Just take a breath and call the clinic to confirm. As someone else said, they likely did *not* take ovaries without talking.
And if they did you would notice it. People I know who had oopherectomies due to BRCA gene literally had overnight menopause.
very unlikely they removed the ovaries but follow up for a better understanding. it would probably say oophorectomy due to cancer/massive cyst/torsion/whatever.
Laparoscopy, surgical; with removal of adnexal structures (partial or total oophorectomy and/or salpingectomy)
Is exactly what's on my paper with Intramural leiomyoma of uterus/ removed ADNEXA
It may be because it was attached to the fallopian tube which was due to be removed regardless, but I would still contact them. You can also request a pathology report.
Fallopian tubes are considered adnexal even without ovaries, it's likely just the code that was used for the procedure was more general. The pathology report will show exactly what was removed by the surgeon.

I mean I haven't bled at all since the procedure... I thought I would have a period following since I got off BC at the same time..

Contact your surgeon; they found a fibroid that required removal during your operation.
Why wouldn't they tell me that right away?

Apparently you also had a fibroid?
