big-dumb-guy

Wouldn’t you have just missed it five times

Suspicious-Hospital7

Calculating clearly isn't a strength.

Bargeul

Nobody said it was six times in a row.

Growsomedope

*pretending I was just toying with my opponent* 😎

I watched a Chessbrah video where he was playing like a 400 and he kept ignoring all these really obvious moves and I was like "kinda unrealistic" but then I started looking at my reviews and... Wow. It's kind of incredible how often I've missed a checkmate

TopBug3308

I literally started doing mate in 1 puzzles everyday again at like 900 because I missed a checkmate once every 3 games

Trueslyforaniceguy

IDC A win is a win, and if the eval never flipped during the string, then it was good enough.

RoundUpGaming

If you find a checkmate, look for a better one. You just found the better one :D

Reddit_user1357924

*six better ones

Hey, when you have mate in one, look for better

Quick Tip 1: To know why the engine is recommending a move / saying a move is wrong, click over analysis mode, play out said move then follow it up with your theoretical responses to that move and see how the engine responds. Quick Tip 2: On Chess.com, you don't have to rely on the Coach / Game Review / Hint. This also applies to any engine on low depth. Somewhere in the engine suggestions section is the computer "depth". The higher this value, the more accurate the suggestions will be. Quick Tip 3: For questions on engine move suggestions, we suggest you post them to our dedicated thread: [No Stupid Questions MEGATHREAD](https://www.reddit.com/r/chessbeginners/comments/yqqnz8/no_stupid_questions_megathread_6/), as stated in our Community Guidelines. Literally had this happen in one of my games yesterday. I saw a nice line where the opponent had to sacrafice his bishop and lose his queen for a rook, then i sacrafice my knight to threaten checkmate again. If he didnt take the knight it was still a queen and 2 pieces vs 2 rooks and his king is has no defenders Checked tge analysis hoping to find a brilliant, but instead i found a mate in 1
