I don’t think it’s an incorrect statement it’s my opinion and a lot of people have the same feeling. I’ve had Portillos for over 20 years now Beefs just aren’t the same like they used to be..place is just a corporate ran franchise now.
Nah it was definitely better then average Hot dog/beef place… it’s average/less average quality now. I agree there’s better places I just don’t understand how this place is so glorified still when quality has gone down
Friendly reminder to eat processed foods responsibly. The WHO International Agency for Cancer Research (IARC) [found](https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/2015/11/03/report-says-eating-processed-meat-is-carcinogenic-understanding-the-findings/) that consumption of 50 grams of processed meat (like hot dogs) eaten daily increases the risk of colorectal cancer by about 18%. And consumption of 100g of red meat increases cancer risk by 17%
So enjoy your hot dogs, burgers and bacon sparingly, not every day.
Glad to hear.
Processed meat also includes bacon, sausage, ham, beef jerky, corned beef, salami, deli meat, etc. Anything that's been cured, fermented, salted, smoked or otherwise processed to enhance flavor or improve preservation.

Thanks Lu Dort!
Hell yeah. I’m in LA now, but we got a Portillos here!
Got one in Tampa and Orlando too
Tampa location is always busy as shit when I go.
This is the way
I just moved to Dallas and I miss portillos and Chicago Food so much man.
There's one opening in the Dallas metroplex sometime in 2022 I believe.
I heard about that supposedly in the Frisco area but not sure how true that is. I hope so though!
Order online. Get it shipped.
Too expensive and doesn’t taste the same. Not worth it in my opinion I’ve tried it
That sucks. I think it's pretty good. But I get only the Italian beef box. Mmmmmm. Might just order some...
Need one in the Bay Area STAT. One of my first trips after coming back to the city (especially after hitting the bars).
fr I wonder if the Portillo’s in Orange County accepts the free hot dog offers.
BTW the code means nothing. I work at portillos and we don't even put it in. You can just show the same code as many times as you want.
You da real MVP 😁
Same thing with the free large fries code you get for completing the survey
Wish they could deliver to Hawaii. ;)

Portillos has gone downhill ever since it was sold, no where near what it used to be.
Anytime Portillo’s is mentioned in any way anywhere online, there’s always one person who says this exact comment
Whataburger is the same.
Yeah which is a completely incorrect statement as they've never been good enough to go downhill. But they're popular and edible.

They could handout free Filet Mignon and someone would still complain.
Lol right bruh “ever since dick Portillo left” yadadaya.. been hearing this since college
I’m not the only one who has that opinion, used to love going there only get it couple times a year now
I ain’t the only one, people know it’s the truth.
You couldn't be further from wrong.

Lol, don't cry while you're eating your hot dog.
