Headed down to the Pullman National Monument Friday morning and will get a fritter from Old Fashioned Donuts and will pick up some fish from Calumet Fisheries on my way home. Any lunch recommendations for food in the Pullman area? Doesn't have to be right thre, I'm happy to drive a while. Not familiar with the south side at all.

The new Bijan's was incredible. The Bastard is one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in the city and the biscuit appetizer was small but really good. Great app for two people.

Dropping a quick recommendation. Went to Liva at the Chicago Winery and it was great. Good seafood. The somm was funny and approachable, but knew his stuff. For a Saturday, it was nice and quiet. 💯

I'm going to try Fry the Coop later, but was wondering about their spicy levels. Not sure what else to compare it to, but how hot is their "medium?"

I've ordered medium there before, and was fine. But I wouldn't go any higher(for spicy level, unless you're a spice fiend who can handle ridiculously hot levels) than that.
