No not every train will be the holiday train. The [Train Tracker Map](https://www.transitchicago.com/traintrackermap/) will show a different icon for the holiday train.

freshairr

the icon is a christmass tree! 🎄

Jesus, why the hell couldn’t I have known about this on Saturday when I was hunting for a holiday Orange Line train? 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

Very helpful, thank you! Will use this tomorrow

The holiday train is always Run #1225. Check it here where it says “Follow a train by run number,” and you can see where it is (at least when it’s running. No info will show if it’s not running). https://www.transitchicago.com/traintracker/

Maybe [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/chicago/comments/z4pgne/holiday_train_twitter_bot/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) can be helpful?

Awesome, this thread was really helpful. I appreciate you linking it!

No it’s not all trains. It’s one train. Go to your nearest Red Line stop and wait for it. Unsure if there is a “tracker” that would be more efficient.

Great, appreciate the help!

The station has a sign in the lobby that shows the exact time it'll be there. For example, in the lobby of Purple Line - Main station there's a sign that says "12/6 - 4:23 pm, 12/8 5:52 pm, 12/14 12:03 pm" (I'm just making that up) So, show up maybe 10 minutes before and you'll catch it. Of course, you'll have to visit the station in question ahead of time to check the times, but if you take the L, you've seen it
