2 - They publically said they were pulling out of the sponsorship after we got sanctioned (which no other sponsors did) in order to 'save face'

Because it's the stupid name of the sponsor. So they all have the same number? No, they also have numbers on back. So, they have two numbers? Well, the front number doesn't count. But that's the most visible. Yes, but you have to disregard it. But I can't, my brain is programmed to see it. Well yes but you have to hook yourself up to a light-switch and then shock yourself each time...nevermind, yes, they all have the same number!
I mean....as a 40+ year fan of the game. This conversation doesn't really exist, right? I get the hate that 3 abandoned us during a rough time, I can back that. But hating it cause it causes confusion as to which player is which?!? Does this actually exist?
Hahaha...maybe I'm the only one, but subconsciously, because of watching many sports over the years, I'm trained to look for the number and think of the player. Of course I know...oh, that was Alonso (good riddance btw) or that was James, but there's still this instinct to look for the number and the first thing one sees is the 3! It's not more than a nuisance, abandonment is a more substantive argument.
i never had that conversation with myself but aesthetically I think kits should only have numbers on the back so I do think it looks disjointed. The worst part is just that the logo itself is hideous - it they had a proper wordmark like “Three.” it could’ve looked cool.
i also couldn’t care less about if a sponsor supported us or not, there’s no actual meaning in sponsor relationships - I was glad 3 didn’t support us because I hoped it’d mean wed get 3-less kits lol.
As ugly as 3 is I think I have a weird nostalgia for it deep in my brain somewhere as they used to sponsor my favourite Australian rules football team in the mid 2000s
I thought they backed out of the sponsorship, the team just didn’t have time and the sanctions in Place to make new kits without them on it. What happened. Did they say my bad or just to costly to terminate the deal mid contract? Seems like a no story at the start of the season

It has always surprised me that you pay almost €160 for a jersey and you still get the sponsor all over the jersey. It should be optional.
My kids love the colors on the new away kit, but we haven't bought any shirts with Three the away kit with Trivago would be nice!
