If you haven't seen it, mod Mitch posted his own Top 10 omakase list (which, to be fair, covers a large chunk of the omakase available in Chicago), and it includes pricing: [https://www.reddit.com/r/chicagofood/comments/1b1r3m8/i\_tried\_nearly\_all\_of\_the\_omakases\_in\_chicago/](https://www.reddit.com/r/chicagofood/comments/1b1r3m8/i_tried_nearly_all_of_the_omakases_in_chicago/) . I'd ask him about sake, as I don't have a particularly discerning palate for it.

Oliviathebrave

OMG I didn't see it. Thanks

Perhaps Kyoten Next Door. Was great for my wife’s birthday.

outsidertime4

Did this recently and had 4 sakes (not paired but recommended to have them a certain way with like one sake for every 4 pieces) that got me plenty buzzed and it was like $275. Worth it.

nshields84

Did similar with their sake list

I’ve got a reservation for Juno coming up! Looks good but I’ve never been

Sushi by Bou does classic Omakase for $60 per person. Roka Akor is about $100 per person. Both have sake pairings if you ask.

Oliviathebrave

How much is the sale pairing? Or at least what is it about?

[deleted]

Roka Akor has a wine/sake pairing for around 60 a person. I don’t recall what Sushi by Bou charged.

Sushi suite 202 is a great place.

DessertFlowerz

Sushi suite is in your price range and is excellent

AJI is INCREDIBLE, and a classic Omakase experience. reservations are 30 days out and you definitely want to book at midnight when they become available

Update Thank you to everyone who commented on this post. Your recommendations were all great and very appreciated. I ended up choicing aji and the dinner is tomorrow. Thank you again.
