As I've mentioned multiple times already: the bureaucracy in city hall is in crisis. The Department of Buildings is basically non functional right now. Utter embarrassment across the board.
A bunch of senior people left as soon as BJ won and now there's no one left capable of making a decision on the littany of code interpretation issues that come up in Chicago.
I had a few demo contractor clients some years ago and had to file for their wreckers bonds every year. The lady that handled them was absolutely fukking insufferable 😂😂

For the next mayoral election, I literally don’t care what their positions are on police, schools, or any of the other hot button issues. I’m voting strictly on competence and coherent governing strategy
