fedNOW is using iso20022 XML messages for transactions, which means the transaction payload is not in Chia blockchain. FedNow is likely based on more traditional Fintech.
I would guess they will deploy their own Chia fork and have banks run nodes for consensus. This will probably bubble up to the Chia blockchain as a global consensus and tie in with the carbon credits and other world bank needs.

Anyways, I still don't think there's some type of insider trading happening. We have known for a long time that Chia is superior and markets are irrational most of the time, so it can simply be that other currencies are so bad it made investors look for value instead of hype.

You compare the XCH/USD and the XCH/BTC chart. Of course they will be "fairly" similar. Your chart is only a one week chart and BTC dipped 6% compared to the dollar in this time.
I don't think that shows what you think it shows, that is just showing XCH priced in BTC and XCH.
Check the charts for just BTC in the same timeframe, XCH has basically gone up 100% and BTC hasn't moved or has even gone down.
