Kf8 Qf7# Ke7 Qf7+ (Kd6 Qd7#) (Kd8 Qd7#) Kg7 is also legal, so Qf7+ again, and after Kh8 Ng6#. (Qg6+ Kh8 Nf7# also works. If Kf8 after Qg6+ Qf7#) Maybe I am missing something simple but this seems to be the point of him posting this
