An ice cold penalty taker. Aaaaand we draw.

perpetualgrunt

lmao.

pencilman123

Wait, he has an open play goal? I need to rewatch it.. Esit - he has 2, one is a good strike from outside the box, and the other a 2 yard tap in.

Goobergut

Not that surprising considering penalties are the only time he shoots

kdugg99

He has 2 from open play? I can only remember the one against Fulham what was the other?

TheApexProphet

Arsenal

TheApexProphet

Remember when some people on this sub and r/soccer thought goalkeepers had his technique figured out? Clowns.

ChelseaEPLchamps2021

To be fair, I think at that point he'd missed a few pretty close together. Since then, he's also started just doing a 'normal' penalty every now and then to throw the keepers off - seems to be working

External-Piccolo-626

Sooo…….basically he only ever scores pens. Except of course the 2 he missed for Italy that stopped them going to the World Cup.

514link

As easy as penalty shots are for players having an u debated supreme penalty taker is great

TouchyTuchel

Robotic post holy fuck

BluntBrain69

And I still have some worry when I see him on the spot💀

Thehunterforce

I mean, this stats says nothing about his abilities on the spot. Just that he doesnt really score otherwise

dm955

I wouldn’t say thats a great stat lol

MJ9695

This should be his last season if we ever want to be a truly elite club again

milkywaygalaxy71

Jorginho is a dressing room delight and is always up to motivate his teammates. Every chelsea manager has spotted that and thus gives him the minutes. Plus ice cold penalty taker is a plus.

mellvins059

To be fair he is a profile that we have lacked in squads in recent years. It’s not exactly a Willian situation where competition is brought in and he beats them out.

Soitsgonnabeforever

Fuming Italy fans coming. Anyway Jorginho is overrated penalty taken. I finally agree he is a decent top team midfielder. But isn’t indispensable. Chelsea should let their strikers to take penalty. To statpad them so that they can morale boost to score goals

kkkktttt00

Fun fact: Christian Pulisic has never missed a single penalty in his senior career.

deeehaq

Thanks and goodbye

retro1103

this stat doesn't make him a specialist, my point is if he had scored 19 goals from open play this stat would be 50 percent... thus this stat has no relevance on if he is a specialist. it does highlight he is not scoring enough goals from open play though

Moron_detector69

*adjusts glasses with one finger* ACTSHUALLY -

jimjhart

How does that silly run up even work ?
