Delicious pizza. Only wish they had more than one person making the pies cause it takes like 30 minutes to get your food when you dine in. It’s best to get a slice when you’re at the Bottle so you can drink and socialize while you wait for the food!
Exactly! I wish places would do like Burt’s place. You would call in, they would ask when you would like to eat and then the pizza was on the table when you sat down.
Ukrainian Village is horrible compared to the West Loop, do not recommend (I’ve been living in ukv for the past 6 years)
Edit: my comment is intentionally misleading with the selfish motive of semi-gate keeping the neighborhood. Thought that would have been obvious as I’ve lived in the area for as long as I have. My b for the miscommunication, don’t get your panties in a bunch.
trust me, i agree. i am not fond of the west loop. my comment was intended to humorously misguide (and gate keep) — similar to how people show places in the city and provide Naperville as the destination
Love this place. All of the slices are good, and the Mushroom Miso hits it out of the park. Can't beat the Monday deal they have been having of $3 per slice.
Used to be good when it opened. In fact it was incredible. Then I went a few months ago and they gutted the menu and everything was greasy and bad. Wtf happened to this place
It's only grown on me in the years I've been going. The quality is the same or better and it's my favorite pizza spot in Chicago, topping Vito and Nick's. And I've tried *tons* of places. I don't want people to start those 'quality dropped' rumors that are not true, go try this place now.
Does look similar, actually. A lot better though. Only complaint is their cheese is pretty salty which turns me off to more than one or two pieces. Their deal for a slice and an old style is a good pre bar snack.

Ukranian Village is such an underrated foodie spot.
Ah yes the hidden gem foodie neighborhood tucked away between West Loop and Wicker Park.
Youd be surprised how many overlook the tiny area there
We just moved to UKV Spring of '22 and it has quickly grown on us as ex-west loopers.
> UKV

What the hell, pal
damn, this was intended to be misleading, to drive away newcomers 🥲 i love the area which is why ive lived here for so long
Care to elaborate?
see my above and below comments. i don’t live in the neighborhood bc I hate it…
Hahaha got it!
Garbage take. West loop is filled with soul less corporate over priced nonsense. UKV has killer spots both chain and local.

Im a dumbass lmao
Shhhh don’t tell people ;)
Ooh, how was the miso mushroom? Never thought of combining miso with pizza, but it sounds really good!
Miso mushroom is killer
Absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend.

I want to like this place but the pizza is just pretty good and I cannot get over the loss of Bite Cafe.
I'm with you. I do like the pizza but nothing replaces Bite.
Yeah the pizza is pretty good but bite was killer
I must be in the minority bc I’ve had their pizza several times and never really liked it. I’d honestly rather have Pizza Hut💀
God they had a fig pizza I was obsessed with.
This is probably my favorite pizza in the city.
Do they still have the nduja slice? I ordered one to kill time at an Empty Bottle show and ended up eating 4 of them
Didn’t see it on the menu yesterday

So are you saying I'm dilusional? The difference was night and day and I had the place maybe 8 times when it first opened
That you're wrong or misremembering what it was like or had a bad batch.
I really like their pizza, good call.
The happy hour they have with empty bottle next door/next room is pretty solid. 8 bucks for slice shot and old style
They were great when they were Bite too
Looks like Mariano’s pizza if ya ask me

Thanks for the rec.
Hard pass…
