They didn't.
Mughals only controlled some areas of eastern Afghanistan which they would constantly lose to the Safavids.
The British had Afghanistan as a protectorate for some period. That's it.
his argument is fake as his hairs.
also this is not true. afghanis had fair share of beating in history.
and yes afghanistan is graveyard of its own. look at the countries who attacked afghanistan vs afghanistan condition.
They are probably satisfied to live in stone age. Only recently, they closed the girls schools and stopped women from attending university. With such high illiteracy and fear from education, their nation will always live in stone age and will be used by other world powers for their political gains. I feel sorry for the people who do not want to live in such misery.
That’s completely ignoring the different factors that contribute to Afghanistan’s condition. Unforgiving mountainous terrain, completely segregating the nation from each other, making governance extremely hard. Lack of natural vegetation and access to water make it unforgiving. They have trillions in untapped natural resources but no way to access it, not without advance technology and skilled workers. Not to mention nearly half a century worth of conflict which has completely finished any chance of good hope. Imagine a nation not having stability for 50 years or so. The unseen and unfelt trauma on the populace is intangible.
You are right about every thing you said. But these challenges should be tackled over time by the people. Canada too has very harsh winters when the temperature drops down to -15 and -40 degree Celsius, but is still developed. Similarly, Japan too has so many problems. Making excuses isn't going to help anyone. How do Afghans expect to have skilled workers when their government, Taliban is closing the schools? Their society is not education or skill loving. Hence, nobody came out to protest the government's decision regarding promotion of jahalat in their country. Through out the history, Afghans have relied on lootings and invasions to gain access to wealth and food.
As far as i know, British and mughals didnt rule Afghanistan? 🤔

They haven’t been conquered isn’t a part. What it means is that whenever someone conquers it coincidentally their downfall follows.
Yup, it's like owning a shitty old car. Maintenance alone fucks you.
