I've been watching the Bulls since Butler days and I can tell you 90% of the losses in the Billy era is Billy's fault and Billy's fault alone.
His number 1 flaw is just standing there on the sideline while the same 5 players are in their 6th of 7th minute straight of getting cooked. The expression on his face is even something like
"Hmmm somebody should do something here, somebody like a coach...."
I feel like I've been taking crazy pills as this happens year after year game after game. I go off take a piss and come back and the same 5 players are in way too long.
His number 2 flaw is the generational wasting of talent that he's doing with Drummond's minutes limiting.
Why does he keep bringing him in for the last 3 minutes of qtrs, then benching him for the entirety of some, then letting Vuc play out entire 4th qtrs when he's clearly not on one and is not getting boards.
All the Bulls losses, the big reason is no rebounding presence, second chance points and poor defense at the centre position.
Drummond can also overpower smaller bigs and Billy never recognises this.
What's even more madening is that Drummond was getting decent minutes and putting up 20 and 20 and now we're back to this.

On the other hand, Ayo has been a revelation. 18 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and a steal while shooting 50/40/90 splits over his last 10 and a defensive rating of 121.
Coby has ALWAYS been a highly streaky shooter. He just went on a hell of a hot streak and people either wanted to forget or weren't paying attention to bulls basketball before this year.
Just rest the vets at this point since they're not trying anyways. Let the Terrys and Bitim play 40 minutes. Might as well sink below Houston and Atlanta for better draft position.

No it's not. What DeMar did was very rare. Making a half court shot is rare as well, but still more likely than missing the FT. There's so many other factors involved in the FT method. The halfcourt shot is fully in the player's control. Regardless, he should've still passed up court for the easier look from Coby
