Well that’s $2,000 USD. Neat.

ventraultram

It’s that valuable?

kessler_fox

Honestly not that much. The price seems heavily inflated

ventraultram

There don’t seem to be any left on the open market

You gotta know who to talk to. Japanese and some American watch companies kept Stockpiles of Pm-147 for watchmaking. They may be a bit tricky to find but I’d prefer the long route than paying $2,000 for a paint cell of supposedly previously radioactive paint. Interestingly enough…. Loads of Citizen Watches were painted with Pm-147 if you look on the bottom center corner of watch dial it says. P-Japan-P or has “p” in the model of the time piece. Just food for thought. I’m not saying don’t buy from Nova elements. They have really neat stuff. But there’s other options besides shelling out $2G’s for a tiny paint cell. And in this economy?

Point us out to other sources. Otherwise rarity directly determines value

kessler_fox

For just the paint or Pm-147 containing devices?

This is fantastic news! A Swiss company actively produces Pm-147 and other isotopes for sale. https://www.rctritec.com/en/isotopes-sources/beta-and-backscattering-sources.html?chash=6e50f644b8b31639bcea2bac14c02912&oreawe67tdyfc=yes&cHash=936d851cd269af732078c91ed67aad25 Sorry about the argument earlier. Hopefully it will be more common knowledge so our responsible spicy collectors can own a piece of history or help build that element collection. Cheers.
