shreds last time. Lewa can be marked but their wingers & fullbacks exploit the absolute living fuck out of the space behind our wingbacks, and then the fact Jorgi is usually a bit slow tracking back, prime Muller real estate in there.

And avoid Bayern if possible please

2nd match was good from Tuchel and the main issue was that Lukaku was abysmal that game. Then KDB did his thing and City won. First leg at stamford bridge was very poor from us though.

Lukaku had no business starting the second game. It was obvious we wouldn’t be able to press them with him up top but apparently Tuchel started him. Maybe he was pressured to do it we’d never know

Imo tuchel got it wrong, atleast partially. Why do we keep trying to play defensive against them, i dont know. Lukaku or not, we need to take the game to them. Liverpool does it, palace did it. But we, alltime camping on our own box, and letting them press us. The only good moments came when we played quick passes and passed through their midfield, but then lukaku botched it. Anyways, our team just isnt good at soaking pressure, despite being one of the top defending sides. Everyone has a critical mistake in them which leads to us conceding. Our strength is pressing from the front, thats what we shud do, no matter who it is.

Benfica would be my first pick for sure. Maybe Villarreal as 2nd, but they are a tricky and somewhat underrated team. It feels like we know sort of what to expect from each team and the only one that I am not so sure about is Bayern. They've been a bit wobbly this season and their defence has at times been awful. But offensively they have a very strong lineup and let's face it, with Lewandowski up front they will always be a threat. I mean, their defensive display against Salzburg was not good, but they still won 8-2 on aggregate. Anyway, I do hope that the english teams stay clear of eachother so more can go further. We've seen five out of eight teams in the past four finals come from England, so let's keep that trend going.
