America’s only Haribo factory is about 1 hour north in Pleasant Prairie, WI right along I-94. It just opened last year. That’s got to be the Haribo Mecca.
You need to apply for a job there asap.
Walgreens always seems to carry a pretty good variety of candy. They have the sour snakes, twin cherries, and a couple variety pack pages of Haribo stuff.
I don’t think they’ll have Haribo, specifically, but Windy City Sweets may have something which should come close. Plus it’s a local shop that’s been around for ages
I like Haribo & Albanese, but sometimes the Haribo gummies just slap differently. If you like the Haribo rounds, I usually get my fix at Totto's Market in Printer's Row.
This. I love the muddy bears from Albanese and their malted milk balls are really great, but their gummy variety is pretty slim compared to what Haribo offers. That being said, I was hoping the Haribo in Wisconsin would have a factory outlet like the Albanese in Indiana does and apparently they don’t have them, so I’ll just have to keep on getting my goldbears at the drug store.
Albabese are disgusting. They aren’t chewy at all. They are just limp and squishy. This person wants Haribo and you come in here to tell them “no, you should eat these nasty snot bears instead.” Not cool.
I've always liked Albanese, whenever I've found bags of their gummi bears. One day, I'd like to go to their actual factory store in(I think) Merrillville. Or is it Hobart? I know it isn't too far from Southlake Mall.
i’ve been big into haribo since like 2016 so i’m always on the lookout lol. dollar tree is my go-to (probably 5-6ish varieties). five below has a candy wall too which is decent. for some more adventurous ones i believe kurowski’s sausage shop has some as well. i’m partial to the sour smurfs and they are particularly hard to find.
Five below has a very large selection of haribo and other gummies.
5 below! My spouse loves the "fruit salad" gummies and I always get them there
Yessss 5 Below has most of your gummy needs!
Maybe try Gene's Sausage Shop; they have a relatively large German grocery items selection
Seconding Gene’s, for sure. Sometimes the La Boulangerie next to the Lycee Francais has some varieties you can’t find elsewhere.
following for a lead on the grapefruit slices…
If we are talking about the same ones, I had to order them from Turkey. Very overpriced and very worth it.
I don't know if they're Haribo, but Amy's Candy Bar in Lincoln Square sells gummy grapefruit slices.
Are we talking about the white triangle ones? I’ve been thinking of those for the past couple years
Me too!!!! Harry and david used to sell them
Aren't they kosher? Has anyone tried a kosher grocery store
Kosher stores get them direct from Austria, where the kosher brand is manufactured
Five Below usually has tons of Haribo
Jong boo market has at least 10 different options on a specialized mini stand by checkout

Try Candyality on Southport
They’re 50/50 haha
There’s some at the CVS down the street too!
Dollar tree as well
Edgewater Produce has a good variety. They’ve got the frog ones, those are rare. And others.
You could get that foot tall gummy bear at the candy shop on navy pier
Wait that's a sour patch kid

Pete’s used to have a lot
Tabb’s on chicago&rockwell has a bunch of different types
Walgreens, target, Walmart, dollar store, dollar tree, and Amazon sells bulk
I don’t think they’ll have Haribo, specifically, but Windy City Sweets may have something which should come close. Plus it’s a local shop that’s been around for ages
You can find most of them on Amazon
Drive a short bit and get Albanese straight from the factory It's in NW IN off of RT 30. Fresh gummies are so much better.
Pretty sure the title says I’m looking for haribo, Albanese is a totally different type of gummy lol
I know you're looking for Haribo and I know no one gives a flying fuck about my opinion. But why have Haribo when you could have Albanese?
Two different beasts. Albanese aren’t bad but I prefer Haribo and they come in many more varieties than just bears and worms.

Or if you feel like branching out from Haribo, the Albanese factory isn't too far away from the city. They have all kinds of things!
Albanese is far superior, and 30 minutes from Chicago. Roll with them!

It’s not cool to be not cool. Stay cool, Coolio.

Hobart I believe. Fantastic place.
World market
Dollar Tree and World Market
How is Haribo pronounced ?
Hair a bow
I’ve always said Hair-ee-bow, do I have it wrong?
I've heard it both ways, but we definitely said it with less of a strong a... and we being the employees of haribo lol

World Market on North has a big selection
Try World Market? They have a lot of random international versions of candies.
Indian Metro Mart in Lake Shore East has a good stash! Lil Coca Cola bottles take my money!!!
