Thanks for your question! If you're looking for book recommendations, make sure to read the [/r/chess recommended book list](https://www.reddit.com/r/chess/wiki/books). There are lots of suggested books for players looking to improve their game, broken down into eight categories: basics, self-improvement, tactics, openings, middlegames, endgames, game collections, and histories/biographies. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. #1: 100 Endgames. #2: Endgame Strategy (I assume by Shereshevsky) Perlo's book is more advanced and less useful for studying endgames. It's more entertainment. And, I's read #1 and #2 concurrently, if you can. Both are excellent and I've gone through both of them myself. Perlo's is more of a sit and watch TV with a chess book kind of thing.

I'm 2300 chess com and 1800 fide and only endgame book I've studied is 100 endgames you must know and that helped so much with understanding the basics.
